Professional Chimney Service Inc

Not much of a story. He showed up and cleaned the chimney.

The technician/owner showed up on time, made certain that the area surrounding the fireplace was covered and disposed any waste collected during the cleaning. I was told that each service would not last more than one hour. The services began and ended on time. I will certainly use this service again.

Very pleased with the work done. Very professional, arrived on time and made sure my floor and furniture were protected. I spent the extra money for the camera inspection because I hadn't had the fireplace cleaned or inspected since I bought the house three years ago. Was pleased to know all was well and that I wouldn't need to have the camera again next year. I would definitely use their service again.

He was very efficient. Did not make any mess. Told me what he observed and how often he thought I should get my chimney cleaned in the future, based on our fireplace usage. I definitely would have him come again. Do not remember how much I paid for the Big Deal (since I am turning in this report so late) but I do know that I felt it was very reasonable. I will have him again.

I bought a new house and he was very prompt to come out, kept everything clean and was very professional. I had a question weeks later about the damper (user error!) and he came over right away without charging me! I would definately use him again.

My experience went great. They came out on time for the appointment and were professional. They inspected and swept two of my chimneys.

It went great! The service person arrived on time and set up without any supervision (I was busy in another room). This is my first home and I've never had a chimney swept before, so I was concerned with whether there would be a mess in my living room (especially because I have a white couch). Before he started, the service person did a great job covering up everything in the room and setting up a shop vac to catch any debris. He completed the work unsupervised and let me know when he was done. He gave my chimney a clean bill of health and did not attempt to sell me on any other services. He also took the time to explain how the chimney, ash duct, and flu work (which was all new to me, never having lived in a century home before). Overall, the service person did a great job and I'll hire them again, even without a coupon.

Arrived on time(actualy a little early which was nice) with a call in advance. I have a good sized, reasonably bark-ey dog that he didnt have an issue with Cleaned the chimney and surrounding area quickly and cleanly.

Gary was prompt in returning my call requesting service, and found a time that was convenient for us both sooner than I expected. He arrived on time, was pleasant and professional. He was very careful to make sure than my dogs were restrained before bringing his equipment. He estimated his time to be 45 to 60 minutes, but he was here about 1 1/2 hours. My chimney has probably never been cleaned and it was quite dirty. I believe this is responsible for the extra time. He explained the condition of the chimney clearly, showed me where some problems were, and provided estimates for these problems. I was quite pleased that he was not pushy about selling these extra services. I would be glad to hire him for the additional work.

They were on time and spent the time to talk with me about some other non-related chimney issues. They did a good job of covering up furniture that was located near the fireplace.

Service was very prompt (exactly on time) and very very friendly. Even educated me about my fireplace setup, which I had not used yet, since purchasing my home. Highly recommedded.

Gary responded immediately to my phone call, and was flexible to find a date and time that worked for me. This was a busy time of year for him, but he was very prompt and responsive. He came out on a Saturday. He inspected the flue, checked that the gas line worked correctly, pulled out the gas logs to clean each one of them, and inspected and cleaned the entire fireplace. He covered the area around him, and it was clean when he left. He was knowledgable, professional, and patiently explained how everything worked. I would recommend him, and I will use him again.

The service man arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He wore protective booties to protect our floor from dirt. He set up a protective cloth around the fireplace to keep our carpet and furniture free of soot, and made sure that all his equipment was set on the cloth. He swept the inside of the chimney, then inserted a scope that allowed him to view the interior through a video screen. He was friendly and open to answering questions, and showed me spots of creosote build up as they appeared on the video screen. He explained why the build up is undesirable and made recommendations about future cleaning/services. Our flue was rusted, so he offered suggestions about how to get it operating smoothly. When he was finished, he put his equipment away quickly and cleaned up the small spots of soot that had appeared on the fireplace glass. The living room was just as clean as before he had arrived.

The company called within 2 days of my having purchased a coupon for a $69.00 chimney sweeping and we set up the appointment for a few days later -- on a Sunday! How great is that? The serviceman was prompt and friendly, kind to my nervous dogs, cleaned up well and gave me some good advice. I had originally purchased just the sweeping, but my home is close to a century old and I asked for the camera/inside view to check for leaks and so on. This wasn't pushed on me at all. I really liked this company, and I do recommend them.

They arrived on time, took off their shoes, set covered the work area, set up the equipment and cleaned the chimney. I asked for additional information about my fireplace and I received clear complete answers. At the end they showed me on the screen they brought what the inside of the chimney looked and reported that I had no issues that needed to be addressed. They were pleasant and professional. They were also very good with three curious cats.

Went fine. Everything kept clean, by using tarps.
