we hired pro chimney to clean and inspect 2 fireplaces in a home we are purchasing. they showed up when scheduled and did a very good job. they even re-installed our fireplace doors because they were incorrect. i would use them and recommend them.

This was a great experience! The owner called me almost immediately to set up a date/time for the service and on the day of the appointment he called ahead of time to let me know when he would be arriving. He actually arrived 10 minutes early (!) for the appointment, got right to work, and walked me through the entire visual inspection on his monitor. He was very professional, thorough, answered all my questions and educated me on the use of the fireplace. I would definitely use this provider again and have already referred others to the service.

The man that came out was great, they ended up not being able to do the job because there was a lot of extra work involved, but he was very honest, and very punctual. We will certainly consider using them in the future!

Gary Crispin was awesome. I've recommended him to friend at work who needed work done on the chimney. He came on time to do the job. Very professional and cleaned the work site when he was done. He did a fantastic job on the chimney. Looks brand new. The house was built in 1959 and nothing had been done to the chimney since then.

My chimney and flue were inspected visually and with the video camera. We had just moved in and wanted to be sure we could use the fire-place. Found a couple of minor problems and a dead squirrel. Overall very clean and efficient, he is coming back to fix some small masonary cracks. Worth every penny!!

Chimney for a wood burning fireplace hadn't been cleaned in 2 winters and creosote had really built up. While performing the cleamning 2 large holes where mortar had deteriorated in the tile liner were discovered and had to be repaired at another date. Gary thoroughly went over the options after showing the problem areas and potential hazards. Gary called with arrival times and was prompt and clean on both the cleaning and the later repair work.

I am really glad we hired this company. It was a good deal because of the price and the quality of the service. I really appreciate that they clean all the debris accumulated in the smoke shelf and everywhere else inside the structure of the chimney. Mine is a very old house and it seems the chimney hasn't been used in a while. Garry showed us the inside of the chimney while he was inspecting it with the video-camera and explained us, in detail, everything. He also gave us recommendations to update the chimney crown. He took the time to go down to our basement -it was not part of the contract- and visually inspected the furnace flue and made recommendations to chance its cap. We really appreciate his time, his professionalism and the patience he had with me and all my questions. Actually, he made the inspection twice: they came the day before but we didn't see the camera inspection, so he offered to come back today to do it again. I strongly recommend him!!

The process was quick and thorough. They performed both services from inside the house and you could hardly tell they were there. It was very clean. They did notice a small area in need of repair but they were quick to let me know that it was not anything dangerous and it would be ok to use the fireplace if I did not want to get it repaired right away.

Excellent! Gary was prompt, very clean about his work (even took his shoes off!), and great at explaining the few other repairs needed for our fireplace. Took the time to give a reasonable estimate of repair a few holes and mortar repair to the firebox. He was friendly, thorough and efficient! I will definately call him in the future!

It went very well, I just purchased an old house and was looking to get the chimeny cleaned and inspected. I purchased the discount cleaning on Angie's list, Gary called me within a day to set it up. I also asked about having the chimney inspected, Gary said this would be half price since it was combined with a cleaning. Gary and his helper showed up on time, did a good job protecting the area and then got to the cleaning. After that was done they did the video inspection and showed me some things, Gary was very friendly. He also made some recommendations on things to do to help break up some creosote deposits that remained, so they could be removed in the spring time. He also pointed out some minor repairs that needed done to the fire box. Definitely will go with them again for my next chimney cleaning.

I used the big deal ($69) for this service. It went out pretty well. Schedule was easy and the person arrived on time. He did a wonderful job, clean and neat. Certainly will use this company again. Thank you.

I was very impressed with these guys on a whole. I contacted 5 different companies to get estimates on my chimney. Gary contacted me the next morning at 9:00, which i was impressed with. Only one other company got back to me and it was 4 days later. I knew that my chimney was in bad shape. So, I needed to get some pricing on how much this was going to be. I had gotten two other estimates from companies that i contacted that were not on Angies List and i got estimates that were 2 to 3 times the amount these guys charged me. The day that Gary contacted me he said he would go ahead and look at my chimney that afternoon and leave a estimate in my mailbox. When i got home it was there as he said it would be. Even wrote down on the paper what needed to be done. When they came to day they were on time and very polite. Let me know about what time they would be done. They were finished in the amount of time that they said. They cleaned up everything as if they were never there. Being a single girl that owns her own home and lives by herself, its always a little intimidating having men come to her house to do some kind of maintence. I brought my dog out in the yard to go to the bathroom and right away the one guy (d*** it, i don't know his name....sorry!) right away said how cute my dog was and how he loves animals. Then both of the men started talking about there animals and how they have rescued many animals in need. At that moment i was completely comfortable with both of them. They are good hearted guys that i would have no problem letting into my house when i am alone. When they finished, Gary said that he had to do a lot more than he estimated and it was pretty much in worse shape than it appeared. I asked if i owed him more money because of the trouble and he insisted that i didn't. Thanks Guys! I will be calling them next year to do some work on my porch. Very Professional Job!!!

Excellent. They actually started some of the work a day earlier than they said, they did beautiful work, they didn't even get our newly cleaned carpets dirty.

Gary cleaned our chimney and let us know about repairs that our chimney needed. He was very polite and explanatory. We agreed on the work to be done and he came out and fixed it. We had a cap put on the chimney, a new crown done, tuck pointing around top 4 layers and tar flashing. All together the price was $670.00 and everything looks great. We'd use him again.

Gary Crispin was totally professional and explained the process ahead of time, the time that it would take. and the price. I had had some work done previously on the chimney but concrete continued to fall since the company didn't take the time to remove all of the loose material from the chimney. Gary dug and drilled out all of the loose material and replaced it with new concrete. The new concrete looked very neat and didn't spread onto the bricks at all. After the job was done, he cleaned all of the loose material from the gutters and the roof surfaces. He always showed up at the expected time and he and his helper were extremely polite and pleasant. I would heartily reccommend them to anyone for the same job.
