They arrived on time.They took their shoes off when they came in the house, which impressed me. They were very nice and professional. They hooked everything up not just my TV. They hooked up my cable box, DVD player, and our sound bar. Our sound bar stopped working after they left, due to a defect in the sound bar. We took it back and exchanged it. We called Matt ( one of the installers that was at my home) and he walked me through the set up on the phone. I thought that was very nice of him. The only thing I question is why he didn't center the TV. I didn't notice it when he was here.

After the coupon was purchased I emailed them asking for someone to contact me to set up an appointment. I received responses stating he would call me. I never received any calls. Eventually a date and time was agreed upon via email.The guys came out and did a quick and efficient job, including vacuuming up the drywall dust.

Once connected and scheduled date for service, work was done to my satisfaction with professionalism.

No work was performed and no estimate given.

Kevin and Ben from Wain Security arrived at 8:06am to hang my TV on the wall. Very professional, asked how high I wanted the TV hung. They measured the wall and drilled the holes in the wall, put the wires inside the wall as I asked them to do. They cleaned up during and after they hung the TV. Very friendly. I was very satisified with the work they did.

Everything went extremely well. All of the components were part of a complicated system at a previous residence. When they were "taken apart" to be moved, all of the parts were there, but put in separate boxes - with no remotes. The guys sorted out the wires, remounted a failed attempt at mounting one of the tv's, asking all along the way about placement, etc. before they finalized anything. Clearly knowledgable, very professional and friendly. Did a great job - everything works as it should. Couldn't be more pleased.

Our appointment was from 10 - 12 and we received a call at 9am asking if it would be alright to come 30 minutes early. Matt and folks arrived punctually at 9:30. What I liked first off was that he immediately put those blue plastic shoe covers on his feet so as not to dirty our house at all. It's little things like this that impress me. We originally tried to do this ourselves but could not find the studs. I don't feel so bad now as Matt couldn't find them either as it turns our where we were mounting the wall didn't have any. His stud finder "found" studs" about where we had drilled. He first thought we had just missed until he drilled and didn't get a stud either. i Time to get creative. And Matt did. Before he did anything he asked about the cables again (we talked about them on the appointment call as well so it wasn't a surprise). We agreed that we would buy them and have him run them down through the back of the wall and out near the baseboards to our equipment. So what he did is first drill the whole where the wire box would go and used that to have better sight into what was going on which is where we confirmed 1) no studs, 2) plasterboard drywall, 3)gap behind the plasterboard drywall to 4) cement. This gave the guys enough to work with. In the end, it took and hour and a half to get the tv mounted. The TV looks great where they mounted it and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. The took the extra step to make sure that the remote was working with the TV so we could actually watch TV. I am pleased with the service received for the amount we paid.

I purchased the flat panel TV mount as a gift for my daughter and her husband for the new 55" TV they had purchased for Christmas. Being just short of 2 weeks before Christmas we had little hope of having it mounted but A Sound Alternative made it happen. I contacted them via Angie's email and received a call the same day. I was very fortunate that they happened to have an appointment in my daughters area on Monday and was willing to take on another TV mount ! According to my son-in-law they arrived on time, were quick and did a great job. Can't thank them enough for making an effort to fit us in, price was great (used coupon) and the television looks wonderful.

Very poor customer service experience with poor follow up and poor follow through. Also the $99 deal is misleading. I would not use this service again to purchase a deal.

The guys were fantastic. Very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. They did the work and I am very pleased as to how the speakers look and work. I would definitely use them again.

Very well, but I wish I had a pre-install consult to determine if this particular alarm system was right for my home.

It was an excellent price and good service. They did have some problems with the installation but came back to correct it. I have one big complaint, though. The instructions to operate the system are on a disc and I would much rather have them on paper where I can hold it. I am very satisfied with the system, but hate the disc.

Fantastic-timely, efficient.

Matt along with another tech wall mounted two 42 inch TVs and one wall mounted shelf. He did a great job of answering all questions. It took approximately 1.5 hours for them to complete the install. I am very please with the service he provided. They made sure to clean up once the job was complete.

They modified the contract as necessary, and they did a good job! Overall I would give my experience with them an A!

Matt is always very prompt, courteous and professional. He answers any questions and explains the costs, setup, installations thoroughly. When he installed our system, he discovered an issue with one of the door signals. He went the same day to the warehouse to grab a new part and returned after for completion of the install. Everything was done that day without further problems. We are very happy with his services and with the easy to use security system.

Matthew and his partner were very professional, on time and cleaned up before they left. Matthew tested the TV, DVR and DVD player to make sure they all worked after the installation. I highly reccomend this company.

I saw a BIG DEAL offer on Angie;s List for 2 hours of Audio work. Since i have had a flat screen for a few years already and had been putting off getting it mounted this was perfect timing. Matt was able to schedule me quickly . When he came out he mounted the bracket and did some drillling to hide the cables in the wall. Unfortunately they were not long enough to reach the units and Matt offered to order extensions and return to complete the job, It took about a week for the wires to come in but Matt was able to come out and complete the job, We are very happy with the finished project and are enjoying our flat screen without all those ugly wires showng.

They're very professional, and the service is fine. I get immediate responses when the alarm is triggered. The service gives me piece of mind.

We are very impressed with Matt Wain (owner) and his staff from 'A Sound Alternative/ Wain Security'. We purchased the Angie's List coupon for $99 flat panel installation plus the cost of the wall mount (which is a very fair and reasonable price per comparison). Matt was very personable, professional, prompt and knowledgeable. He (and a coworker) did the installation of our TV today, and cleaned up properly afterwards (and it looks great!). Communications were outstanding, as he responded promptly from email or phone call. In fact, he was able to fit us into his very busy schedule early due to a last minute cancellation, saving us 2 weeks of waiting. We are so impressed with the services and professionalism that we decided to also purchase and have them install a home security system next. We would not hesitate to recommend this company!

I first attempted to contact A Sound Alternative on Tuesday May 1, with a few questions regarding their specials they currently have going on with Angie's List, and on my first call, no one answered the phone, so I proceeded to leave a message asking for a return phone call. After not receiving a call back later that day, or the next day, I called back on Thursday May 3, and once again no one answered, so I left another message asking for a call back, and around 7 P.M. I did receive a call back and spoke to Matthew about the special. Matthew was polite and answered all of my questions and since I was asking to see about a install the following week, he told me that he would call me back the next day (Friday May 4) to see if anything was available and if we had decided to go ahead with the purchase. Friday came and no call, so I tried again on Monday May 7, and guess what, no one answered, I once again left a message with my name, phone number, and time of call, and as of now Wednesday May 9 I have not heard back from anyone at this company. Communication seems to be very poor with this company

Excellent service! Arrived on time. very helpful with installation and demo of unit. It performs as expected and we were very satisfied.

Matthew and Patrick were both great to work with. The initial install was quick and painless, as was the later addition of the window sensors. The system is so easy to use and can even be armed and monitored via iPhone or via web (alarm.com). I highly recommend the Simon XT alarm system and 'A Sound Alternative' to have it installed. I love the added security knowing my house is secure while I'm gone.

We have been very pleased with their service. The technicians did the work very well and cleaned up after themselves. They also were very cooperative because of illness (we had to delay the installation and reschedule it a couple of times); they were willing to do that. It’s been a good experience overall.
