Description of Work: Requested quote to replace existing furnace and central air that was installed by original Donnelly and was on its last legs. The Guy they sent was extremely condescending and talked to us like we were children. Plus we learned from another vender we used that the unit that we were replacing was a smaller unit than what the original invoice from Donnelly indicated they installed. We are much happier with the firm we ended up using.

+ -1 moreWe regret very much we hired this company, did not research it or have Angie's List at the time we hired. There are so many good reputable companies out there that offer much better warranties and we should have taken our time finding one but we had just purchased our house and had a lot of painting to do and were in too much of a hurry. Someone suggested Original Donnelly and we just went with them without doing the research. Stupid mistake.
Description of Work: Installed new central air in 2005. Worked for almost a year, had a leak--was told "lucky it's still under the 1 year warranty". Fall 2007, unit froze. Called for service. Technician did not find leak and just put coolant back in and charged $122.00. June 2008 unit would not cool--obviously there was a leak and all the coolant was gone. Did not want to pay for further service with this company and waste yet more money. Called another company to fix and cost an additional $400.00 for lots of coolant and service fee.

+ -1 moreMr. Donnelly and his employees were professional, patient and kind with my Aunt who is 84, and repaired her boiler. The basement where the boiler was needed cleaning and cluttering before they could service the boiler. Mr. Donnelly came back to work on the boiler after the basement cleaning. I didn't really think he would return to work on the boiler. I'm so glad he did.
Description of Work: They repaired my Aunt's boiler. They prepared the boiler for winter, then it stopped working. They came back and replaced old parts and got it running again.

They have always been efficient and arrive within 1 hour of scheduled time. The service techs are always pleasant & tell me exactly what the problem is what they will do the cost.

I THANK THEM.
Description of Work: I DISCOVERED A LEAK IN THE AIR CONDITIONER HOSE. IT WAS ABOUT 9PM DURING A RAIN STORM. THE SERVICEMAN CAME OUT IN ABOUT 1/2 HOUR & REPAIRED THE LEAK. HE HAD TO CLEAN & REPAIR A BROKEN COND. LINE.

THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY JUNK AROUND OR MESSES, AND THEY TOOK EVERYTHING OUT AS THEY DID THE WORK. THEY WERE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL COMPANY, AND THE BEST OUT OF MANY THAT WE INTERVIEWED. MY INITIAL PHONE CALL WAS PROMPTLY RETURNED, AND THE SERVICE WAS SCHEDULED WITHIN A WEEK OF MY CALL. THE TWO YOUNG MEN WHO DID THE WORK WERE PROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. I AM THRILLED WITH THE RESULTS, AND WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM FOR FUTURE JOBS. THEY ARE THE BEST!!
