It went great... I plan on hiring them back to do another bedroom and possibly another bathroom. Plus I plan on having him clean and stain my front porch and back deck.

We have worked with many contractors over the years remodeling homes and these painters were by far our favorite. They were so friendly, interacting with our family. They spent two weeks at our home doing a fairly large job and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. We are bringing them back to do a few more rooms and stairs and look forward to working with them again.

We had a large difficult job. Stucco on kitchen walls which needed to be removed, large 2 story foyer, front family room. Late on the first day of the job. Left paint uncovered. We have cats (which I had told him about previously) and the owner got very annoyed when I asked him to please cover the paint up at night. Owner did not show up for 2 of the days (his son did though) even though this was a large 7 day job. Charging extra for second coats of paint. If he'd been honest about what the price was really going to be we probably would not have gone with his company. Didn't tell us about the extra charges till we were sitting down signing the contract. Trim turned out a little splotchy. Kitchen walls not perfectly smooth. They did an "adequate" job, but definitely not "excellent". I had to point out a few problem areas. It looks better than it did before. If you have a large difficult job this may not be the company for you.

Excellent. John & John are so efficient and professional. They come prepared to work and they get the job done. I have used them a couple years ago and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know.

Wonderful. While I had to wait a while to have the work done (great professionals are busy), when the guys came out, they did a great job. They kept me apprised of their schedule, progress, and potential conflicts or hold-ups (weather). The work was done correctly the first time, and I love that neither painter rushed their work. The pride in their craft was evident. I will definitely use them again (and again).

great. painted oak cabinets white, part of larger kitchen facelift project. looked John and his son so much, had him paint bathroom cabinet, and several walls, ceiling and stairway. clean, professional, quality work. dogs loved them too. cabinets look brand new!

Great! John was very responsive and came right out to do the estimate. Work began 2 weeks later and took 3 days. He and his son were there right on time, are very polite and professional and did GREAT work. Everything is very neat and the rooms look brand new. I will defiantly call them again and would recommend to anyone.

Very good experience. The price was fine. It took like 3 days, they left the area very clean. Workers were great.

John Sr. promptly called me back to discuss the work I had for him. He came out within two days to give me an estimate. He began the work a week later. John and his son arrived on time. They were courteous, professional, and worked non-stop. The job took 3 days and I am very pleased with the work they did, especially the repair of the water damaged ceiling (looks marvelous) and the painted paneling makes the room look brand new.

I am a stickler for straight lines at the edge of painted walls and ceilings. Also, I have used Master Painting Plus before so I knew they did good work. I have a medium sized ranch house with an open floor plan so the ceiling covers my great room, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast room. I wanted an estimate to paint the ceiling - with three pretty high skylights - and the walls, mostly one color with a second color on one accent wall and bridges. John gave me an estimate of $2800 plus paint; I thought it was very reasonable so I told him to schedule the job. He was in the midst of larger jobs so I waited for about six weeks for John to come but that was not a problem for me. John and his son are very neat, covering everything as needed, and moving furniture to access the areas to be painted. They painted the ceiling in about a day and a half, two coats of paint on the walls, and one coat on the accent wall because the color was not going to be changed. He masked the woodwork and around a lot of the trim work. He also masked the corner of the walls where the two colors met. John has a very steady hand and the edges were excellently done. The whole job lasted five days, including one day off in the middle of the week to let the first color dry before painting the accent walls. John and his son are very polite, easy going, professional, and excellent painters. I would not hesitate to call them again whenever I need more painting work.

From the start John and John Jr. were friendly and professional, making sure to clean up at the end of each day and going above and beyond in their prep work to make sure that the job was of the highest quality. We had several spots in the bedroom and along the hallway walls where there was poor patch work from a previous job and/or damage that needed significant repair work. In addition, John recommended a particular type of paint finish for the hallway walls that is both washable and hides the imperfections well. With John's superior skills in patching, the old lumps and bumps look much smoother than they did. The bedroom that had cracks in the walls and ceiling along with holes from old shelving and a door knob looks like new. I can't even believe it's the same room. Lastly, they even offered to paint my old radiator cover, saving me valuable time. John worked on a holiday to ensure that my deck and fence were stained in time for the 4th of July. He took his time to apply the stain by hand to the deck giving it complete coverage. Overall I am VERY pleased with all the work and will definitely look to Master Painting Plus in the future for more work in and around my home!

They are coming again next week. The job went wonderful. They paid attention to detail and did good work. They are not in a hurry to get the job done and get out. They do the job right.

I left a message for Master Painting Plus last week. John called my house on Thursday and spoke with my husband and informed him he would be at our house on Monday to give us an estimate for painting the entire downstairs and a two level staircase. I waited at home all day Monday and at 6:30PM John called. Asked if I had called regarding painting. Not only had I called, but he also spoke with my husband on last Thursday. I informed him that he had told my husband that he would be at our house on Monday to give an estimate. He said "I've been out of town". No apology, no sorry, can we reschedule, nothing. I informed him that we would be finding someone else to do our painting. John made it seem like no big deal that he did not show up. A professional would have apologized, made every effort to correct the situation, and tried to reschedule. I guess they are making so much money that they can afford to be rude and carefree. I wouldn't use this company because of the non-professionalism and rudeness. He could wake up one day and decide he didn't feel like painting and expect me to be ok with that.

Everything went very well. John came over to talk about work to be done and gave me an estimate. I called him back to hire him & he let me know that at the time he had jobs and was busy but would schedule my job as soon as he could. I was having new widows installed so I did not want him to do the work until after they were in and he agreed. After they were in I called John and let him know I was ready and we set up a date. John and his son arrived on time and got to work. They did an excellent job and the quality is super .So glad he is on Angies list otherwise I would never have found him. John is very personable and goes above and beyond to do a good job. He is honest and will not tell you something needs to be done if it doesn't. He truly wants his customers to be happy and satisfied with any work he does and that is hard to find these days. Keep up the good work John.

John came over and provided an estimate and he asked all the right questions to ensure we received exactly what we wanted and he answered all our questions. At the time he gave us a general estimate and went off and provided a detailed written estimate within days. We agreed on price and set up a tentative start date. John called us within a couple of weeks of the start date to confirm the date. John and his son did an excellent job of painting. We were amazed with their craftsmanship and their attention to details. They always showed up on time and cleaned up every night before they left. They were thorough and removed all the hardware before painting and replaced it all after the paint dried and they were finished. They put one coat of paint on the ceilings and two coats on the walls and doors. They used a high grade Sherwin Williams paint and gave us our choice of colors and finishes and helped us pick the right finishes for the right application. John even removed a downstairs door to get the paint matched (at the local Sherwin Williams store) for the upstairs doors. In our laundry room, they were able to maneuver around the washing machine and dryer which was a very tight squeeze. They covered everything and moved furniture out of the way and did not get paint on anything the were not supposed to. We cannot tell you how happy we were with the final results. We are totally amazed that someone can hand paint a perfect straight line between the ceilings and the walls using a 4 inch brush :o) and I mean perfect on all four sides of the eight rooms! We have recommended Master Painting Plus to our family and our neighbors and friends (after they saw the results) and we would use them again in a heartbeat. Great job!!!

They are outstanding. I would recommend them to anybody. They are neat, clean, fast and efficient. They do excellent work. They were excellent. Their price is excellent. They were here right on the button. I can’t say enough about the work he did for me. They were here on time and did what they were supposed to. They cleaned everything up. They were very professional.

I worked directly with the owner of Master Painter and his son. They were extremely responsive when they gave me the estimate and were conscientious about the scheduling of my job. Once they started to work, they finished in the time frame that they estimated for the job despite a few "surprises" that took additional attention. They showed up on time every morning and quit at the end of the day despite several hot, steamy days in a space that does not have AC. Some rooms in the apartment had not been painted in 20 + years. When they found things that were not anticipated they talked to me about what they found and gave a clear description of what it would take to correct the problem. The additional charges were not unreasonable. They cleaned up the job each day and when they completed the job they rehung switch plates and window blinds. It was a positive experience for me.

It was an excellent experience. They are extremely professional. They were always prompt, worked extremely hard and left my house in as clean a condition as was to be expected so that all rooms were usable.Their price was extremely fair. The repair work that was needed was more extensive than expected - it was agreed to at a very fair price. A paint color that was supposed to be matched was incorrect - there was never a question whether it needed to be corrected. I have already given their name to several other people.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the job. John and his sin was very thorough and professional. I originally wanted to have this work completed a month earlier but John was booked. I could have went with another company but went with my gut and waited for John due to his passion for his work, and other reviews and accolades noted on Angie's list. It was worth the wait. John was suppose to follow up on some plaster work that we happened upon as a result of this job, but I never heard back from him. My schedule has been too hectic to track him down to schedule this work. However, I would definitely consider him for any other major painting.

John and his son did an excellent job pressure washing the exterior of my home. They worked in a neat, careful, and meticulous manner and the results were great. The cost was also very reasonable. I have recommended this company to friends and would gladly have them do additional work in my home.

Jon was very responsive and professional. He came to see the house and gave a quote after 1-2 days. He informed us upfront that he may have to charge extra if the wallpaper in some areas does not come off smoothly, so took care to leave no surprises. He with his son, grandson and son-in-law worked punctually everyday and cleaned up before leaving. We had just purchased the house and were not living there yet, so it was very easy to get the whole house painted within 5 days. There was no furniture to move. His work is excellent. However, he is very busy in the summer and has projects lined up back to back. So some of his team members may not complete the job properly, for example in 3 walls in the bathrooms we found only 1 coat of paint was applied. When I informed about this to Jon, he promptly stopped by our house to finish up. So this should be something to look out for especially in his busy season. Overall, very happy with the experience and will definitely call him only if we have future need for painting.

Master Painting Plus gave us an estimate that was as good as most and better than some. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, had to work around other trades who were in the home at the same time, and did a great job. They called with questions and issues and resolved all issues in a timely fashion and with quality work. They completed the work on schedule, on budget and with great expertise!
