They were great and took the time to see if they could pinpoint the source of where the ants where entering the home. Sprayed thuroughly and even looked under rocks and garbage cans outside and sprayed.

It is going really well. They are pretty flexible with scheduling around my calendar, which I truly appreciate. They are timely and I do not have to wait to get them here. I have been very happy with their work.

I have used Hoban in the past and would not hesitate to use them again. I have no problem recommending them to anyone with a pest problem.

They had to come back because they didn't go away the first time. The second treatment took care of the problem.

Yesterday evening I saw a mouse in the kitchen. I consider myself a brave and capable person, but I could use some professional help as far as my rodent fears go. I left a message after hours and told them my story and that I had to have someone come out the next day. I barely slept that night. I waited by the phone for them to open at 8:00 and Tina called me at 8:04 a.m. She was very considerate and answered my questions. Matthew had a call at 8:00 and Tina scheduled him to come out to my house right after. She also scheduled my follow-up for the following Monday. Matthew was AWESOME. He checked EVERYWHERE. He answered my multitude of questions. He put down a ton of bait packets. He was very patient and polite. I'm pretty sure we identified the opening, which he will caulk on the return visit. He explained to me that they don't usually close the opening until the mouse has eaten the bait and then exited to die. They don't want the mouse to die inside the house. I felt so much better by the time he left and I feel confident that I will no longer have a problem. I highly recommend Hoban.

Technician Tim came within a 1/2 hr. of phone call. He was very nice and professional. He sprayed the nest from the outside after locating it with a stethoscope on the wall inside! We have a 3 month time period to call him back if necessary, but so far, after the first two days, there have not been any yellow jackets around and it is now mid-October.

Started off on the wrong foot when Tim stated that there was a 55 dollar charge for coming out after he told me my problem was not carpenter ants and I chose not to have him treat what I thought was a structural ant problem. Dave the owner answered the phone when I made my appointment instead of the secretary and neglected to tell me this. Also, this charge is not mentioned in this companies profile. At first I wrote a check for the "appointment fee" that included an additional cost for the couple spots of debris on the roof. While Tim had the ladder out, I called Dave and asked him when exactly does his business tell the customer there is an appointment fee for pest control if no work is performed. I reminded him that I was at no time made aware of that and that I thought it was very unprofessional of his business not to not tell customers such. After stating this Dave asked to talked to his on site manager and after the conversation it was settled that I did not have to pay anything and the couple spots of debris removal were free too. I was returned my check to void. I understand the cost of business when someone has to come out and tells you about your problem and inspects something for you. However I also understand that not telling the customer there is an associated fee is unfair. I can say that Dave was very professional and did the right thing by not charging me for the appointment and to top it off did a little bit of work for free. Doing the right thing will make we use his company again and will cause me to recommend them to others. It is also the reason that I am giving them high scores because with every business there are miscommunications and things that get forgotten on occasion. It's how the business handles them that is important, and this company did it right.

Prompt, courteous and professional service. Technician wore appropriate protective clothing, and insured that I took appropriate precautions such as removing my pet from the premises, covering counters and food preparation areas, removing pet bowls, and removing myself from the premises for 4 hours. Warned me that respraying may be necessary, but that it was included in the $185 cost. Turned out the lights on the way out. In addition, their website was very helpful by informing me what I needed to do ahead of time, and what to expect.

Great! The ants were successfully killed, and he didn't charge us for the rat poison because he couldn't guarantee that it would work. We haven't seen any rats lately, however. He gave us good advice on how to prevent the problem in the future (i.e. removing a dying tree and bushes in our yard to discourage pests from living there).

They always do a follow up at no additional charge. They were very nice and helpful. They definitely listened to what we were saying and they took care of the pest problem. The price may be a little higher than average, but you get what you pay for. They were very courteous and always on time. They do all the stuff to provide the best service, including wearing the booties in the house. We have two dogs and we were concerned about them. They made sure nothing would affect them. The person that came out forgot to set up the follow up appointment and the office called to schedule it. I would probably have forgotten about it.

Everything was great for four weeks give or take. For the rodent problem, they put packets of pesticides up in the basement rafters. My wife expressed concern because we have pets. My son has two rabbits and guinea pigs in the basement. They came back two weeks later to remove the bait and any carcasses. We have not seen any mice since. The bad news is that my wife was cleaning up in the basement two days ago and there was a packet of poison on the floor. This means that it was not properly installed in the rafters and not disposed of when they came back. The animals exercise in the room where the packet was found and run around on the floor. I called the company to let them know what happened and that I did not know if any of the pets ate the poison. We called the vet and had to call an animal poison control center. It was $60 for the call. The pest control company came over. I told them what happened and showed him the packet that was ripped open. He stated that nothing had fallen out. I believe that he couldn't be sure. He stated that there was something in the packet that would deter anything but mice. The vet stated that this was not true. We had to go and get special food for the animals. We had the packet weighed and it seemed to be full. I believe that this company should pay for the $60 poison control fee and they refuse to pay it. We'll know in five days if there are any problems with the animals. So far, they are acting healthy.

We had mice in our crawlspace and attic, so we looked on Angie's List and found Hoban Pest Control. They were very prompt and the pricing was fair, about $145. The guy came between the hours they stated, inspected the crawlspace and attic, and set traps and poison bait bags. They came out again a week later to check in on the problem, cleaned out the traps, and sealed some points of entry. We haven't heard any mice since the last visit, but if we do we have a three month guarantee on the service.

The total results were great. Adam arrived on time .....was very thorough in perfoming the neccessary tasks.He made absolutely sure the Yellow Jackets were under control before he left.Hoban is still providing the absolute best in results and customer service.

I have used other well known pest control companies in the past and I find Hobans quarterly service contract quite reasonable.

They put bait traps in the ground for termites. They used non-toxic substances which does not kill the termites but prevents them from growing. They come once a month to open the traps to check for termites. They leave a note on our door if we are not at home. They keep us informed about anything they do. They also give tips and suggestions. I am completely satisfied with their service. They are responsive, punctual and professional.

What I thought was really great about it is that they use a non-toxic/earth-friendly treatment. This is one of the reasons I used them. It did make the service a little more costly than a normal treatment, but I was very pleased with it. They sprayed inside and outside the house for one fee which is usually extra with other companies. The ant problem was completely taken care of. They also offer a discount for the next time I need their services.

They came, found out what the problem was, took care of it, and came back a week later to make sure it was working. They did what they said they were going to do. We've already enrolled with them for an annual inspection.
