Description of Work: My tenet had captured one of the bugs that she had found in her 3rd floor unit. She was afraid it was a roach. I took the bug to Hoban and they analyed it and detremined that it was some sort of beetle. They said it was a waste of my money to have the house sprayed for bugs, that this was probably a tree beetle that jumped from the tree in my yard to the roof and then into her kitchen. Spraying would not prevent that from happening again and there were no "nests" that needed to be extreminated. I appreciated the time they took and their honesty. All at no charge to me. Description of Work: I would definitely use this company (if needed) again! I called to make an appointment on Friday and the next available was Monday morning. The receptionist was empathetic and understanding and from the start they gave helpful hints and ideas. I was afraid we had bed bugs but was unsure. When the service guys came out they were super friendly and understanding. They listened and asked questioned pertaining to possible having bed bugs. As they inspected the rooms he encourage that I ask question and he was a wealth of knowledge. It was confirmed we did not have Bed bugs but even after the inspection he was giving helpful hints on what to look for next time we travel. GREAT JOB! :)

Description of Work: Owner of the company, Dave Hoban, is personally assisting me with my termite problem. He installed the system on a Friday at 5:30pm! He's been back 2x more to address questions, and check Sentricon bait traps. Despite my second guessing the system, he's been patient, and today we saw termites feeding on the bait. It's only a matter of time now until the colony is eliminated. I like that they answer their phones, and service is prompt. Hoping we get to the end of this termite situation, but I see the need for extended monitoring.

Description of Work: With our very wet spring, on warm days we suffered from more than our usual pesky carpenter ants. Typically we're able to get rid of them with over-the-counter products, but not this year. As much as I don't like chemicals, it was time to be more aggressive. Hoban's very polite secretary offered a next-day appointment. Rick was extremely professional and helpful in explaining why we're having more trouble than usual this year. He searched with no luck for the nest outside and in the basement. He sprayed the interior baseboards and exterior perimeter of our house. Hoban guarantees their work for 90 days, but so far we haven't seen even one ant.

Description of Work: Technician inspected attic where mice were living, put down snap traps and bait packs. Inspected outside of house and areas to determine entry of mice. Very knowledgeable, considerate, and patient answering questions. Inquired about any pets before laying traps. Returned in one week to remove any dead mice and left bait packs. 3 month guarantee. Very satisfied.
