Very well. Gary was available shortly after my initial call to him, showed up on time, and did a thorough cleaning of my fireplace and full inspection of the chimney from top to bottom, using a small wire-guided camera. I had the chance to view the chimney interior on his laptop. He took care to protect furniture and flooring nearby, and cleaned up completely before finishing the job. He confirmed that my chimney tiles are in great shape and everything is ready for use. He provided the $20 Angie's List discount without me having to presenting the coupon.

It has been about seven years since I last had the chimney cleaned. We burn about a cord of wood each winter and it was very dirty with heavy creosote on the lining. Gary did the initial cleaning but was unable to get the creosote off the walls of the chimney. He suggested deglazing with a powder that would break the creosote down. Three days later he was able to again clean the creosote off the lining. He suggested a basic clean each year. I was very impressed with Gary. He was very straight forward and wasn't trying to up sell me on anything. He seems to be very honest and professional. He was punctual for each of the three appointments and worked very deliberately to start and finish the work. I will certainly use his services again next year.

Came on time and set up tarps , worked efficiently and discussed the condition of the flu showed me how to work the damper. Cleaned up thoroughly . Did not try to upsell me any other services which I always appreciate!

Purchased chimney inspection and clean through Angie's list. The workers were punctual, cleaned up when finished and completed the job in a professional manner.

They were punctual and professional. 2 people showed up. They put down tarps around everything near my chimney and turned on a shop vac to pull particles from the air near the chimney. They explained the process they were following and cleaned the chimney. They offered additional services like checking the chimney with a camera and they responded to my questions about adding a new flu, but they were not pushy about anything. I can't really see how much cleaner the inside of the chimney is, but overall I was satisfied.

I called Professional Chimney Service Inc. during the start of their busy season. He got me in on the following Sunday. They covered their shoes with disposable booties and laid down clothes to protect the area. After bringing in most of the supplies needed, they began with the brushes of various diameters while the shop vac caught the dust and ash. He then inserted the video camera in the flue and began a thorough screening for possible problems. We were shown where a brick was missing but told it would not cause any problems. It was probably the brick they found behind the damper, which is why I couldn't get it closed. After putting the damper on for me, he cleaned out the ash box and hearth. They recommended I get a chimney cap. I had put one up years back but was unaware that it was missing. After they put their equipment back in their vehicle, you'd never know they had been there. It felt good to know my flue is clean and safe to use the fireplace this season.

Gary arrived as promised and on time. Cleaning was straight forward with a full inspection. He reviewed the condition of the chimney with me and provided pointers for future maintenance. He also took time to show me how to properly operate the chimney damper. Overall, very professional.

Timely, respectful and efficient. They called ahead of time like they said they would and got in and out quickly. I would have them back again for the same service. They also noticed a few safety/structural hazards that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. One thing I wish I had known going into it was that the deal only included cleaning of the furnace and flue and not the box in the basement where the soot and ashes fall down to. Not a huge deal but it was my expectation that the box would be cleaned as well going into it. Still a quality job for the work that was done.
