MASTER PAINTING PLUS

We used Angie's List to find a painter to paint a couple rooms in our house as well as the ceiling in the family room. We called John of Master Painting and two others and settled on John after talking with him. He came out quickly and gave us an estimate which was reasonable. We also needed some drywall repair in the bathroom and repairs to the textured ceiling in the family room. He also purchased some new trim for the bathroom and did a beutiful job painting it as well as the trim in the hallway. He was very efficient and was a Leonardo Da Vinci of painters. We selected the colors, he picked them up, his work was neat and clean and we would hire him again any time we needed some painting done and that won't be too long from now.

John and his son did an excellent job painting all our interior woodwork and walls. They were very painstaking and careful with our furniture. They used the brand of paint that we wanted even though it was more expensive. They answered all our questions and concerns. They were very honest and told us that some items did not need to be painted. We would highly recommend them and certainly will call them again if we ever needed anything more done. My husband does not impress easily and he said that they were the best painters he had ever seen. We felt like they were friends when the job was done.

He hasn’t done anything yet except the paper. I might use him.

Went very smoothly and methodically. John and his son arrived on time in the morning, worked all day, kept me posted on what was happening and asked appropriate questions re: work. Work was finished in 2 1/2 days. The work done was excellent and professional - the best we have seen in 25 yrs. All areas were cleaned up after each day.

John was delightful. He is very professional, friendly and always prompt. He and his son did an excellant job. John takes a lot of pride in his profession and it shows in his work. He did a lot of prep work for me before he ever started painting. I am very pleased and appreciated his work. I would definately use him again and have already recommended him to a friend.

Great customer service and results. John is a true pro and you have the confidence of getting top notch service. He quotes the work and then does the work, unlike some other painters we contacted on Angies's List who send in crews to do the work; I like the idea of dealing with one person for everything. We found his prices to be fair and honest.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Master Painting Plus. I contacted John for a quote for some ceiling texturing, interior painting and drywall repair. After having some difficult setting up the intial estimate appointment (the difficulty was partly due to my schedule), John contacted me on the day he was to come, asking if he could come over approximately 4 hours earlier than planned. When I explained that I would prefer that he come at our orignally scheduled time, he seemed put off. After assessing the work we needed done, he left saying that he would follow up with an estmate. Approximatetly one month later, I've still not heard from John. If he wasn't interested in helping us with our home, I would have rather known that upfront versus just not hearing from him again. Just a very disappointing experience. A return call out of courtesy would have been appreciated.

Jon returned my phone call with in 24 hours, we scheduled a date for him to come and give us an estimate. he was on time and prepared. He took his time going over my property and was very patient in answering my questions and explaining what he was going to have to do for each project. He was extremely reasonable.....we gutted the entire house.....so it was painted top to bottom, including the trim and all doors. When people enter my home they always comment on the trim! Who comments on the trim work.....Yes, its that good! He cleaned up after each project as well. He was amazing! He worked for over 3 months and was very professional, a perfectionist at his job, and all around very pleasant to work with. He was available whenever I needed him and always returned my phone calls promptly. I have since used him for other projects, and have recommended him to a number of family and friends. You won't be disappointed!

They were on time. Very efficient. Did a great job. I was really happy with the results.

I have used Master Painting Plus before and believe they do excellent work. They work smart, don't waste time, and clean up after themselves. I know I can leave the house for a while to do what I have to do and not worry about anything. John and his son work to please their customers and it shows. They know what they are doing.

Job was done very professionally on several levels - excellent workmanship, professional attitude, showing up on time and keep the areas clean and available in off hours. We highly recommend their work and will use them soon again.

We conducted the entire business without ever meeting face to face. He looked at the chimney, called my cell and gave me a price. The next week he did the job and left an invoice. He did a good clean job and I paid the bill.

John and his son did an excellent job! They showed up on time, cleaned up everyday before leaving, and were pleasant to have around the house (both my husband and I work out of our home so that's important to us). The bedroom involved some real challenges, due to incredibly old wallpaper and some walls and doors that needed to be patched and restored. But they took it all in stride and kept us in the loop in terms of what they needed to do to make the bedroom look its best. I was grateful for their attention to detail, their craftsmanship and their "well get it done on time" attitude. We will definitely hire them again!

Job went great! John and his son were very courteous, honest and professional. They did a great job and we are planning on hiring them for some exterior painting in the spring.

they started each morning at the same time. took 1/2 hour lunch brake, and then worked to 3:30 or 4. They clean up all their mess (paint covers, dust, etc) each day when they were done with their day. they were very professional at all times when we need painters again I will call them back.

John happened to be in the neighborhood and was able to give me an estimate the day I contacted him. He indicated the day he was able to start and showed up on that day about 8 minutes early! He returned three days later as he promised to continue the job. The next day he was done! They cleaned up after themselves each of the three days. They made every effort to contain the "dust" that inevitably falls when patching walls. They were extremely pleasant and nice guys to talk to.

John and his son (also John) were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, friendly and very meticulous. They didn't leave until they were certain I was happy with the job. I've used other painters in the past and none have shown as much attention to detail and customer satisfaction as Master Painting Plus. They keep you informed every step of the way. I was having problems with peeling on my front door after the last painter and John took great care to insure that it wouldn't happen again. He scraped, sanded, primed (with a top of the line primer) and used 2 coats of oil based exterior paint. It's nice to know that there are still honest, good, old-fashioned service providers out there. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Master Painting Plus to family and friends.

I have always dreaded having painters come in and work because of all the aggravation of taking everything out of a room, off the walls, then having to clean up after workers who invariably left a mess. Not this time! Sure we still had to take things out of the dining room but John and his son cleaned up after themselves. I expected more dust from all the sanding but even that was minimal. When a problem presented itself due to humidity, they were out the next day and fixed it. The room looks great.

There was also repair work involved, smoothing, sanding, prep work. They did very well. They cleaned up very well, I couldn't tell they had been here.
