Description of Work: We had Meehans for snow plowing for my elderly father in Brook Park and we got the service for the driveway hand shoveling for the sidwewalks. They always came at appropriate times with the brutal winter we had last year it was well worth it and they did an excellent job. We will use this service in the future.

Description of Work: I chose to use Meehan lawn services for snow removal this year. Due to a fence near my driveway, they were unable to plow, so I selected the snowblower option, where they also shovel the pathway and sidewalks. No complaints to date, they even showed up on Thanksgiving day to clean off the driveway. My first time using this type of service, so far I am quite satisfied.

I SUBMITTED ANOTHER ANGIE`S LIST REPORT ON THIS UNDER THE LAWN AND YARD WORK CATEGORY IF YOU`D LIKE TO READ IT.
Description of Work: MEEHANS COMES OUT 5 TIMES A YEAR TO FERTILIZE MY LAWN. I HAVE USED THEM FOR 5 YEARS AND TRUST THEM COMPLETELY. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A LETTER EXPLAINING EXACTLY WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND WHY. I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT IS A SMALLER, LOCALLY OWNED COMPANY.

 + -1 moreI MADE WHAT HAD TO BE MY FOURTH PHONE CALL ABOUT THE BED EDGING IN JULY. I FINALLY GOT THEM TO SEND SOMEONE OUT. THE GROUND WAS QUITE HARD BY THEN DUE TO THE DROUGHT. THEY TRIED VERY HARD TO DIG THE TRENCHES BY HAND. IT WAS HOT, HARD AND IMPOSSIBLE. I AGREED TO LET THEM STOP FOR THE DAY AND COME BACK WITH A MACHINE THE NEXT DAY. THEY DID. IF I HAD NOT WATCHED THEM WORK SO HARD ON MY YARD, I WOULD NOT HAVE BELIEVED HOW MUCH ENERGY WENT INTO IT. IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T LOOK VERY GOOD.
Description of Work: I GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR BED EDGING IN APRIL. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE DONE NO LATER THAN MEMORIAL DAY. I UNDERSTOOD THAT THERE WAS AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF RAIN IN MAY AND THAT THEM BEHIND. MEMORIAL DAY CAME AND WENT. NO ONE CALLED TO SAY THEY WERE BEHIND SO I CALLED AND ASKED WHEN THEY WOULD BE COMING OUT. I WAS TOLD BY THE SECOND WEEK OF JUNE. I WENT OUT OF TOWN FOR A MONTH AND ASSUMED THAT IT WOULD BE DONE WHILE I WAS GONE. IT WAS NOT.
