We are just very pleased with their company. It takes them about an hour to do their work every time they come. They are just very responsive whenever we call them. They have very professional and excellent workers. They know their business and explain things to you. They are just excellent and we are very happy with them. The repair was covered by the warranty as long as you have it checked twice a year.

Well, technician mentioned our furnace was clean and in very good condition, but didn't provide the specifics/data that allowed him to formilate a final judgement.

I started using their services when the business started out in the 1970’s with Mr. Hauser himself. His son Josh is the current salesman. Their prices are competitive to others. When I purchased the unit from them, they were able to save me a lot in costs and assist me with the energy credit from Duke energy. I have been very happy with their services and will still use them going forward.

I interviewed several companies. I liked Josh's approach and responsiveness to my numerous questions prior to our work agreement. They have a great reputation on Angie's list and they had just started doing geothermal installs. They didn't have many under their belts, and were eager to get my business, and their bid beat the competition. I knew I would be trusting them with a lot of money and I knew they were accountable, and would be accountable and upstanding. (a theme with the companies I find on Angie's list) There is a 30% government tax REBATE on geothermal that helps take the STING out of the big expense. Depending on your income level this rebate can take 2 years to recover. I was looking at replacing my heat pump and my furnace was 15 years old, and I just decided to go super efficient. The estimates said it would take about 7 years to pay for it with the money I would save in electric in the summer and not buying any more propane from Suburban propane (they owned the tank buried in my yard and so i HAD to buy propane from them at their price, OR Purchase the tank OR dig it up and give it back to them). Bucher drilling came out and spent the day drilling 5, 150 foot deep wells in my back yard. They later ran the loops together and connected them into my basement. Meanwhile, Hauser had a crew of four guys removing the old stuff and putting in the new system. The hot water heater wasn't ordered in time by Hauser, so we had to wait to get that installed. We were immediately happy with the quality of the AC, and the 2 speed blower with dehumidification. When heating was needed we found it good enough heating the house. We noticed 7 months later that they had removed our old humidifier and not replaced it so we made a call and Josh had a new one installed promptly. We had problems with the Hot water heater, where we would just get 100 degree water coming out of it (this happened in the spring and fall when the unit wasn't actively heating or cooling). We had the original guy who installed it twice, there and scratching his head, then finally we had a different employee out and he discovered the hot water heater was installed WRONG. He showed me the diagram in the manual. I agreed and he talked to Josh, and this guy was back and re-plumbed the whole thing correctly, no charge to me. Since then, we have had fantastic hot water, and our electric bills really went down even more. Like I said Hauser is a stand-up company that is committed to customer satisfaction.(I knew they were new at geothermal and they would stand by their work) Anyone who has had a major job done by a contractor knows mistakes happen, but its the accountability of the company that makes the end result work. It's really hard to get accurate savings estimates when you research geothermal. I pay less electric in the summer, but a lot more in the winter (especially this last winter was very cold), but I pay nothing else in propane (savings of around $2500) but an increase in electric of about $1000, so I've been saving about $1,500 per year, I'm sure that will fluctuate depending on how cold the winters here get. Also I had to pay a guy $1,000 to rehab the area after all the work was done, we waited 9 months for it to "settle," this was way more than I was expecting, and I think Hauser should include the rehab cost. It took 3 or 4 yards of dirt and a bobcat to grade the surface and re-seed everything. And I happily paid a guy to remove Suburban's propane tank!

I was really happy with them. They actually helped me save some money by recommending a more affordable model. They worked very quickly and cleaned up perfectly. Highly recommended!

I was happy with their service. Only one person came and he was enough to do all the work. He was pretty good. He was informative and very professional. He knew what he was doing and he had all the information that I needed explaining all the parts and its features.

It was good. They're "A". It's $80 a year to check the furnace and air conditioning. We've got a yearly contract with them.

We bought an add-on with our home insurance. We got a couple of thousand from the warranty and our out of pocket was $4,300. They were completely professional. They are a local company and they do a great job. We've had some issues with the actual mechanics of the Temp Star brand, which doesn't relate to their work. They have gone overboard with trying to resolve it. We are still not completely sure. Basically we put in this new efficient system that didn't save us any money on our electric bills. The bills don't cost any more but we have kind of questioned it. They expected it as well as the consumer expects it. We went to them because they are local and they were very thorough and professional when we met with them. We had a feeling of trust when we interviewed them. We met with 5 or 6 businesses.

Everything turned out well. The company sent someone out shortly after I bought the deal, the technician was knowledgeable and timely, and he offered advice on how to extend the life of the furnace.

We used the 'Buy it Now' promo for diagnostic services on our AC because it was not functioning properly. I called Hauser based on their Angie's List reviews. They were friendly, efficient and scheduled us in very quickly. The gentlemen from Hauser arrived on time, quickly went to work and found the problem within less than 30 minutes. They did not have the part we needed in stock, but it arrived within days. They called us to set up a time to install the part and arrived promptly on that day as well. The two men who came were very personable and wasted no time. They wore booties when they were in the house and were very respectful of everyone else who was here at the time (our housekeeper and neighbors had stopped by at the same time.). Once the part was installed our AC worked better than it ever has! They also offer a 1 year warranty that includes 2 service visits in the fall and spring. The overall price of the repair was actually less than it would have been because there was also a discount included with the warranty. We were very happy with Hauser and will definitely use them for any problems with our heating and air in the future.

They did a good job. We were in the process of moving, so we wanted to show that it'd been done to potential buyers. They were at the home for about an hour.

I have very high expectations when I hire someone to perform work for me, very rarely does someone meet expectations. With Hauser every aspect of my engagement with them was perfect. I bought one year service plan for 189.00 which covered this recent service and one in the Fall. By the way, Greg, the Hauser in-home technician was fantastic in the quality of his work, effective communication skills and overall customer service. Lastly, because I like technology, I have to say I was pleased with their payment capabilities. Greg, on-site, was able to take all forms of payment, minus cash, and have me sign and receive the agreement and receipt via email through his iPAD.

Hauser originally installed the AC so I called them when I thought there was a problem. They came out a determined the service would be covered by the warranty. They were on time and made the repair.

Installer was on time and professional and included suggestions to assist in overal savings to lower monthly Electrical cost. Completion time of installation was as promised. Nice job with clean-up and a review of what was completed of this installation.

I woke up to a chilly bedroom on a Monday morning. I knew my furnace was getting old, so I had already started doing research on Angie's List and Consumer Reports. I called Hauser and they were able to come out later that day. We discussed options, prices ... They couldn't come out to install the new furnace and air conditioner until Friday, but they did what they could to see that my furnace would last a few more days. They did a great job of installing both units. They cleaned up any mess they made. They were very polite and explained things to me. A few weeks later, we got a heat wave. I couldn't get the heat to turn off because I couldn't remember how to use the new style of thermostat. I called Hauser, and one of my installers called me back and coached me. I am very happy with my installation.

I have a condo that had a builder's grade heat pump. I was never comfortable in the winter. Roy Hauser came to my home and did a thorough inspection of my HVAC unit. He gave me an expert opinion of my options. I had a lot of confidence that I was getting good advice. The price wasn't cheap, but it was fair looking at my other bids. His crew showed up on time to install the system. They cleaned up after themselves.

Hauser has been great to work with. I am very particular about my HVAC system and wanted to pick a vendor I could count on. I picked Hauser based on other reviews (mainly Angie's list) and based on how they handled themselves during the quoting process (compared them to 2 other vendors). They were competitive enough on price and very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a ton of questions and they have been very patient with me and very thorough in answering. They specialize in Carrier Systems, which is one of the top line products. They had 4 men handling the install and did an excellent job. The way they arranged the air handler, air purifier, and humidifier made great (efficient) use of space in my limited unfinished "basement" area. Since the install, they have also agreed to re-arrange how some of the supply vents are attached to the main run to make my system even more efficient. They are doing this for free even though the previous (improper) install was not their responsibility. I plan to use Hauser for all future system maintenance and will recommend them to anyone I hear needing HVAC work. I am generally demanding of my suppliers, so when I find one that does as well as Hauser, I like to spread the word.

The technician did a wonderful job. The service was prompt and they responded to me quickly.

Our furnace had shut down completely 2 days in a row, once the pilot was out and it restarted. After the second time, we called Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning . In the meantime my husband checked the pilot, which was on, and after he replaced the panel, the furnace restarted on its own. Given the age of our furnace (19 yrs at the time) we were expecting the worst - replacement. The furnace was running when the representative came. He thoroughly checked the unit. The only item he found wrong was a wire that was looped behind the screw that did not have good contact. He moved the excess wire from behind the screw and tightened it. This was something we would have never thought to check...it must have been like that from the time of installation. The furnace ran well all winter. The representative that came out was courteous, friendly, and explained everything to me. We plan to contact Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning for any future needs.

They are very fine. They come when they say they are coming exactly on time. They are very polite, do a good job. If I call them and I need something they come right away. So they are real dependable. They are just nice people to work with. They are little bit more expensive than other people but they are worth the money.

The gentleman was very knowledgeable and professional. He even helped us seal a few other air vent leaks in our basement that helped tremendously as well. I would definitely call this provider for future services.

It worked out fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They gave us a specific time and just came and installed it. The quality of service was pretty good.
