Professional Chimney Service Inc

This was an Angie's List "big deal." Service was easy to schedule. Technician arrived on time. Work was performed efficiently. Cleaned up well after cleaning leaving no mess. Having the option of purchasing the camera viewing was a nice feature to ensure there were no structural concerns with the chminey.

It went well, cleaned and used a camera to inspect our chimney. also went on the roof to access the entire structure.

I purchased a Big Deal cleaning and video inspection for my chimney. Gary called me that day to schedule the work. He was able to schedule the work for my first opportunity, seven days later. Gary called the night before to verify our appointment, and showed up on time. They brought drop cloths, etc. They explained what they were doing and I was able to see the video of my chimney as they looked for possible problems. All went well. They cleaned up after their work. In total it took about an hour - the time estimate they gave me. I will definitely hire them again.

The provider was very quick to respond to my phone call, answer my questions and schedule a time to perform the services. He was on time, called when he was about 10 minutes away, very professional, took their shoes off before entering our home, and placed down drop cloths.

I responded to an offer on Angie's List for chimney cleaning. Gary promptly contacted me to set up the appointment within the next few days. He and a co-worker were very courteous and professional. They did an excellent job cleaning the chimney and did not leave any mess at all. I would highly recommend this company, and will use them again in the future.

Very punctual and did exactly what they said they would do. They laid tarps in the living room and took their shoes off without being asked to take them off! They gave their recommendations to have the best working chimney but were not pushy with making you do exactly what they wanted. Very impressed!

Was scheduled quickly and service was one time and very thorough. Would cetainly use this vendor again!

I purchased the chimney sweep package on one of Angie's Specials. They arrived on time, and got to work immediately. They covered the floor so that no soot would damage the carpet. I have dogs that are good judges of character, and they behaved for the time that they were there (not so with some other vendors). He noticed that I did not have chimney caps, so we ordered them. The caps were ordered and installed on the date promised.

On time, clean, professional...I will definitely be calling them in the future!

We purchased a Big Deal for a chimney sweep and inspection. They were very helpful, clean, and informative. They explained what they were doing and what we were seeing on the camera inspection, and they gave us tips about maintenance. We have never had a fireplace before so it was very helpful and we were pleased with the experience.

He was very punctual and professional. He saw the insert and was able to tell us that he was not going to be able to do it. Didn't charge us/hired him through the "big deal" coupon. Both him and his colleague were very pleasant do deal with. Would contact again for another service.

I called to schedule an appointment and subsequently had to change the day due to a scheduling conflict. No problems making the change, more than accommodating. Arrived on time and had a helper. The job was done very thoroughly. The area around the fireplace was covered with tarps to protect the carpet and adjacent furniture. I was happy with the service and am likely to use them again. The only thing I would question was the "presentation" of the guys that did the service. I know it is a dirty job but somehow a uniform or at least not ratty clothing would have been more professional.....I know it seems trivial, but it makes a difference.

We moved into an old Lakewood house that had been abandoned for several years. There's really no telling when the fireplace was used last, but we knew we would really like to use it once the cold weather hits. We found this company through an Angies's List Big Deal. Gary came when he said he would and he was very professional. He and another crew member set out sheets to protect the carpet and furniture (our job was relatively clean because the fireplace hadn't been used for so long) and it didn't take long at all. They went right to it and showed me the video afterwards, so I could see that everything was in good shape. Then Gary took the time to show me how to use the damper properly, since neither my husband or I have had a fireplace since we were kids. He was very informative and I would definitely hire him again.

Great. We had to cancel the morning he was due to come for a family emergency - Gary was great about it! He rescheduled with us as soon as we could and got the work done. He was quick and clean!

He arrived on time and immediately went to work. Covered the work area with tarp. Sweep the area. For an additional $40, he ran a camera up the flue. He did find a substantial creosote buildup and recommended that it be removed. He suggested trying the various products on the market myself, but if that did not work, he could do it.

They showed up on time, set up quickly, cleaned the chimney thoroughly, broke their equipment down, cleaned up after themselves, and debriefed me. No muss. No fuss.

He was great! He spent a lot of time cleaning and inspecting the chimney with a camera. He explained everything he found and whether we needed followup action or not.

Chimney inspector was punctual & courteous. He kept the fireplace area clean and used a camera to show me the inside of the chimney and where to look for possible problems in the future. He reset the gas logs, showed me how to start a fire and gave advice on how to enjoy the fireplace in a more energy efficient way.

Put down drop-cloths over the entire area in front of the hearth. Brought in a large amount of equipment including a complete video system. I was surprised how much really hard work went into the cleaning effort. After completing the cleaning, the entire interior of the chimney was clearly displayed on the monitor. After removing all equipment, the work area was perfectly clean.

They offer a very professional service. I had never had my chimney cleaned or inspected in the 13 years I lived here. Everything was ok but they said it was dirty so they cleaned out the chimney. They informed me of an inexpensive way to fix a small crack. They provide very very good quality. They came when they said they would and did great work. I would highly recommend them.

Professional Chimney Services cleaned our fireplace and inspected the chimney flue for problems. They arrived on time and immediately set to work. Tarps were spread to protect the carpet and the fireplace was cleaned with a high power vacuum. They then inserted a video camera into the flue to visualize any problems and search for the presence of wasp nests. The video was displayed on a monitor and confirmed that the flue was in good condition and no wasp nests were present. The whole process took less than 90 minutes. They were very efficient and clean. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Gary kept everything neat and clean even though it can be a messy job. He showed me what the inside of my fireplace looks like and we talked about fireplace safety going forward. We will hire him again. He was a pleasure to have in my home.
