Gary came to my house on a Sunday to perform all services because I am on a deadline due to selling my house. He was friendly and very thorough and made sure that the entire area around the fireplace was protected from the dirt. I was very pleased with the work performed.

Gary Crispin came out immediately. We had smoke smell coming into living room even without a fire. I knew the flue was dirty. I had called a previous chimney company that told me it was clean. Gary thoroughly cleaned out the flue and damper cover. I saw the soot come pouring down especially behind the flue. Whenever cold air or wind blew down the flue I had smoke smell in the living room. Gary was very honest on the phone giving tips even before I had hired him. I tried some of the things he recommended but was still getting smoke smell. I am glad I called him and would highly recommend him and use him again. A really nice man.Cleane

We also paid for a video camera to go up inside the chimney to look for cracks. We discussed this ahead of time and agreed to it.

From the time I called him on the phone to make the appt. he was very polite and professional. He was so nice!!! He made the appt. just a few days later, was on time and removed my fireplace doors, grate and blower and carried them in the basement for me at no extra charge! Woul absolutely use them again!

Things went very well. They arrived in the time slot promised and got right to work. The crew looked a bit motley and if they didn't have such a good Angie's list rating I probably would have been worried. I don't really know what I was expecting, they clean chimney's for a living and look the part. I was either their third or fourth job of the day, so clean they were not. I was expecting a big mess, but they laid down plastic and did adequate prep work to keep my home clean. He also worked quickly and vigorously enough to make me think they were actually cleaning my chimney and not vacuuming the loose stuff. All the work was done from inside my home which surprised me. I thought it would be done from the top down, not the bottom up. On the downside, they did not climb on my roof to inspect the chimney cap and I suppose they would have done that had I requested it. However being cold this would have been delayed until spring any way. I am very happy with the quality, speed and cleanup after the job. They seemed honest and I really liked the camera inspection. I would recommend and/or use them in the future.

Came on time. Made sure not to get any dirt on carpet etc. Very friendly. Had him do my daughter and son in laws chimney a couple of months ago and they were also very happy. Great personality, friendly and would answer any questions or concerns that I had.

Words can't even begin to describe how happy I am with this company. They were fast, courteous, and clean. They didn't take advantage of me like other companies in the past. They really did a wonderful job, and I am so pleased.

I called and left a message for Gary and he called back within a few hours to set up an appointment to clean our chimney. He arrived on time, was very thorough, and did a nice job. Since it was done from inside of the house he was very careful to lay down tarps and plastic sheeting to protect the carpet and furniture. I'm planning on having him come back again next year.

He gets an A for effort and did a thorough job cleaning and inspecting. He explained what he was doing and gave advice for future cleanings and use of creosote removal products (sweeping log). He really tried to keep the area around the fireplace clean by using tarps and drop cloths, but the tarps and drop cloths we dirty from previous cleanings and there were gaps in coverage. Our carpet and couch are gray and brown, so I didn't notice anything get dirty, (but a light carpet may have?). He also bumped the walls a little with the cleaning rods, but I didn't notice any damage or stains. Overall everything was fine and I will use this company again.

Gary & crew were here for 1 1/2 h,ours. Both chimney's not cleaned in 18 years. Really dirty. They did superb job, and cleaned both fireplaces. Highly recommend their services. Very clean, neat, and tidy.

They showed up on time and I don’t have anything bad to say about them. They weren’t able to do the work because of some faulty repair work done previously.

He came on time, conducted himself very professionally and cirdially, kept everything clean, explained exactly what he was doing and what he found, packed up and left. It was a great experience. Well worth the time and expense.

He was prompt, professional, and courteous. He made sure he did not leave any mess before he left. He answered all my questions. We were happy to learn that the fireplace in the living room was in great condition and we have been using it ever since. He found that the 2nd fireplace needs some repair work in the firebox. We will call him back to repair that for us at a later date.

We wanted to be able to use our fireplace this winter, so we called this company. We had to reschedule the service one time, but he did come out the next week. He did a nice job and did it quickly. No problems.

2 workmen arrived promptly and inspected the outside chimneys before entering the house. The got right to work and worked until finished. They put down drop cloths so there was no mess. A problem was found with one fireplace and we will have this company return for repair work. This is my kind of company; they have a customer for life.
