It went great. The technician found three leaks in the main line and repaired all of them. We figured some of the zones would have bad valves and they did. JT replaced five zone valves, and several sprinkler heads. They also installed a new wireless sprinkler controller for me so I can control the entire system from my iPhone. The system works great. I am very please!

A large, professional, and well-equipped crew arrived and worked quickly to trench and run a new pipe to the street. Sod was replaced and if I hadn't witnessed their work earlier, I would not have noticed that they were there.

all persons involved showed up when they were supposed to show up. Work went quickly and smoothly. Although the lawn had to be dug up in places, the sod was saved and replaced. It has now been about 6 months since they were here andyou cannot see where they had to dig. Price was a consideration but I only wanted to have to do this once and selected the company that I thought would be the best option.

The technicians were extremely competent. They got up in our crawl space and flushed out our underground drain and were in and out in about 90 minutes. The price included a camera inspection before and after the hydro jetting. Much cheaper than another quote I got. Great experience.

It went great. They cut the sod and tamped down the dirt and put the sod back after running the new pipes. The hand dug in the flowerbeds and kept the topsoil separated from the clay and put it back exactly as it was. Since we had a big day of rain yesterday we got to see it in action and it all works perfectly.

Took longer than necessary to get work scheduled but once the crew came out to do the work it was done in a timely fashion. Quality of work was good although an electric power cable was cut. This was not discovered until later that night when our community security lights did not come on. There are several companies in Central Ohio that seem to have a corner on the underground tile business and Rain One is one of them. They know they are good at what they do and charge accordingly. They are good and I am sure the others are as well but getting competitive pricing is hard to do because of the lack of competition. Small companies are out there but don't give you a warm fuzzy feeling about the quality of work. Rain One is good and they know it. More power to them for building a good company with a strong brand!

I was hesitant to contact this provider to begin with as some reviews say that Jeff in particular, is hard to work with and rude. Now I see why. I would never contact this company again for an estimate, let alone want to deal with him in person OR on the phone.

Super job all around from the call to schedule the service, the promptness and punctuality of the service (next day) and the performance of the job by a competent and polite technician. The price and value of the service was excellent as well. FINALLY... great to have found a reliable irrigation company to care for our system!

I was very pleased with their service. It was quick and worked great! They even came back and put a 9x9 catch basin in to stop the pooling of water where the french drain connected into the rest of the underground piping. When they were doing this they saw the grass from where they dug up the yard was nonexistent so, without asking, they put new sod in with no extra charge. I would highly recommend them. Great people to work with!

He was punctual. He came at short notice to repair the back flow meter to fulfill home inspection for selling our home. Very professional.

Their sales manager, Jeff, was courteous, attentive and professional. Their quote arrived promptly and was competitive with the other offers we received. Their crew arrived as scheduled--a big group, 6-7 people--and got the job done efficiently in one day. We had a problem with the system coming apart underground and leaking water into our basement. They came immediately and fixed the problem, and cleaned up the basement to my satisfaction. While it's unclear what caused the problem, they were very responsive and did everything I asked of them to rectify the situation. The only damage was to the carpet, which they replaced. The reason I gave them a lower mark in quality was that our yard was pretty torn up afterwards. This was partly due to the rainy weather we had been having, and the ground was soft and muddy. Their trencher left tread marks everywhere. They brought grass patch and seeded the ruined areas, and the grass is now recovering. I would recommend using Rain One based on our experience. They did what they were contracted to do, and when trouble arose they were very responsive. Make sure the ground is dry when they come to install the system.

A great experience from the initial meeting with Jeff to discuss the areas we wanted to include, through the installation to the follow up to plant some grass seed in some of the areas in the lawn that needed to be patched. No high pressure sales, Jeff did a great job laying out the design and making sure every area of the lawn and garden was accounted for and watered properly. He even worked with me to upgrade the controller to allow for future zones, if needed. The team arrived on time and completed the entire job in 1 day - great stuff! To look at the lawn now you would never know I had a sprinkler system installed, they put the lawn back together again and planted seed mix in the areas that needed it. They even insulated the piping on the water feed in the basement to quiet the noise it was making when the water was feeding the system. Can't say enough positives about the experience - I would highly recommend the Rain One team!

I have mixed feelings about Rain One. The good: The crew that came out and installed the french drain was really nice. They completed the job in one day and the pipe they installed moves a lot of water very efficiently. I had quotes from lots of landscaping companies and they were all priced higher, but didn't seem to understand proper trench sloping like Rain did, which was very concerning. None of the landscaping companies ever mentioned using a sod cutter either, they all suggested planting grass seed. Using a sod cutter is hands down the best approach to preserving your turf when trenching across a yard. Also, Bobby (who seemed to be the project lead), was fantastic. He was extremely nice and I felt very comfortable with him on the job. I've had the pipe installed about a month now and it has performed excellent so far, actually better than my expectations. The bad: The sales rep lied to me about the materials being used, and I had a sneaking suspicion he was going to from day one. When he came out for the quote I specifically asked for perforated pvc, but he was gun ho on using perforated corrugated instead. I got a quote from him later in the day that listed perforated corrugated pipe as the material to be used. I then replied, asking for a quote for perforated pvc and had him update the contract to specifically list it. He sent the updated contract back to me and said there was no price difference, which was a big red flag. PVC is noticeably more expensive than corrugated, plus you have to buy more fittings and the labor cost would be more expensive since you have to assemble it. So the day the crew came out for the install, they brought all of the extra fittings I had requested for a few custom things (clean outs, fittings to hook into a couple downspouts, etc) but low and behold there was a giant roll of corrugated perf pipe. I asked the project lead (Bobby, who was fantastic, very professional and friendly) about the pipe and he had no idea it was supposed to be pvc. So given that and the back story leading up to it, it was quite evident to me that the sales rep thought it was more appropriate to be deceitful and do things his way than the paying customers. I specifically wanted pvc because it has better flow quality having smooth walls, longer life, and easier to clean out...but don't take my word for it. Google "french drain corrugated vs pvc" and every site you hit will tell you that. Ultimately, I didn't say anything else to Bobby and let them go ahead and install the corrugated pipe because I literally had water flowing across my yard and into my basement the days leading up to them coming out. But the sales rep's dishonesty certainly needs to be called out because I dropped a lot of cash on this project and it should have been done exactly how I wanted it. Looking back, I regret not stopping them and having them head back for the pvc. I shouldn't have let the sales rep get his way.

Robert did everything he said he would do and in a timely manner. I haven't had to use the system yet due to all the rain and cool weather we have been having. The installation went without a hitch and left the yard in good shape when they were done. He showed me how to use the system and offered to come back out to retrain me if needed.

I contacted the company on a Thursday night through their website email, and had a reply by Friday morning. I called Jeff Friday afternoon after work and we set up a time that coming Monday to look at a drain that overflowed from outside downspouts. By Monday afternoon, he had examined the underground pipe and flushed it so my sump pump could drain to the street. He was able to solve the problem under the estimated cost and told me to call back in 6 months to have him check it out at no charge. Honest, quick, professional and a life/basement saver!
