Everything went smoothly. The different tradesmen couldn't have been nicer. There was a lot of work undertaken. Just taking up the old tile floor in the front hall took 4 guys three days. They offered suggestions. They arrived on time and worked hard all day. They put up plastic to keep the rest of my house as clean as possible. The tile setters had to overcome a 1/2 inch drop to my front hall floor. Every piece of molding that was taken off was labeled and put back perfectly. I was more than satisfied. I chose Jimmy to head up my remodeling project because he was the first person that actually listened to what my plans were, what some of my ideas were and most importantly what my budget was. He made suggestions that saved me money, which I am sure anyone reading this will appreciate. He was with me every step of the way. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish.

The owner and his employees were professional from start to finish. The owner came to every appointment on time. The work started and finished on time and as specified. There were some minor changes to the plan and we were treated fairly in the price adjustment. The owner was present on the job site and it was clear he was supervising the work. All was done to our satisfaction. We would use this company again and would recommend them to others.

Mr. LiPuma met with me to determine the parameters of the project and estimate the costs involved. He was very professional, quite honest in his approach to the project, and open to customer suggestions. He declined to move forward on the project, however, as his schedule was already fairly tight, and the project we wanted was quite large.

We contact Jimmy LiPuma from Licaro Builders to come out and provide us a quote on our basement remodel. Jimmy is very professional, courterous and prompt. He returned calls when he said he would and is a man of his word. Our build started on June 4th and completed around the beginning of July. There was nothing but the bare walls (cinder block) in our basement. He added a media room, kitchen and a workout room. This was a big undertaking and something that we had been dreaming about doing for the last 10 years. Jim and his crew were there whenever we had a question and or wanted to change something that wee had previously decided on. His crew is top notched. They showed up when they were said they would show up, they cleaned up behind themselves and do awesome work. We are thrilled with the outcome of our room and would utilize Licaro Builders and Jimmy LiPuma again in the future.

Jimmy LiPuma was very professional and courteous. He was punctual. When we had an appointment, he was there on time. Jimmy came out to look at our extensive home improvement project and offered many good suggestions, and money-saving ideas. After our meeting, Jimmy would email me pictures and examples of some of the things that we had spoken about doing in our home. Jimmy came back out to the house about a week later with floor plans and a very reasonable estimate on the work. He had all of the paperwork neatly organized in a folder including tips on choosing the right contractor for the job, which says a lot for his integrity. I had a total of five different Angie's List contractors bid for the job, all of which were good, but he was by far my top choice. Jimmy went above and beyond in hearing what we wanted , and fulfilling our needs in the most economical way possible. We have put our home improvement project on hold for now, but he definitely will be our choice for any work that will be done in the future, and I would refer him to anyone wanting quality work at an affordable price.

Jimmy was great to work with. He listened to our concerns and ideas and came up with a plan that kept costs low but didn't take away from the quality we were looking for. He was always dependable and trustworthy and the workers he employes reflect the same level of professionalism. We felt very comfortable with his workers in our home and they became like another member of our family. Jimmy always kept us informed of the progress and would stop by often to make sure the project was coming along well and to our liking. We were very pleased with the quality of workmanship by everyone involved and really enjoyed our experience with Licaro Builders. We would recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for a remodel and definately would use him again without reservation.

We could not have asked for a better experience. Jimmy LiPuma spent a lot of time with us going over our plans, offered many good ideas, and gave us the most reasonable quote of four received, even after adding the cost of painting. He was very responsive - always kept us informed, always answered phone calls and emails, and was on site every day. His crew was courteous, professional, and very neat. Custom trim work for the new window sill and fireplace mantle tier was great. Carpenters Tony and Joe were careful to install and finish drywall so we could avoid painting the ceiling or installing crown moldings. The job was completed a few days ahead of a very tight schedule, and under budget due to an allowance for the unused crown molding. We are completely satisfied with the work.

Contractor took great care to see that work was done correctly and to offer suggestions where appropriate. I would use him again without reservation. His workers were efficient, timely, and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

The job was to remodel a small 4' x 8' guest bathroom. I contacted Licaro Builders after finding them here on Angie's List. First, I must say that Jimmy LiPuma was very easy to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way. He communicated well...He was available when I called him, and he called me to keep me updated about the delivery of the new shower enclosure and door as well as when the crews would be arriving to do work on any given day. There were 3 different crews that came in to do the work and they were all very easy to work with. I knew when to expect them and they always arrived on time. One crew of 2 or 3 guys did the demolition, general carpentry and finish work, the other did the plumbing and shower installation and the third did the tile floor and molding course. They factored a delay into their schedule to give me a few days to paint the room, before the tile work was done. They all did very good work and I would have them back again should the need arise. I am very pleased with my new bathroom!

Jimmy was wonderful to work with. He took the time to get to know us and helped us make decisions based on our family's needs. He was there to his word on everything and the workers he used were professional and did a quality work.

Licaro Builders, through Jim LiPuma, have done work for me on a number of occasions, both before and after the remodeling that was done in 2007. This was the biggest project. I moved into a home that was just a few years old, and I wanted to finish the basement, create a dedicated theater room, full bath, office, and finish a room upstairs. The builder, who was still building homes in the development, had given me a price of approximately $80,000. I decided to call Licaro, and the complete job was done for just over $50,000. In all respects, the work was impeccable, and I remain greatly gratified that I saved the money I did. Licaro had previously, in my former home, remodeled my kitchen (adding granite countertops and granite floor tile), so I was dealing with someone who had my trust and confidence. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any home improvements. Jim has exceptional trade workers available, and knows how to keep the customer happy.

Jim was very responsive and his quote was very reasonable for the work we wanted completed in our home. After working with Jim we decided to sell the house vs. having him complete the upgrades to our two bathrooms. If it was not for us selling the home, I would have hired Jim to complete the remodel. Jim suggested the best options for our remodel and actually talked us in to doing less upgrades then we initially wanted to have done. His comment was "its not worth spending the money if you plan to move soon". It was a pleasure to work with Jim and I would not hesitate to hire him for a future bath or kitchen remodel job.

Mr. LiPuma started on time everyday and finished the job in a timely fashion. He was very friendly, courteous and accommodating to all our needs. He stayed hands on with the project from start to finish, at our home daily making sure that his tradesmen were there on time and working hard. All the tradesmen were very neat and cleaned up after themselves everyday. Our kitchen was under construction for 3 weeks and we were able to function as a family with everything that was happening. Overall Licaro Builders went above and beyond all of our expectations and we will be calling them when we are ready to remodel our bathrooms.
