Handyman Connection records show we had a proposal for several jobs for this member. The projects included securing nine sets of shutters, installing 240 sq. ft. of pavers, installing approximately 40 sq. ft. of ceramic floor tile, installing 2 exterior light fixtures pulling the power from an existing single light, and caulking a master shower. The price for all these jobs was in the $3000 range. The majority of the labor price was for installing the pavers.

Handyman Connection records show we visited with this member in July of 2012. The job completed was cleaning gutters on a two story home and cleaning a clogged downspout. We show a charge of $75 for the work completed. It has always been a Handyman Connection's policy to offer no charge evaluations. We do have competitors that have a trip charge.

Description of Work: I actually don't know the date or price, but this form forces you to enter one. It has been a while. I purchased time with the handyman rather than a specific service. Turned out he could not perform some of the services I wanted (my fault). He did try to balance a ceiling fan and did not really get it balanced and he put my screen doors on and did an OK job with that. I will say that on the other hand my dad had hired them to balance one of his ceiling fans and did a great job. They are just not consistent. I will not buy time instead of service again because it is too hard to estimate what I need - got burned another time with a different service provider with this method as well. If you don't use all the time in one service call that is too bad for you.

It was horrible. The technician never took off the old weather-stripping around the door when he fixed my front door. When he left I could see light around my front door. When he went to Home Depot to buy the supplies that he needed, he put a soda pop on the bill. The second time he went to Home Depot for supplies, he put a spray gun and weed killer on the bill also. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced. The second man who came said he follows the other man around and cleans up this messes all the time. The owner came out twice, and she gave me my money back. The man was bad news and I would never use them again.
Description of Work: I hired them to apply weather-stripping to prepare my door for winter.

The member is correct the first craftsman we sent did not service our customer in the manner we expect. He had been doing beautiful work for us and had received very positive comments from customers. Shortly after this unfortunate situation, we released the craftsman from are organization because adding a beverage or other supplies to a customer's receipt is not acceptable. The second craftsman did confirm our original evaluation that due to the age and water damage to the front exterior door that it needed to be replaced. In attempting to perform stop gap fix, we also found that locating the weatherstripping to match the age of the door was impossible. I personally apologized for the poor results and all money was returned for supplies and labor.

They showed up when they said they were going to. They did a good job and it was relatively inexpensive compared to some of the estimates from the other companies.

There were no fuel surcharge and the price was comparatively better.
Description of Work: They helped me set up the fridge, took out a cabinet to make room for the fridge and installed the cabinet in the garage. They also did some other patch up work.

What a wonderful experience! The craftsman showed up on time, covered his shoes before walking on my carpet, took the time to go through ever thing I wanted and give some suggestions. He gave me the quote and was ready to start work the same day!! The work he did was very well done and he cleaned everything up after he was finished! The girls in the office are very friendly and helpful as well. I will use Handyman Connection for all of my future projects and have already referred them to several friends!!
