Emergency Services Offered
Services we offer
We are a full service, one stop for all your home and business plumbing needs. We would be happy to repair or service any plumbing issue - big or small. As a family owned and operated business, we happily service all Northeast Ohio. Our many services include: water or gas line repairs and replacements, garbage disposals, sump pumps, drain/sewer cleaning, water heaters, toilets, faucets, sinks, sewer excavation repair or replacement, boilers and more.
Services we don't offer
At this time, we do not provide services for well or septic systems. However, we do clear drains if your septic is backed up into your home or business.
At first, we thought the service was great. The plumber came out on a weekend and got right to work. He was professional and really seemed to know what he was doing. He replaced some old pipes in our bathroom (original to the house, which was built in the 1940s). However, 6 hours and $650 later, we still had a leak from a different pipe. The plumber said there was a crack in that pipe and the gasket was on backwards. He offered to fix it, but it would cost another $150 and he would have to go buy parts so he wasn't sure he could do it in that same day. We decided to try to fix it ourselves after the plumber assured us he would come back right away if we were unable to correct the problem. After our attempt at fixing it, the pipe still leak, so we called the plumber back. We were scheduled for the next day, but then he couldn't come because of a sewer emergency at another house. I understand that sewage backup is more important than my small leaky pipe. But then we kept getting bumped day after day, and a week later, the plumber had never come back. We ended up calling a different service to help us.

Dear Mrs. [Member Name Removed], I apologize as it has been brought to my attention that we dropped the ball in making sure our plumber returned to complete your plumbing job. I am mailing out today a reimbursement for services that should have been completed by our company. This is not common practice for us at all and we feel badly that this miscommunication/scheduling mistake occurred to cause you to call another plumber. I hope you accept our reimbursement and apology to reconsider calling us back in the future. If you have any other plumbing issues, please give us a second chance and ask for me. I would like to make this right not only for this incident but to ensure you have the best positive experience with our service and customer care. Sincerely, Karen Miller Office Manager 330-952-1900

The serviceman came out promptly in morning, measured and discussed our needs. Returned 1 and 1/2 hours later and installed a new hot water tank that was perfect for our needs. The plumber was professional and courteous, and the work done was excellent. This is the second time I have had Plumbing 911 out and they have given excellent service each time.

I am not good at leaving comments but my experience with this company was so above expectation, I had to share with others in hopes they will call this company when plumbing services are needed. I had an excellent experience with Plumbing 911. Their plumbing service was more than reasonably priced, incredibly responsive and professional. If you'd like to hear about my experience, I gladly share the details. They said that someone would arrive between 2 - 4 pm on Sunday. Steve called at 1:30 pm to let me know he would be there soon. He arrived at 2:04 pm and examined the damaged pipe which was cracked in between the joints, the entire length of the pipe, about 4-5 inches. He identified the issue as being poor insulation and revealed open gap underneath the paneling. He counseled on how to prevent in the future and checked the other side of the basement where another pipe to an outside faucet was located to ensure it was okay. He also re-pressurized all the plumbing in the house and checked visible pipes for any damage, which there was none. He offered to come back the following week to repair; however, I had to put it off until I could be home this week. We scheduled the appointment for today. Upon leaving that first day, I asked what the charge was for the Sunday visit. The answer was $0. In the world of immediate need and what feels like desperate times when your basement is flooded, this was amazing and surprising news to me. When I asked why, his comment was that the company is about building relationships and that their goal is future service and referrals but providing great service at a fair price. Steve returned today, again calling 30 minutes ahead and arriving promptly at the scheduled time. He repaired the pipe, tested it and helped me with the shut off on the other outside wall. He worked quickly and without disruption, left the space exactly as he found it (clean) and presented me with a bill that was exactly the amount of the original estimate. He was very helpful, friendly and professional and because of that, he helped make a terrible situation easier to manage.
Description of Work: A pipe burst on the outside interior wall of my basement on 2/27/15, which I didn't discover until the next day, on Saturday. I was able to shut off the water at the source, so I did not need same day service. I called Plumbing 911 and they were able to send someone the next day (Sunday).

Plumbing 911 came to my house the same day I called and replaced a badly leaking water heater. The young technician did a nice job. He let me help and didn't charge extra for it! The overall cost was exactly in the middle range of the online estimated cost in my area. This is the second major job they have done for me and I am very pleased.

I had a great experience with Plumbing 911. First of all I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to make it out. I made the phone call on a Tuesday and they were able to make it out the next day, I instead had to schedule out a couple of days later which was no fault to them but instead my work schedule. Once they came they explained to me very clearly what all was going to be done before they did it as well as how much it would cost. I felt like the price was fair and they were very quick to complete the job. I would absolutely recommend them in the future and I know if I have any plumbing issues they will be the first company I call.

We couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with the plumbers who came and the work that was done. All of the plumbers were, fast, friendly, trustworthy, reliable and professional! Our leak with the toilet was resolved right away. The plumber diagnosed the problem and it was fixed quickly. The flooded basement was in such a mess when they came. After they left, the basement looked new again, and smelled great! They cleaned, sanitized and dried it out. During this process, which was several days of fans and dehumidifer, John kept coming over and checking on the basement. John and Alex did a wonderful job. Shane came over and installed the hot water tank, and he did an awesome job! Keith is currently installing the plumbing for an extra bathroom. Keith is such a hard working, knowledgable, kind Plumber! Plumbing 911 has done an excellent job with all our plumbing needs. When I have called them to set up an appointment, Karen or Bridget is who I spoke to. How fantastic is it to find a friendly, kind, helpful person on the other line, ready to help solve your problem. This amazing company truly cares! I highly recommend Plumbing 911, from your smallest plumbing problem, to your biggest problem.
Description of Work: Plumbing 911 has been to our condo several times this year for different problems. In April, right before we were leaving for vacation, our toilet was leaking so bad. May 12, 2014 our basement flooded for the first time ever. The basement needed to be cleaned, sanitized and dried out.The hot water tank was also ruined and needed to be replaced. Currently we are having a bathroom installed.

BLOCKAGE WAS NOT CLEARED. USING LATEST TECHNOLOGY, THEY SENT DOWN A CAMERA WITH A SUPER JET. SUPER JET BROKE THROUGH THE TILES. THEY LOST THE SUPER JET. WOUND UP DIGGING UP ENTIRE DRIVEWAY AND SIDE YARD TO REPLACE THE SEWER LINE --- THIS IS AFTER ASSURANCES THAT THEY WOULD ONLY HAVE TO DIG UP SPECIFIC AREAS ALONG THE PATH OF SEWER LINE. ENTIRE BASEMENT IS DUG UP. WAS TOLD BY THE PLUMBER, BOB STUDD, THAT THEY WOULD BE BACK TO FILL IN THE BASEMENT DIG OUT AFTER THEY CONFIRMED THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH THE REPLACED SEWER LINE. CONTRACTOR WAS GIVEN A KEY FOR ACCESS TO THE BASEMENT TO COMPLETE THE WORK AT THEIR CONVENIENCE. IT WAS NEVER COMPLETED. THE INVOICE I WAS PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF CONTRACT WAS FOR $1,000.00 LESS THAN THE EMAILED COPY SENT TO ME A MONTH LATER - AT WHICH POINT MY CREDIT CARD WAS ALREADY BILLED. THESE GUYS TOOK AN ENTIRE WEEK TO DO THE JOB. THEIR TECHNOLOGY IS A FARCE. THEY KEPT WANTING TO DIG TOWARD THE REAR OF THE HOUSE WHEN THE SEWER LINE GOES TO THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE BECAUSE THAT WAS WHERE THE DETECTION EQUIPMENT INDICATED THE PROBLEM. I DON'T KNOW OF ANY PLUMBER (EVEN FROM 100 YEARS AGO) THAT WOULD DIG SEWER LINES AROUND THE BACK OF THE HOUSE WHEN THE DIRECT LINE OF EXIT IS TOWARD THE FRONT. ONLY AFTER MY INSISTANCE OF WHERE TO BEGIN DIGGING, DID THEY FIND THEIR EQUIPMENT THAT THEY LOST THOUGH THE TILES. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE BLOCKAGE WAS AT THE SIDEWALK CONNECTION. SO MUCH FOR THE DRIVEWAY AND WALKWAY. ALL TORN OUT WITH THE OLD SEWER LINE. I WAS TOLD BY THE PLUMBER, BOB STUDD, THAT HE WOULD BE BACK TO FILL IN THE BASEMENT ONCE THEY WERE SURE THAT ALL WAS PERFECTLY FLOWING. THAT WAS A YEAR AGO. AFTER CALLING THEIR OFFICES I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DON'T DO CEMENT WORK. READ THE CONTRACT.

Dear Angie's List Members, As always, our company strives to ensure every job is cared for and that our customers are happy with our work. Whenever we get an unpleasing review, we contact the reviewer, along with seeing what we could have done to make the situation right. There are always two sides to the story and unfortunately most of the information above from this customer is completely untrue. We did complete work for this customer in June 2013 and he was very happy with our services and pricing, as the job was a very large job and did take our crew a week to complete. The price was extremely fair and our technology is all new state-of-the-art equipment. Our equipment didn't get stuck due to a failure of our equipment or ill-workmanship, but because the customer had a serious sewer break, which had cause sewage back up and house drains stopped working. This past June 2014 (exactly 1 year later), the customer called our offices asking for us to concrete a spot in his basement from the repair that was completed over a year ago. I personally took this call and was very concerned because I never had a customer call us saying that we didn't complete a portion of the job, let alone a whole year after the job was completed. It is our policy to collect payment upon completion of the job, so I was very confused as to why work wasn't completed and why a whole year lapsed before the customer had called us. I honestly was worried that we made a mistake about this and was very embarrassed and so immediately I pulled the invoice, called the supervisor to get to the bottom of this issue for answers with the client above. Once I pulled the invoice and spoke with the Supervisor, I learned that we were not contracted to finish concrete in the customer's basement. This was explained to the customer before beginning the job, along with very clearly including in the contract that Plumbing 911 will not be completing concrete finishing in basement from repair. This had been explained and agreed by customer, due to the finishing needed, Plumbing 911 recommended a concrete professional. When I called the customer back, I had hoped to come to understanding and hopefully have the customer remember this about our contract. The customer seemed to understand to a point, but was upset. I apologized and explained that the reason that we did not add this to the contract, was due to the quality of concrete needed - our plumbers felt it best that he contracted a concrete professional, instead of paying a plumber to complete a task, that was not our skill or trade. Our company does complete rough concrete patches, but for more detailed work, we do not want to try to be a jack of all trades, but rather be the master of one - Plumbing. I explained further that he was not charged for this service, as it was never part of our description of tasks nor were we hired to completed this portion of the job. With large jobs, such as this one, our customers receive a written proposal listing each task that we are being contracted for, along with a hand written invoice of all tasks completed, warranty, etc. On this customer proposal/invoice, our company does state and has clearly written with the customer's signature - that we would not be completing the concrete repairs, but the customer would need to hire someone for this portion of the job. These contracts help keep everyone on the same page so that there is never any confusion. I honestly do not know where the confusion of this matter came from with this customer; however, I can say that his review is unfair and and misleading. As a family business, I am upset that such a negative review and untrue things can be said about our company. I understand everyone has a right to their opinion and for that I appreciate you taking the time to read "our side" of the story. Unfortunately, I feel that this customer is saying untrue things and retaliating against our company unfairly and unjustly. If we do something wrong, we will be the first to make it right. Thank you again for reading our side of the story. Please know if you ever have an issue with our business or services, we want the opportunity to make them right. That is what you will get with our company. As you can see with all our reviews, we get involved in each response because we believe in our relationship with our customers to see us through to always becoming the best company we can be. Sincerely, Karen Miller Office Manager 330-952-1900

They arrived on time, and told me my sewer was blocked between my house and the main sewer line. The technician mistakenly removed my storm clean out cap and destroyed it in the process. He told me that I would be charged for a new one. He also told me that running a snake through the sewer wouldn't work, and highly recommended a high pressure water jet (which was more expensive). He adjusted the water intake in my upstairs toilet, which then started leaking into the toilet bowl. He said that I needed another valve, which he didn't have with him. At the end of the day he opened my sewer for a high price. To rub salt into the wound he charged me $125 for the clean out cap that he destroyed, along with the $38 toilet valve and he had neither part with him. I paid him the entire amount due, and he promised to return a day or two later to fix these 2 issues. That was 5 months ago and I haven't heard from him again. Do yourself a favor and avoid Plumbing 911.

Our job was completed during regular business hours and it was the the first time that we have used them.

At the end of the project I was very happy with Plumbing 911 and the way they do business. They fixed the problem that I called about, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was alright. Initially, I was confused about the pricing I had been given and felt that I was over charged for the services I had called about, but I had nothing to compare it with and I am not used to dealing with house related projects. During the same visit, the technician had given me an estimate for some additional work that he suggested having done. He did this based on the condition of my sewer lines. I was confused about whether this was required work, or optional; something I could have done at a later date. As a result of this communication breakdown, I was unhappy with the prices. The company, actually the Owner, called me to resolve the issue that had come up. In the end, it seemed to be a matter of miscommunication regarding the initial service project and the suggested work. They were more than happy to work with me and resolve the issue, and explain everything in great detail. As a result, I will definitely be calling them if I am in need of their services in the future.

Dear [member name removed], Thank you for being a valued customer of our Family business. We appreciate your time in reviewing our business and that you trust to use our services again. However, I am sorry to here that you felt as if you were overcharged. As a family owned and operated business, all our technicians are to give service options, pricing and free estimates for our customers. I am happy to hear that our plumber did go over your service options and pricing for services and that you choose him to complete specific services to fix your plumbing need. However, it seems as if after the services have been completed, the price of the services have been weighting on your mind. We truly want each of our customers to be happy not only with our services, company and technicians. But to also be happy about pricing. I tried reaching out to discuss a customer credit and understood you were on your way out. When you get the chance, would you please call and ask for me directly, so that I maybe able to issue this credit to you? Again, we value you as our customer and hope to be your exclusive plumber and look forward to the opportunity to make this right for you. Dear [member name removed], I sincerely apologize that your experience with our company was less than expected. Furthermore, I am sorry that you are still having issues with your toilets. As a family business, we want all our customers to have a good experience with our technicians and services. However, it sounds as if our services did not produce the results you paid for. I would like the opportunity to make this right for you. There are warranties for services we provide and I would like to extend this to you for us to come and repair these toilet issues. If this is not an option for your home, I would be happy to discuss a credit on services that were paid. I have personally left you a voicemail for us to determine what would be the best approach to satisfying these services issues. In addition, I appreciate your time in making us aware on how we can become a better company. Looking forward to the opportunity to having you become a happy customer. A sales man came out, an operator and another plumber came out too. This was the first I have used this company and they were referred to me to by a friend.

The service was great. He came out one day and explained everything. I had to check with my husband and we went forward with them and had a new garbage disposal piping and garbage disposal itself installed. The piping had to get added to the new garbage disposal. He gave me a lot choices and options too. It was the same plumber who came out both days. Their response was very quick and prompt. Everything was included into the flat price. I wished Angie's List would let me give them an A+.
