"Please don't use this company!! They came to my house to blow out my sprinkler system and that went ok but Jim said that my system had weak valves or solenoid's and then apparently to prove his point he snapped one off in the valve box. He then took me over to an outside electrical junction box and said that chipmunks had gotten in and were chewing the wires, when I started to bend down to see what he was talking about he pushed himself in and said, "here let me help you", and got out his folding knife and began to jam it into the box all the way to the bottom as though he was digging in the soil in the bottom of the can. The he started telling me that I had a lot of problems with my system but that he could fix everything in the spring for around $500.00. This was all a shock to me and left me befuddled since my system was working fine over the summer. I paid him and he left but then I remembered that last year when I had him out he said something about my valves not being the good kind and began to crank on them and I had to tell him please don't break them even if they aren't the strongest. Then I went back to the wiring box and looked more closely and found that all the wires had been cleanly cut all at the same point and the cut was fresh with shiny wire exposed! Definitely not chipmunks!! I called Jim and confronted him about breaking my valve and cutting the wires and asked him why he had jammed his knife into the box the way he did and he said, "Oh the wires were impacted with soil". When pressed further he went back to the chipmunk story. He was clearly damaging my system in order to create future cash flow for himself. These guys are total scammers!!! I told him I want a refund, but he didn't agree to this and I haven't seen one yet. Avoid this company at all cost!! I'm telling all my neighbors to dump this guy. I only hope that this post can save others what I had to experience. Huge breech of trust!! I only gave this company one star because it wouldn't let me post my comments with zero stars. They deserve negative five stars."

"Matt did a great job with our backyard transformation project. We had 3 areas that would flood even with a small amount of rain. My backyard was so uneven that my kids could not safely run without stepping into holes due to neglect by previous owners. Matt removed a shed and gazebo and disposed of it. He was flexible with a last minute tree removal and halted the project to accommodate our schedule. We no longer have water issues, even landscape, and a great looking new lawn. Matt is very professional and a great communicator. He has followed up with us multiple times, overseeded, and fertilized. He even gave us free mulch that was unexpected. I would highly recommend Matt's services."

"Kirk was great!! He listened to what my wife and I were saying and responded very well. We wanted old overgrown shrubs to be removed and replaced with shrubs that would not require much upkeep and trimming. He told us about evergreens that have various hues and sizes. He planted seven shrubs, there are three different hues and one shrub that will grow taller. Then put stone down as dressing for the bed. We could not be happier. A neighbor hired him to work on her landscape after she saw his work. Kirk and Rob were great!!!"

"Matt, Neil & the team are fantastic! I took over my aunt's home when she moved to senior living. Being 40 minutes away, I couldn't keep up with her lawn. She had used Lawnman for years, so I asked if they would continue until we sold the house. They didn't miss a beat! They responded quickly and knew who my aunt was (even expressing concern that they noticed her declining health but didn't know who to contact about it. How about that? Lawn care with a personal touch!). The team jumped right in with plans to finish out the summer & adjusted the invoicing to me. When I didn't sell the house over the winter as expected, I contacted them this spring - a little late...I forgot until my own lawn was getting crazy. I was sure her lawn would be a jungle, but no worries! They started mowing the next day. When I contacted them about flower beds being overgrown, a team was out the next day to address it. "Received a consultation from this company in April 2024 for privacy bushed in back of home. His initial professionalism and salesmanship made me decide to use him for our project. We asked they he order and install 8 Juniper bushes for the project. Project install happened on 5/16/24. During the install, landscapers hit a sprinkler line on one of the tree sights. I understand that this happens and is sometimes part of the gig. When I noticed the damage, after the tree was installed, contacted owner. His response “ did you tell them the sprinkler line was there”. My home has water everywhere, and as a matter of fact we changed some of the location due to sprinkler line location. “ You have to tell my guys where the gas line are, and sprinkler lines”. I’m sorry, but I do not know anyone who has a map of sprinkler lines underground. Having said all of that, he said he could call his sprinkler guy, but could not guarantee his work. I than went on YouTube academy and figured it out for the next three days. Our first Juniper died early June and was replaced on 6/15. On this day, owner claims that the island was saturated with water with the tree he was replacing, and that the tree may not survive. That tree is the only tree flourishing. Currently 7/22/24 Four of the eight trees are dying. Owner has relinquished all responsibility to the grower with whom I have not even meant. Frankly, I do not even know who the grower is at this point. He has stated that I must now be in direct contact with grower. This has been the most unprofessional owner post install of service. He was paid in full and has not been honorable. I would proceed with cation and obtain everything in weighting . He is not trustworthy or honorable."

"We are in our 80’s and decided we needed to make our flower beds smaller and more manageable. At this time, we had at least 15 large beds and they were all full of weeds. Since we could no longer maintain these beds, we started searching for a landscaping company that could take care of all this for us. We went through a website called Angi and found several names to choose from. We selected Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition. The owner of this business is Sean Griffin. Sean responded immediately, gave us an estimate, we accepted, and he went straight to work. Not only did he and his crew do what we paid for (edging, mulching, weeding, planting grass where needed), they went above and beyond (to make everything look good), mulching around our trees, cleaning out an area of our backyard and putting in mulch and gravel, and made our fire pit area very nice. After showing us what he could do, we hired him to clean out an overgrown area along our driveway and he did an exceptional job with that as well. We are very pleased with Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition, especially with Sean. He is a very knowledgeable and caring individual who goes above and beyond what is expected of him. We purchased flowers from Sean, at a discount, Everything is just what we expected, and more. We will be having him, and his crew come back monthly to do the upkeep on our gardens."
