Description of Work: Replaced both springs, rod, brackets. Lubed and checked the mechanism.I was able to schedule the visit in 2 days. Originally the technician was going to replace just a broken spring (quoted $85). Then he realized that the whole assembly was badly rusted. Took him a while to remove and get the door open so I can take the car out. The other guy came in two days with parts and finished the repair. |Both guys advised me about the door condition and whether we need a new door soon. Also pointed out that the door is not the right height for the opening. Overall, seemed knowledgeable and professional, not pushing any extra service. |My only complaint is that the first visit was scheduled in the morning but did not happen until late afternoon. I had to call at noon to find out what's going on. I'm OK with it as long as the work is done correctly but would be nice to get a warning. |Also I asked to get an estimate for a new door but nobody called back. No big deal, this usually happens with other contractors.

Description of Work: I called Action Door and the technician was at my home in about 4 hours. I received a call when he was on his way and he arrived as promised. The problem was a simple fix and he completed the work in an efficient manner. He also did some routine maintenance of the garage door. I will definitely call Action Door again.

Description of Work: Contacted several dealers after my current opener died after 40 years and visited their showrooms. Action Door convinced me that the belt drive was a better choice than the screw drive I had currently.....belt guaranteed for life and opener quieter. They gave me an estimate that was very competitive. They were delayed on installationi due to big snow storm but came out the next week and installed a new door and opener in less than a day, explained the operation and cleaned up. Very happy with their service and people.

Description of Work: Our electric garage door (about 10 years old) was binding, reversing direction unexpectedly, etc. Still mostly functional, but becoming less reliable. Action Door sent a tech out. He adjusted the track, lubricated various things, and replaced one roller. The door works much much better now.
