They did a great job. They were punctual, finished on time, and it was well worth it.

Mike assessed the leak (water stain) in the first floor ceiling. Then he disconnected the floor drain in the second floor shower. Because pieces of the plumber's putty were missing (washed away), Mike cleaned the area and replaced the putty with silicon caulk (because the fiberglass floor has a tendency to move). We had to wait forty-eight hours before using the shower. Since it was a small leak, Mike told me not to repair nor paint the ceiling until I was sure that the leak had been fixed. If not, call him and he would find and repair the leak. The toilet was noisy (fill valve whistled) when it was flushed. Mike replaced the fill valve with a new one that he had in his truck. Voila, the whistling was gone and we had peace of mind. Mike fixed both problems in approximately half an hour. He was fast, efficient and cleaned up any mess. He was very professional and friendly. I used an Angie's List offer ($109.00 for two hours of service) for minor plumbing repairs. Mike completed the leak repair and toilet repair in less than an hour without any additional cost to me. I was satisfied and I would not hesitate to call Mike again. Good plumbers are not easy to find.

Good for the job they performed. I had requested an estimate on another bigger job installing a new utility sink in the basement. They never got back to me with an estimate and did not respond to my email.

Mike and Conrad called to confirm, showed up on time, worked in a timely manner and were courteous and thoughtful about my questions. Provided a cloth canvas to protect the flooring and even restarted the dishwasher. It was a positive experience in every way. Thank you for referring them. I will certainly call them for any future plumbing problems and can recommend them to all.

We spoke on the phone first so he had an idea of job. He needed to go pick up some internal cylinder and he was done. I will call again

I bought the company's deal for $109 for two hours of labor. Scheduling was easy and Mike returned my call quickly. I had a ruptured pipe in my garage near the spigot, and then another break in the line going to an outdoor spigot about 15 feet away. The replaced both spigots with new ones, installed a new valve, and replaced about ten feet of copper pipe. Because the work took only about an hour for the two of them, they didn't charge me for the parts, and also repaired a dripping faucet in my basement. They were in and out in an hour, the work and parts are good quality, and I got a good value for some projects I didn't want to do myself. Great experience, I'll be using Hessco in the future.

Very good and very professional.

They sent two guys over. They showed up in a timely manner and were very personable. Explained that there was once a garbage disposal in the kitchen that was removed and I had an electrician make sure that everything was setup to install another one again. Showed them the leaky faucet situation and lack of cutoffs (which was forgotten by my last plumber). One guy started on the garbage disposal and the second guy worked on the cutoffs and faucet (I supplied the disposal and faucet). The disposal, cutoffs and faucet were installed in no time and I have found no leaks or issues. They cleaned up after themselves and the additional charge for the cutoffs, etc, was very reasonable. I am 100% happy with their work and will use them again in the future.

My kitchen sink was clogged. With what, who knows. The usual home remedies didn't work so I started calling for quotes. I saw Hessco (Mr. Mike Hess) on Angies with good ratings and I was in no way sorry. They answered my call on the first call. They quoted me for the basic repair (extras are ALWAYS extra). I wanted them to come and fix the problem and he gave me an approximate time. He then called to let me know he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. They took off their shoes and laid down floor covering near the sink. They fixed the problem, cleaned up, gave good advise on how to keep the plumbing clean and clear, and handed me a bill right on quote! He and his assistant (Conrad) were quick, curteous, professional, and all you could ask for in a plumber. I highly recommed them and (though I want my plumbing to never clog again) will call for certain the next time things go wrong!

It was very reasonably priced because we've had it done before. He actually reconfigured the outflow system to make it a lot more efficient. We had no idea that there was a better way. We believe that was most of the problem in how it was running. He did that on his own and he did it very inexpensively. It was a decent price. We will definitely call them again for any water or plumbing problems. They were very good on cleanup. They took out anything that was waste. I had to call him in the middle of the night when the sump pump failed. He called me back at 4 am.

Mr. Hessco was very prompt and efficient in helping me. We set an appointment two days after I called him, he came and looked at what was needed and was able to perform the services at the same time. He was quick and efficient and very affordable. I will definitely keep him in mind for any future plumbing needs.

They were to fix my garbage disposal but when they took a look at it nothing ended up being wrong. They were on time for the service. They were also very nice. He did not charge me since nothing was wrong but I made sure to ask since he did come out. I asked many questions about the disposal and he was able to answer all of them. He gave me a card for any future issues.

We have been very happy with Mike's work since purchasing the 2 hours of labor through one of the Big Deal's. He shows up on time, stands by his work and we will continue to use him for all of our plumbing needs.

They were fine. I ended up paying more than the $79 special because they said I needed something extra and it would be more. They were average across the board. They came and did the work and they left. They were nice. I probably would not use them again however because of the cost.

We had used Hessco previously for a faucet problem as a result of an Angie's List Big Deal, and had been very pleased with their advice and service, so when I could see that the backup sump pump battery was not going to last through the sustained power outage, I called Mike. It was early in the morning, but he was already at work on another job and made it to my house in three hours, for which I was very grateful since this was an emergency situation to avoid basement flooding. He had to go several places to even find a battery because of the hurricane demands, but he quickly got the work done, gave me good advice for how to continue to cope until the power returned, and came back later in the day to check to see if I needed another battery. (Thank goodness, by then we did have power.) We will definitely use Hessco again--in fact I have already ordered an additional backup battery through them.

They did a great job! Mike is the right man for the job. I was missing one part, but they had it in the truck so that I didn't have to go to the store. They even gave me an upgraded drain. They cleaned up and took everything away that needed taking away including boxes.

Service performed as expected. Although, I really dislike when HVAC and Plumbers feel entitled to slap a sticker on my appliances or in this case write their name and number on my water tank in permanent marker. Especially when they were there to change an exterior hose faucet not install or service my water tank.

Mike is one of the most responsive, prompt, professional, and trustworthy service providers we have ever had the pleasure to know. His prices are fair, he personally supervises helpers, and we trust him implicitly with the key to our home to perform work when we are away. We highly recommend Hessco to anyone for any work that they are licensed to conduct.

First called Hessco after using another plumber who could not seem to figure out the problem. Hessco told me to call the faucet company for the parts since it would be under warranty. When I received the parts, I called again, they came out very promptly, and fixed the faucet quickly. I would not have known about the warranty if Hessco had not helped with that, and the parts from Moen made the whole project less expensive. They were efficient and professional, and I will definitely use this company for plumbing needs in the future.
