Description of Work: Brian checked out the computer which was running very slow and having a lot of connectively issues. Brian ordered a new hard drive , installed it and our wirelesss router and had the system up and running on our newly installed wireless network in only a few days.

+ -1 moreBrian was a little late but he more than made up for it by working very fast and efficiently as I needed to leave less than two hours after he started. PC is working great now. In addition to cleaning the PC, he advised us on wireless options and made himself available for any follow up questions. I would definitely hire Brian again.

+ -1 moreVery pleasant and knowledgeable young man - when I learned he would not be available for several days he offered to guide me through some things over the phone so I would at least have use of the computer and my e-mail till he was able to schedule a call which he did - without charge.
Description of Work: Came to our home - set-up new wide screen lcd monitor - adjusted icons plus performed several other tasks - also advised possible new graphics etc.

+ -1 moreBrian is quite a find. Not too many computer techs know Macs as well as he does. He was polite, extremely knowledgeable, and his price was great. He came the day after my call, arrived on time, and finished in good time. I am recommending him to my friends and will use him again.
Description of Work: Brian installed Boot Camp, Parallel Windows and Windows XP home on my MiniMac. He also straightened out some problems with my Finder program on my MacBook Pro. Additionally, he enabled remote printing via my in-home network.

+ -1 moreThe hard drive on my laptop computer crashed. I took my computer to Brian (I was going in his direction so I delivered but he had indicated that he would come to my home) to evaluate. He confirmed that my hard drive needed to be replaced. He purchased the hard drive (provided me with the receipt for its cost), installed it and restored my computer so that I was ready to re-load my data. I had problems getting my computer back on the Internet so Brian came to my house and cleared up my Internet problems as well as setting up a wireless communication between my computers. Brian was quick to respond to my problems. He had my computer up and running very quickly - very important since I use it for business. Yes, it only cost me $275 total, including the cost of the hard drive, his time to replace the hard drive, restore my computer and then to come to my house to fix the problems with my Internet.
Description of Work: The computers at our home are used for our home business as well as for our own personal use. Hard drive on laptop computer replaced upon determination that it was no longer operative. Internet connections were re-installed. Problems with wireless connections were corrected. All computers at my home were set up for wireless printing and for wireless communication via external hard drive. Backup system was installed. Some computer errors that Brian detected while he was doing the work were corrected.

Description of Work: We switched from PC (after 10 years) to a Mac. Brian helped install the computer and copied over all the critical data; address book, ''favorite'' list, old e-mails, documents, etc. etc. etc. And then he helped us with a small tutorial to get us started with the new mac environment. (Brian told us that most of his clients are PC based. I'm sure he's every bit valuable to them too.)
