The work was scheduled on the day I requested, the technicial arrived on time, did his work, and cleaned up. A very uneventful operation (this is good!).

They were extremely honest, do good quality work, and very timely.

I found them on Angie's list. Overall I was satisfied with the services provided.

The guy was nice. He was here on time. They called the night before to remind us. They were prompt.

Ken was professional, courteous, explained what he was doing, and gave recommendations and options for servicing and repair. Ken covered everything and didn't leave a speck of soot upon completion. He was also an enjoyable personality. He had fun with my 4 year old grandson and taught him about chimney sweeping. My grandson was very interested. I also enjoyed chatting with Ken. The icing on the cake was the little chimney sweep figurine that Ken gave my grandson.

Ken came out and inspected the chimney in a new house my wife and I just bought. He was punctual, courteous, and straght-forward. In our case, the chimney liner and structure was in great shape. Ken was able to determine this fairly quickly. He explained to me what to watch out for in the future and showed me how the "heat-a-lator" fan worked. I received an Angies List discount, too. I was impressed enough by Ken's knowledge and professionalism, that I scheduled him to look at the chimney at our other (rental) house. The news there wasn't as good, but we knew there were serious issues. Ken offered up about five different repair solutions, including a few in which he would make no money. I felt no pressure. My wife and I have yet to make a decision on the repair route we take, but feel very good about our decision to choose Abbey Road Chimney Sweeps. I would recommend them to others.

Curt from Abbey Road Chimney Sweeps cleaned my Buck Stove insert and chimney. He did an excellent job and kept the whole fireplace area clean while he was working. He was very professional and I plan to use Abbey Road again next time I have my fireplace cleaned.

Technician was running about a half hour behind. He called to let me know and to be sure it was still ok to do the service that day. He looked things over thoroughly and explained the services before he began work. We didn't realize our raincover needed to be replaced until we looked at it that day, but he had a replacement on the truck. The actual cleaning expense was $150 and the new raincover (with lifetime warranty) was $135 including installation.

Abbey road estimated over the phone that it would cost $900 to $1,000 but they would have to come out to measure and there would be a $75 fee due if I decided to not proceed with the work. It took several weeks to get an appointment scheduled and when they came out they said they would have to use scaffolding to replace the chase and the cost would be $2,100. I paid them their $75 fee and told them I would have to get additional estimates given the price had gone up so drastically. I found another vendor on Angie's list and they have quoted the labor and materials at $950 and they came out free of charge to measure and give the estimate.

The technician quickly fixed the damper door problem and inspected the fireplace. He was also able to offer a lot of insight into good choices for insulating the fireplace, purchasing gas fireplace components, and improving ventilation for the fireplace.

Two people came--arrived on time, set to work immediately, covered my surrounding room with cloths, were very efficient in doing the job of vacuuming out the chimney with control of all the dust and soot that was inside. One person placed the chimney caps on the top of the chimney while the other vacuumed the chimney. They clearly knew what they were doing, did it efficiently, and gave me information about the liner, etc. which I found very helpful. Finished within 45 minutes. I would definitely call them again.

he was very knowledgeable. He knew that it wasn't really a fireplace but that someone burned a gas log in there in the past. He told us we could move some of the cover that we didn't need, and that we could open it up so we can burn candles in it.

I hired them to come and clean and inspect my chimney. They cleaned it out, vacuuming and everything, and they did a great job. They left no mess behind - they cleaned up every speck of dust and dirt. They advised me on some problems with my chimney, and while they gave me a quote for what they would charge to do the services, they also told me how I could do a half-way job of it myself by buying some simple stuff at Home Depot. I was impressed that they didn't do a hard sell on me (as so many other service people do) but rather gave me all my options up front, including DIY. I will definitely hire these same guys next year. I highly recommend Abbey Road Chimney Sweeps.

We were able to get an appointment within a couple weeks (at a very busy time of year for chimney sweeps!). They were prompt, professional and great to work with. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and asked if we could move it up because they had a cancellation before us. Ken came out to our house and discovered that he didn't need to run a camera up in the chimney to inspect it because it was lined with stainless steel and in very good shape. So, that saved us some money. He cleaned the chimney and made sure to clean up after himself. We were really pleased with the experience from start to finish.

Sweep showed up right on time. Was very pleasant and very professional. We got into an extended conversation - off topic - but very enjoyable. No problem with that. He cleaned the chimney and fireplace from inside and was very clean - no dirt or mess at all. I was a little disappointed in the "inspection" part as he did not go onto the roof. He told me he didn't need to. I believe I was charged $75 for his "ground level" look, and if so, that is excessive in my opinion.

They were very thorough, very professional, as well as prompt and honest in their evaluation of our chimney. They truly went the extra mile for us!

He was on time. He called to ask if it was ok to show up a little earlier. He inspected both chimneys and gave us a good description of our chimneys conditions. He was honest to confirm that our basement chimney didn't need cleaning and gave us some suggestions since we are not using it much. He cleaned the 1st level chimney and pointed were some basic caulking needed to be done. Very clean work with his large vacuum and large floor covering. I was expecting more dust. I did notice a very light-smoky-dusty smell (my husband couldn't smell anything) but I was expecting much more odors and dust from a chimney cleaning. Even the floor can go another week with no cleaning!

They are great. They are very clean. He is not done with the work but I have seen what he has done. So far so good. I will continue to use them in the future I am very happy with them.

I thought that they did a really good job and they made sure that none of the debris got all over my carpet. The price was really reasonable and fair. I like that they stuck to the price they quoted me and didn't try to up the price.
