AMERICAN PLASTER & DRYWALL

Everything was excellent. We had someone else come who did not do a great job, so he came to repair the work and did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable. We were very happy with him, and would certainly use him again.

They were very professional and very competent. They were excellent in doing the work for me.

Jeff went out of his way to meet my schedule. I needed the work done when I was on vacation and he moved a few things around to accomodate me. He came and did the work one day and a lady came the next. They also did some minor wall repairs. Overall they did a good job. But I had the feeling they just wanted to get it done...it wasnt like they really cared about the work. That bothered me since I was spending $1000. It made me feel like I had to check stuff but when I did they had done a good job.

They did good on the drywall. The drywall work looks excellent.

Plaster did a good job in general, but some areas required rework. When these were pointed out, he was quite responsive and even improved some work that we hadn't complained about. He also recommend fixing some problems in the dining room that were not included in the original bid. This work was added at a reasonable cost. The painting was done in a quick and what we consider an unprofessional manner. We documented the problems and called in the owner. He promised that they would be fixed, but they were only partially corrected. My wife and I ended up spending several hours on detailing to bring the painting up to professional standards. The owner did not check back to find out if we were satisfied.

They were able to do the work very quickly. From the time I called them to the time the job was finished it was a week. Their prices were fair and the quality of work was good.

They did a great job! They were very nice and professional and cleaned up well when they were done. They matched the texture perfectly and you can't even notice where the work was done. I am very pleased with their work and if I ever need any plaster work done in the future, I would call them.

They sent out a man and he saw that there was a leak that was causing the rust. They identified the problem. We set up an appointment to have the plaster guys come out and plaster the area. The next day Mary Ann came out and painted the bathroom and we were good to go. I provided the paint because I wanted to make sure I got the color I wanted. Cost is for labor.

Overall, not excellent, but too bad. The sound proof glue was new to them, but they caught on quick. There were several small holes (bubbles?) that I had to fill in with more mud, plus had to fix a few areas around outlet boxes that either were cut too large or had too much mud in them. I'd call the clean up average.

They were clean and quick. The majority of the job was good. Too nebulous in what was to be exactly done. After covering the archways with "mud", and not using corner beads, they came back and said they weren't supposed to do the archways. Have everything specified in the estimate. Use corner beads on archways.

The work proceeded slower than they anticipated. It took 9 days spread out over 3 weeks, instead of 4 days. The workmanship was average. While nothing major was wrong, the finished surface was bumpy in places, and cracks are already forming. I had to sand smooth a few areas before I could paint the walls and ceiling. While they were friendly and professional most of the time, they did have a couple "no-show" days.

The corners are very rough, it appears they did not use "corner beads" the job does not look very professional. I had somebody else come to look at the job and they thought it was not done to standards.

The workers were on time, very professional, explained things to me and cleaned up after the work was completed. A very pleasant experience, and the jobs were done in the allotted time span. Highly satisfied.

HE WAS RUDE AND IGNORANT, I TOLD HIM TO GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, SO I WAS RELYING ON HIM FOR HELP. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND SEEMED TO BE BOTHERED BY ME, AND THEN STATED THAT HE PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN WANT THIS JOB. NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THE CREW THEY SENT WERE COURTEOUS, DID A GREAT JOB, EVEN HELPED MY WIFE CARRY GROCERIES IN THE HOUSE. THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING.

THE YOUNG WOMAN WHO DID THE WORK WAS PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, ASKED LOTS OF QUESTIONS, & WAS FLEXIBLE. VERY PLEASANT. THEIR QUOTE WAS $600 LOWER THAN ANOTHER, & THE QUALITY OF THE WORK & THE MATERIALS IS GREAT.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THE JOB WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION AND THE PERSON WHO DID IT WAS ON TIME, VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN FUTURE.

THE WORK DONE BY THIS COMPANY IS EXCELLENT. THE PAINTING WAS PRECISE AND TIDY. THE PLASTER, DRYWALL AND WOOD WORK WAS DONE SO THAT YOU WOULD HAVE NO IDEA THERE HAD BEEN ANY DAMAGE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM WITH ONE RESERVATION, THEY HAD TO BE PRESSED TO BE TIMELY.

JEFF CAME ABOUT 20 MINUTES EARLY WHICH THREW THE APPOINTMENT OFF BECAUSE HE WAS SO EARLY. HE ALSO DID NOT TAKE OFF HIS SHOES AND WALKED THROUGH OUR NEWLY BUILT HOUSE IN HIS CONSTRUCTION BOOTS AND TRACKED DIRT ALL OVER!! HE GAVE NO INFO OR BACKGROUND ON THE COMPANY AND SENT AN ESTIMATE FOR APPROX. $1,300 TO PAINT 3 ROOMS WITH 2 COATS OF PAINT. DIDN'T PUT THE 10% ANGIE'S DISCOUNT THAT THEY OFFER AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT HOW THEY PAINT, IF THEY LAY DOWN TARPS, OR PATCH THE DRYWALL, ETC. WE DID NOT HIRE HIM, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

ON TIME AND SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THE DIRTY JOB WAS COMPLETED. I WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

THE PAINTER (MARY ANN) WAS FAST, DID A NICE JOB AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HER FOR ANY PAINTING JOB.

I FELT THAT THE PERSON WHO DID THE PLASTER REPAIR COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE NEATER. WHEN I TURNED ON MY FAN UPSTAIRS, SMALL BITS OF PLASTER WENT FLYING AROUND THE ROOM. HAD I BEEN TOLD TO CLEAN OFF THE FAN BLADES, I WOULD HAVE DONE SO PRIOR TO TURNING ON THE FAN. ALSO, THERE WAS A GLOB OF PLASTER ON MY WALL AND BITS OF WET PLASTER ON MY CARPETING WHICH I WAS FORTUNATELY ABLE TO CLEAN UP. AS FAR AS THE ACTUAL REPAIR WORK, IT WAS DONE IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE HAVING DRYWALL WORK DONE FOR A JOB OF THIS SIZE!
