Description of Work: I've had people check my heating and air before that took me for all they could get. There was a small squeak in the heater. Jason just lubricated it and said no big deal. And most importantly, did not charge extra for the work. Yes, I'll call them again.

Description of Work: install compressor of AC unit, hung about 8 feet from ground

Description of Work: I contacted Jason Ormes on recommendation from another contractor and was extremely please at how quickly he came out and quoted all new HVAC, including duct work. Once I received his great price quote, I contacted the electrician he recommended (his relative), who promptly came out and quoted work as well. Between those 2 related contacts and myself, no one could get Jason to return my call. I sent texts, e-mails and left voice-mails on a regular basis for weeks, needing, at the very least, a schedule. Because of his lack of communication, he lost a big job. I had to move on to another HVAC company who would actually call me back. I was very disappointed because I have the utmost respect for the individual that recommended That Guy H&C and worry that it could reflect poorly on him in the future. That is not the case for me, but I really think Jason did everyone a disservice on this one. His cousin, however, has been fantastic, and will be installing new electric service and working with my new HVAC contractor. I don't like giving negative reviews, but I signed up for Angie's List hoping to gain from others' experience. Bottom line, I have heard he does good work, but you had better be EXTREMELY patient and have lots of time.
