Description of Work: We had a serious leak in a bay window ceiling and an aging roof. We contacted West Side Roofing for an estimate for both the emergency work to fix the leak and the longer range work to replace the roof. Within 24 hours, Jesse had contacted us and provided us with an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The immediate leak problem work was scheduled based on our availability not theirs. Jesse called to confirm the appointment and the crew was out right on time. They completed the work in less than a day and left the site spotless! Because this is an older home, the access to the leak and replacement work was very difficult with lots of obstacles. The crew left the site without a trace. Jesse made a follow up visit to inspect the repair and discuss the work. He has left the scheduling of the remaining roof replacement decision with us...once again based on our availability, not theirs. Best of all, during the rain and record wind speeds we experienced last week, the bay window remained dry! What a relief!!!! My husband and I highly recommend this company and look forward to completing the roof replacement project with them in the spring. We made our decision to use West Side Roofing based on the outstanding reviews they received here on Angie's List. We enthusiastically add our recommendations to the community too.

Description of Work: Replacement of a skylight. I got another quote which was twice as much. Jesse was responsive and informative. He kept me up to date on installation which had to be delayed due to the weather. They arrived on time and were pleasant and cleaned everything up. I would use them again.

Description of Work: My roof sustained hail damage from a storm in May. My Insurance Company approved a new roof with complete tear off and skylight replacement. I was contacted by several roofing companies interested in doing the work and I also researched many other companies. A co-worker recommended West Side Roofing, and I choose them to do the work based on their ratings on Angies List, BBB, and also because they have been in business since 1931. West Side's estimate also came in substantially lower than other estimates and they also offered extras (new attic fan, longer ridge vents) then the other companies. The work has now been completed and I am pleased with how everything turned out. The workers were very professional and did a quality job, they even took the extra step of removing siding in several places to ensure proper installation. As I am also a Residential Insurance Inspector I tend to be picky about any work done on my home, and the owner (Chris Spacek) was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. West Side is also the only roofing company that I have ever seen use a dumpster that is raised right to the roofline so that no mess is created during tear-off. The crew also took great care in making sure my yard was protected and the yard looked exactly as it did before the job started. I would recommend West Side Roofing based on their quality, pricing, responsiveness and I would use them again in the future if I ever need another roof.

Description of Work: I had a roof leak in a new addition to our house that was caused by ice dams forming on the old part of the roof. Westside was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and proposed the most comprehensive plan to fix it. The cost was reasonable and similar to another bid for less work. They came out when they said they would, did the job in a day and cleaned up nicely.
