We have used Jimmy and Licaro Builders for 3 large projects over the last 4 years. We have been thrilled with everything Jimmy has done for us. Our master bath was a complete gut and redesign and it ended up being better homes and gardens worthy (according to several visitors!). Our laundry room was fitted with custom made cubbies for our 4 kids and is a wonderful addition to our home. We plan on using Jimmy in the next year or two for 2 other bathrooms and our kitchen. We highly recommend Jimmy. He wants everything perfect for his customers. His craftsmen are wonderful (the tile work in our shower is sublime). Jimmy took the time to explain things, meet us at vendors to help pick our tile/granite/cabinets. We were very pleased.

Jimmy and his team were, as always, excellent in all aspects of the work. Jimmy is a very communicative and collaborative GC, who listens to what the homeowner wants and then works to design and propose very workable and appealing solutions. We're beyond pleased with the transformation of the space, and what felt like a thrown together space in the basement now feels like a place where friends and family can gather for entertaining. In addition, the office space that was revamped is a much more comfortable and appealing space in which to get things done. Jimmy communicates throughout the process, ensures that the client weighs in on decisions, and checks up frequently on progress to ensure everyone involved is satisfied.

I am very happy with the service. The basement is finished and looks completely different. Jimmy is a very nice person to work with. He always responses to my email/text message/phone call. He has well prepared contract and invoices that list all the details . The works are done well and they always clean up afterwards. We had an unexpected water leaking problem in the basement and Jimmy helped me find a good waterproofing company that fixed the problem with a reasonable price. Will definitely hire him again !

I called Licaro Builders and left a message with the receptionist for the work we want done. Jimmy LiPuma was very responsive; he tried several times to contact me and left messages each time. When we finally did connect, he said that, while he did not do wallpaper removal and painting, he works with a painter who does and he would call the painter to see if the painter would be interested. Mr. LiPuma got back to me and said that his painter was not interested and gave me another lead to follow. I am very happy to find someone who is so professionally responsive and will call him for some larger future work we plan to do.

Very well. Many companies say they're all about "customer service" but Jimmy LiPuma at Licaro truly is. He demonstrated his commitment to our project from planning and budgeting to the final walk through. He was respectful of our budget and our time, very communicative and willing to discuss and explore options when we ran into obstacles (we only had a couple of bumps - no matter how well you plan there always are - but Jimmy and his team got them resolved quickly.) We look forward to working with him on any future projects!

It went great! They came in removed the wall, rerouted the electrical and performed the finish work on the job. They were very professional and came in and got the job done. The work is very professional looking and it looks like the house was built this way! We would definitely hire them again.

We are very pleased with the finished work and the entire experience. Jimmy from Licaro Builders, who managed the entire process, was very professional and thoroughly communicated with us throughout the entire project. All of the trades people, from the carpentry work, through electrical and drywall, were diligent, courteous, respectful of our home, and professional in their area of expertise. City inspections occurred throughout the construction at various phases (rough framing, electrical, drywall, and final) and more than one inspector commented positively on the quality of the work they were reviewing. At no time did we feel any sense of disappointment or concern ... but instead felt reassured that we made the right choice among several contractors we interviewed. Costs were in line and competitive, and we will certainly not hesitate to engage services from Licaro Builders if needed in the future.

We are so happy we chose Jimmy to remodel our kitchen. He was very attentive and proactively kept us informed of the status of the project. He kept things moving along and personally followed up to ensure the jobs were done to our satisfaction. His price was competitive. On a personal level, Jimmy is an honest, kind and friendly man. He offers many good suggestions and takes the time to talk through ideas. The kitchen is beautiful and we receive so many compliments. We couldn't be happier!

We are pleased with our master bathroom remodel. Jimmy is easy to work with and always professional. He is proactive and keeps the project moving forward. He was always here to introduce us to new workers that were arriving at our home. He listened to our needs and concerns and addressed any issues as they arose. He is very flexible with changing plans or adding to the project to assure that the results will be what you expect. The project cost a little more than expected, some due to our selections but the bathroom fixture allowance seemed to be low. Overall the estimation was pretty close. We would definitely recommend Licaro to our friends.

This is my family's second time working with Licaro Builders, and true to form, Jimmy and the subs he uses for specific trades took the time to understand our needs, propose functional and attractive options and completed the work in a timely, professional manner. Most importantly, for us, Jimmy is an attentive and engaged general contractor who ensures that things are on track and meeting expectations throughout the project

While I haven't fully committed to my kitchen project yet (strictly due to my own indecision on whether or not I'm staying in my home long term or not), I am compelled to share my current experience. This company, more specifically, Jimmy LiPuma is the best there is. If you're like me, you've had experiences where you've been burned by other contractors. Jimmy is one of a kind. He has all the characteristics you'd want in a contractor. He's fair, honest, dedicated, caring, committed, and the most trustworthy business person I've ever dealt with. I plan to use Jimmy on any and all my future remodel needs whether it's my current house or my next one. He really listens and takes time to understand his customer. He never pressures you to make a decision and provides really good and honest feedback. At the time I complete a project I will share more about the work, but I have no doubt or reservation I would be very pleased. I'm writing now because I know there are hundreds of companies out there. Call Jimmy. You won't be disappointed. He truly has exceeded my expectations in every way. My current estimate and quote was put together beautifully. Contained all the right details and specs. I could tell he put time and thought into every detail and worked with me every step of the way including helping me find the best value for my money on a granite selection. He also provided great tips on how to select the best sink, fridge, etc. The quote for the job was very fair and reasonable. He's extremely responsive and answers questions (and calms fears!) promptly, shares photos and really takes time to understand the customer's wants and needs. I found Jimmy through Angie's List and I'm so grateful that I did. He is a refreshing reminder of how to run a business! I am in the process of changing my project scope and he couldn't be any more patient or kind with me while I make my final decisions. I couldn't respect him or how he runs his business more.

We needed to convert our finished open basement into a beautiful penthouse apartment type space. Jimmy came in and spent a couple of hours with us discussing our goals, budget, and thoroughly reviewing the space prior to him developing a proposal. He quickly brought subcontractors in (electrician, plumber, etc) to walk the space and discuss our plans, and then provided us with a quote. This quote provided very reasonable allowances for product. We came in under budget on some items and over on others. This was a project on which we chose to spare no expense as this needed to be a well-lived living space for its occupant. Along those lines, every single subcontractor did impeccable work. From framing, drywall, carpentry, electric, plumbing, and tiling - the craftsmanship was top notch. Even the city inspectors noted what an outstanding job Jimmy and his team did on this project. We would not hesitate to hire Jimmy again and we give his name to everyone looking to do some remodel work. He is knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and so very accommodating. Everyone in our home loved working with him, and we are so thankful to have found him!

The entire project had taken several months, but it was worth it. My house is old, so there were problems hidden behind old walls, floors, and ceilings, but Jimmy pointed out the issues and they were flexible to my every desire. They were clean and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

I can not say enough about how pleased my son and I are with the work that Jimmy and his crew did. The quality of the work was outstanding and the pricing very competitive. They did the work in the timeframe promised and the communication was always excellent. We feel we got more than our money's worth and I would highly recommend Licaro Builders. This was my first ever home project as I am a new home owner and I couldn't be happier with the result. No home project, especially removing a load bearing wall is ever a quick process, but I can only assume that mine went as quickly and smoothly as a project of this size could have. The majority of our time was waiting on permits and resources. Once everything was scheduled the main work literally happened in the course of a single day! Subsequent visits from the carpenter and drywaller were necessary to put finishing touches on the walls/header. Amazing work from the gentlemen who were involved and everyone who comes over is always surprised to hear that a wall used to be there! Thanks again Jimmy!!

Jimmy LiPuma of Licaro Builders in a single word was Outstanding!!! The overall craftsman he brought in coupled with the quality of materials and workmanship was nothing short of superb!! Where Jimmy also shined was with his communications which was absolutely excellent. The overall project cost was also very competitive; particularly when you realize he has included many items that other contractors might later offer for an additional charge. It was a true pleasure to work with someone with such honesty and integrity as Jimmy. We will clearly use Licaro Builders in the future and give them a strong recommendation.

We had a great experience with Licaro Builders on this project. Jimmy and his team were fabulous. Polite, Courteous, Tidy, On Time, Great Workmanship We had Jimmy to look at several projects we were interested in tackling on our home. Jimmy was patient and listened to our requests. His input based on his experience as a builder was very helpful in making decisions on how to move forward. His level of communication was outstanding through out our first project. All members of the Licaro building team were just great. They touched base with us everyday and always took the time to answer our questions and confirm selections. After the project was complete and showers were used for a week, we found a couple of tweeks here and there that we wanted to make. Jimmy addressed all of our concerns quickly. We look forward to working with Licaro Builders on our next project this Spring.

This is a long overdue review, given how happy we are with the work that Jimmy and his team of subs performed for us. The thing to understand about Jimmy is that when he takes on a job, he personally takes it on. He's not the one doing all of the work-he has trusted, long term partners (subs) for that. But, when it comes time for inspections, contracts, changes, and reviews of the work-he is there. It was not uncommon to see him 3-4 times a week to go over the work that was done, answer questions, and follow with his guys if something was done on which we wanted clarification. Even in the places where we had hiccups-and any job of this size will have them-Jimmy was professional and action-oriented in terms of getting answers and resolving things. We've other changes planned for this house in the future, and I've no doubt that Jimmy will be at the top of our list when it comes time to look into that work.

Excellent! Jimmy LiPuma is excellent. I have a contract with them. He took us to the granite place and helped us so much. He is with you during all steps of the process. They put up garage doors. They are truly an excellent company and Jimmy is a wonderful person. We still having work done with them.

Jimmy was great to deal with. I felt he was fair with me on price as we had 4 other estimates for the same work that were came in higher than his. It took about 6-8 weeks to get on his calendar from the time we agreed upon the work however he communicated very well in the interim as to start dates,etc. The job took just about 2.5 weeks or so and during this time his staff was very courteous and friendly. They did good work too! Also over that time my wife or would have questions or want to make a change in the plans and Jimmy was easy to get in touch with and returned my calls promptly. Finally he was always checking in to make sure we were satisfied with the way things were going. Quality guy. I just sent him a request through Angie's List to look at redoing our Master bath.

Called to have them come out and give me an estimate on work I needed done. Someone did come out, but told me that he needed his carpenters to stop by to give an accurate estimate of the work to be completed. That was over a week ago. I called two days ago and left a message and I still have not heard from them. I can understand that my job may not have been a big one but a courtesy call would have been nice.

This was a complicated job because we wanted to reconfigure the cabinets and realign the original off-kilter peninsula, but did not want to replace the original tile floors. Owner Jimmy LiPuma walked us through everything and was hands-on every day of the installation. The work crews (carpenters, electricians, granite and tile installers, and plumber) were all very courteous and professional, arriving on time and cleaning up every day. We love our new kitchen! Quality of installation was flawless. The new peninsula required a bit of custom carpentry and a uniquely shaped granite top, all perfectly executed. We are completely satisfied with the results.

Jimmy and team accomplished an incredible renovation in 9 weeks - just one week longer than the original estimate. The work is absolutely beautiful. Every one of the contractors Jimmy used was polite, helpful, flexible and responsive to my questions and change requests - not to mention talented. They were all very respectful of the fact that I work from home. Jimmy was at the job nearly every day, and extremely responsive to my phone calls, emails and texts. He was great about offering suggestions, but I never felt pushed to increase the scope of the job or go over my own budget when purchasing fixtures. Jimmy took the time to listen to every concern I had about the bathroom, in particular, and the needs of my disabled spouse. The renovation could not have turned out better; we are both thrilled with the result. I would use Licaro Builders again and would not hesitate to recommend Jimmy and team to others. This is a friendly, easy-to-work with group of people who made this project fun despite the disruption!

I found Jimmy on Angie's List, and picked him because of his straight "A" reviews. Jimmy LiPuma is the most honest contractor you will ever meet in your life. When Jimmy gives you an estimated cost of work, he will stick to it. Jimmy aggressively shopped for the best price/value of all materials and passed all the savings back to us. If he was able to get a better price on something, he would give a credit back to us. All the cabinets and granite counter tops were bought by Jimmy, with zero profit to himself. In fact, in a testament to his excellent character, he accidentally ordered 4 base cabinets that were a couple of inches too wide, which ended up being unreturnable and ate the cost himself. Even though the entire project took longer than anticipated, Jimmy was extremely attentive to all the details; he would be at the job site almost on every day that work was being done, and if not, he would always give me a call with a heads up with what was going on. Jimmy dealt with all of our add-ons and change order requests like a champ. I am extremely pleased with the way the exercise room, home office, closets, and hardwood floors came out. There were a few hiccups along the way (which should be expected in any home remodeling project), but all were taking care of swiftly and in a professional manner.

After discovering water and ant damage to my load bearing wall I had three contractors come to my home and tell me everything that they could not do. I found Licaro builders on Angies List. Jimmy LiPuma called me right back, responded the next day for an estimate to rebuild and remodel my family room. Jimmy was very professional and informed me and my wife that what we wanted done would be no problem and the work could be completed in two weeks. Jimmy and his crew (Joe and Tony) were all professional the job was completed as promised. Jimmy arrived daily to answer any and all questions. His crew was outstanding, arriving on time and keeping the jobsite clean. We could not be more impressed with their work. We will definitely being using Licaro Builders again, when we our ready for are kitchen remodel.
