Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning

We received a few quotes for a new furnace and AC, and Hauser was second to come out. They gave me all the information, and the units we chose to have quoted were very similar to our first quote, but with a different manufacturer. Once the representative had heard we already had a quote, the first thing he said was, "We probably won't be the cheapest." This struck me as odd. Then he gave me the quote and it was very high ($3000 more) than our first quote. He said there was a discount for paying in full and a discount for paying with a check instead of credit, but even with the discounts he was still $2000 over our first quote. He told me that he couldn't match the price we had received, but that he would talk with Mr. Hauser and give us a call back. We never heard from them again. Not great customer service in my opinion... We went with Air Authority and saved thousands.

Arrived within the window of time estimated. Received a picture of the employee before his arrival (very nice). He had a partner arrive to help after tanks were drained. Partner found a debit card in the yard belonging to someone else and gave it to us to turn in. The price was slightly more expensive than one of their competitors but they removed our second water heater for free. The competitor was going to charge for that service. Seriously considering using this company for replacing the air conditioner this spring.

Hauser installed my heating and air conditioning system about 5 years ago and they have always been a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

They’re not cheap but they do good work and give warranties in writing. They know what they’re doing and they get there on time.

They do good work. I've used them for three different jobs in the last 2 weeks. They are dependable and give a good warranty. My tenants were very happy and they came right out.

It was fine. My furnace had went out so he came out to look at it and see what was going on. He couldn't performed a tune-up because the heater was not working, but he did take a look to troubleshoot what was going on and then provide an estimate as to the cost to get it repaired. It was my first time using them. They were really nice, very informative, on time, polite and had great communication.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It was good. It went well. They were timely, they responded immediately, I called them I gave them the certificate number, they set up an install date, they came out, the installed and showed me how to operate it within an hour, two hours. The serviceman was nice, respectful. They were very quick. Left a call back number if there was any problems and information on the system. I looked around at others, they were within the market pricing including install. I don't know that it was a super deal when I looked at other whole house humidifiers and the labor involved. They were respectful, through, helpful, the service was good. It was real simple. For what it was they did real good. They were there when they were supposed to be.

They were prompt and did the job quickly. The job was basically as advertised. They were quick to respond, scheduled the job quickly, and everything went smoothly.

He was very good and I was very happy with the service! I am going to use him in the future. I like him better than who I have used in the past.

It was duct work and zoning. They had to put different zoning in my house. They had to run some duct work and put electronics in. The experience was great. They are not done yet. I am not ready for them yet. They are coming back. We are doing a whole house renovation and doing parts in stages. Everything is good.

I called in the morning and an hour later Chris B. showed up. He went straight up to the furnace, found the problem with the flame sensor and then cleaned it. He then checked our second furnace and made sure that sensor was clean as well. He answered my questions on whole home humidifiers. He said he would check back at his office to let me know what the best course of action would be regarding the installation of one in my home. Chris B. also informed me of Hauser's service plans. As I am trying to make my home more energy efficient, I opted to sign up for the one year service plan as a starting point. Thanks to Chris B. for all his help.

I corresponded via email and telephone with Bill a number of times regarding the specifics of the deal (installation details, make/model, etc.) -- Bill was exceptionally patient with me and answered all of my questions. A technician came over on Christmas Eve and installed the humidifier without incident (and even modified how it was installed to meet my requests). He even stayed longer to talk with my wife about some other HVAC issues in our house and provided some rough estimates. We were very pleased with the service, and we will certainly use Hauser again!

They provided cost estimates for installing a Heat Pump and Air Handler. Had to remind them to email the estimate, took too long and were very expensive. They also did not follow up with a call.

Hauser has been great. They did maintenance on our older furnace and A/C and when the time came to replace them, they did both of those jobs, too. They've done a great job fixing all of the weird heating and AC issues we had when we first bought our house and the new units have been maintained perfectly.

They are absolutely wonderful people to deal with. They did a fantastic job, and I really appreciated their honesty. They didn't overcharge me at all and I will be recommending them to my friends and family. Chris was the technician that came out and did the work and he was very helpful.

It was very easy from beginning to end. I purchased the service. I received a message on Angies list from the provider. I made a phone call to the provider to schedule the service & ask about the specifics of the service. I spoke to Bill Koepke and he was very eager to insure our happiness with the service. Joe came and installed the unit quickly & cleanly. I can tell that my air is less dry & am happy I did it.

They were courteous and professional. From taking my call, scheduling service, texting AND calling to let me know the technician was on his way, they were clearly customer-driven. Very satisfied from start to finish.

Bill did a great job cleaning the entire heating system.

One guy came out and he was very helpful. Everything was explained, even things that seemed unneccessary. I feel I got a great deal!

Excellent service, responsiveness, professionalism. Provider came to diagnose problem of house not warming and a smoky smell when he furnace would heat. Found the problem. Spent time needed to explain what was wrong and give a repair vs replace scenario and cost. I had many questions of the technician and the installer and both were willing to take the time I needed to make an informed decision. Both days the company reps were very respectful of my home, wore booties while in the house and cleaned up so it was better than when they arrived. From the phone calls (Jennifer and Barb) to technicians (Phil) to the installers (Mark and Zach), I could not have asked for more. Thank you Hauser!!

They were great. Arrived on time and extremely courteous and prompt. They cleaned up after their work. Everything went well.

Their estimate was a little high. There was a little confusion with the rebate. The girl we spoke with very nice but was new, so we understand the confusion.

Roy Hauser and Kristen came to the house and looked over our ailing furnace and air conditioner. The offered solutions for how our system could be improved, and discussed choices in types of heating/cooling, and various levels of component in each category. They wrote a detailed quote covering many options, and the quote had details not usually present in quotes for service. They offered higher capacity components (two stage AC) than competitive bids at the same price. We agreed on a price and verbally committed and they came THE NEXT DAY. On installation day, three servicemen came (Zach, Joe and Matt) with the utmost in professionalism. They removed the old units, relocated the AC unit to the far side of the house, removed any trace of where the old unit had been placed, built a new 240V circuit for the AC unit (on the side of the house away from the deck in back), and installed the new furnace and condenser, humidifier, air cleaner and UV hood light. They worked for 7 hours and the installation went without a hitch. Once they said they were done, you couldn't tell they had been there except the furnace had no dust on it :) BEST PART: Their analysis on unit sizing and duct modifications worked perfectly. Not two hours after turning on the AC, the house is move evenly cooled than in the 7 years we have lived here. And we can't hear anything other than a little airflow - a far improvement to the howling AC unit right under the kitchen window. Thanks for an excellent job!
