I had an excellent experience with Scott, the owner. He came the day after I called hime, he was on time for the appointment, found the problem quickly, gave me a very fair quote, and fixed it within about 45 minutes. He is my appliance repair man from now on. I highly recommend him.

This is my new favorite dishwasher repair provider. It was not the fault of the repairman that he had to come back multiple times, and I was impressed that during the entire process he was unfailingly polite and responsive, and his charges were more than reasonable, considering all of the work he ended up doing.

Scott showed up at 3:45 and was finished within 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Scott Moyer provided the most efficient service I have ever experienced. I called him on Wednesday, described the problem, and the repair was completed by 4:00 on Thursday. He expected the repair would require replacing the control panel and ordered that part accordingly. He assured me that if a new panel was not required, he would do whatever was needed. He gave me the cost on the phone for the expected repair and it remained as quoted- no hidden costs. That beats by far calling the manufacturer's customer service, scheduling an apt for an assessment ($79.00), then waiting at least a week for the part to be shipped and an appointment for the repair. The only reason for the and quot;Band quot; in pricing is that I appreciated his professionalism on the phone and did not do any further price comparison. I expected from past experience that the manufacturer's service would be at least double. Thank you to those who used Ace before and took the time to review.

I really don't recall the cost. Scott correctly identified the part I needed for my dishwasher over the phone and out came out the next morning to replace the motherboard on my machine. He offered some greatt advice on making sure my. dishwasher ran efficiently. Couldn't ask for more.

We tried everything and it looked like the main central processor was going to need to be replaced. I called the service man and he asked enough question to arrive prepared for the repair. He secured the parts he might need before coming to our home. He went through the machine thoroughly and checked everything. He only installed the expensive part when all else failed. He provided the part for slightly less than I could have purchased it on-line. I am a very happy customer. Great service. Good price. Hard to believe that we got this repaired for under $400 (which is what the Whirlpool folks wanted to repair it)

Scott contacted me straight away. My washer had been a bit wobbly for a while (like couple years). Had someone else look at it a few months prior and they didn't do a good job, and charged the same $$ amt to just look at it as Scott did to come and fix. Very happy with ACE/Scott. Will certainly use them again. Scott is very conscientious and does good work. He pointed out another problem with the washer that I wasn't even aware of. It's all better now.. Very happy with the service.

Scott was able to come out the day after I called. He is knowledgeable, professional and punctual. He installed the new switch and also gave me some tips. Great service.

We called him with our problems, he said he would call back that evening to schedule an appt. and did call back and scheduled for the next day. He checked our appliances, ordered the parts needed and promptly fixed them. He was knowledgeable and a good guy. Excellent Rating from us!

I would highly recommend Mr. Moyer. Repairs were going to be expensive and he was very honest about the worth of going ahead with the repairs considering all factors. Two other appliances he found were not in need of service and he told me how to correct the diffficulties I was having. I will definately call him again should the need arise.

He answered my call right away in the evening when I called. Made appointment for one day later, and called the night before. He called before coming to the house. He balanced the machine, said no other parts or services were needed. Did a load of towels to make sure it did not spin out of control. Very professional and I will use him again because he is very knowledgeable and very ethical. Not easy to come by these days. I will call him for any appliance repairs because of his actions. No hesitation! Update * February 2014. I needed a kitchen aid oven door repaired. He ordered the parts and installed them. Worked like a charm. Then the door broke again and he replaced the parts and repaired it again. He guarantees his service repairs. This all happened within the guaranteed time so I didn't owe him a dime! He is fantastic. He stands behind his services. He's truly a top notch appliance repair person. Will use him again!

Scott responded to my call very quickly. He kept us appraised of the part availability. Did a very professional job. In and out very promptly.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. I called on Tuesday 10/22 when my dryer just quit working, with a load of wet sheets in it, and another load in the washer waiting to dry, and house guests due to arrive the next day and the following day. Scott said he could come out that day, gave me a range of times late in the day, called me well within that range to let me know he was on his way, and arrived exactly when he said he would. He assessed the problem, replaced the part and got the dryer running, but he was not happy with the way the vent had been jerry-rigged on the outside of the house. He said he thought he could resolve that; called a supplier in Michigan to see if he could get the required part sent out that day, and promised to return the following day with the part to resolve the vent issue. The following day, Scott called as promised to let me know he'd be here in the afternoon. Again he called within the time-range he had given me to let me know he was on his way, arrived exactly when he said he would, and successfully resolved the issue with the vent, a task which took some amount of creativity on his part. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely call Scott again if I ever have any issue with a large appliance. His knowledge, punctuality, and level of service are top-notch, and his rate was very reasonable. And oh, by the way, just out of the kindness of his heart, Scott moved my empty trash and re-cycling cans from the end of my driveway up to the entrance to my garage. Thoughtfulness and going the extra mile? Priceless!

He comes in and gets right down to business

This is the 2nd time we used Scott the first was to repair our dryer about a month before the washer broke he did a great job he also fixed the door on our dishwasher. He was very nice and seemed very honest and upfront. Was there when he said he would be and if he was going to be delayed or couldn't make it he called. When Our washer stopped working he came out fairly quickly and we felt confident in what he told us. I would definitely recommend him and have every intention of calling him again if needed.

I called Sears for service on my Kenmore washer. I described the problem. It was apparent to me the timer was faulty. The serviceman arrived on time. He diagnosed the problem was the timer but none were presently available. One was ordered. He is scheduled to return and install the part now that more than a week has passed.

Awesome job. Scott was prompt, reasonably priced, professional and knowledgeable. Can't ask for anything else!!!!

We called on a Sunday. He called back and told us he was organizing is schedule. He called back same day to tell us he will be there Monday morning. He called before, he was there on time. He evaluated the problem. Ask me my input. Call for the new part. Came back Tuesday morning and fix it in 20 minutes. My washer is as good as a new one and I love my washer!

I stumbled across Scott @ Ace by accident, as I had called another company that didn't travel to our area. He referred and quot;a guy named Scottand quot; and gave me his phone number. At first, Scott came across a little abrupt on the phone. No small talk, seemed a little impolite. Told me he'd come out two days later and would call to confirm the evening prior. He called when he said he would, showed up exactly on time and even called a half hour before to let me know he was on his way. I thought it was a little odd when he knocked on our mudroom door rather than come to the front door and wasn't sure what to expect. He got right to work. Took off part of the door and identified a gasket problem. He fixed it quickly, explained the issue to me, gave me a guarantee on his repairs, and I couldn't complain. He even wiped up my hardwood floors underneath the dishwasher before reassembling the door instead of ignoring the dust. After talking to him while he was here, he was much more personable and very polite and professional. I heard him answer several customer calls while he was here and he had the same no nonsense call with each of them- just how it is. Brief and to the point. I would trust him to do other work for us in the future. Great work at an excellent price- about half the price for a service call compared to others that I called. Highly recommend him.

This is the fourth time I've used Ace Washer. Can say nothing but good about him and his business practices.

Scott is the real deal… Let me clarify that, he doesn't pay one penny to Angie's list in advertising, as a matter of fact he's not even a member. His clients nominated him to be on this site unlike so many contractors that dominate Angie's list where the more they spend the better the placement they get. My washing machine was making a horrible noise and putting out a burning electrical smell. Naturally, I stopped running the machine went to Angie's list to find appliance repair company that could come out. Of course, the guy with the deepest pockets, who spent the most amount of money advertising, came up first so I called them. Read my other reviews :-) these people were absolutely terrible and the flunky who answers the phone was actually rude even after I told her that I found them on Angie's list. I found Ace and he had a lot of good reviews so I called him. He was polite, listened to my problem, made suggestions over the phone, and then suggested that he come out and take a look. It's noteworthy to mention that all the other companies want at least $75 for the privilege of having them in your home, all he asks for is $35. Scott came out the same day and took apart the machine within minutes. Whatever was making the noise he repaired machine works like new. He said when he was done and quot;I'll just charge you the $35 service call.and quot; I had to $20 bills and nothing else so I gave it to him and said don't worry about the change... Can you believe he refused? LOL! I guess on my list of things I have to see before I die, I can cross off and quot;honorable contractorand quot;! He actually insisted that I take the change. Then he grabbed a piece of paper and a pen then jotted down the number of reputable company who can service my Viking range and subzero refrigerator. I wish I had more things in the house for him to take care of, I strongly suggest giving Scott a call for any major appliance issue.

Scott was very personable. I waited one day for him to service our washer, which to me, was wonderful and very much unexpected. He spent one and one half hours draining the washer and doing various diagnostics to ascertain the problem. The clothes washer's computer did not give an error reading, which complicated the diagnostics. Eventually it was discovered that a pump was faulty and that there were no pumps available in parts stores within a 40 mile radius. Scott told me the closest store was 42 miles away and it was closing for the night in 10 minutes. Further, the store was closing the next day (Saturday) at noon. I was sure he was going to say I was going to be without a clothes washer for the weekend and visions of a dreaded laundromat visit flashed before my eyes. He then said he would be here at 1 the next day, that somehow he would adjust his schedule to make that part run. From that moment I was sure this was really going to cost a ton of money. The next day within fifteen minutes of the promised time Scott arrived with the part. Within the hour he was done and the washer worked fine. The pump cost $110 and for over three hours of labor the total bill was only $201.00. I cannot say enough about this guy, but I will certainly tell everyone willing to listen that this is my go to guy for appliance repairs, and considering how these things are made these days ( oh, I sound SO old!) I am very glad to know Scott is nearby.

Before he arrived, I received a call to say that my oven was so old that a replacement thermostat was not avaialable. A big problem, but I was glad they did their homework before even coming out - this saved time and money. The technician could not find out why my dryer was overheating, as it did not do it while the technician was at my home. He suggested the possibility that my ducts needed to be cleaned out, and asked me to call him again if it happened to overheat again. He just charged me a nominal service charge, and provided me with contact info for a duct cleaning service. There was confusion over the date, and there was one no-show, and then he was a little late to the next appointment, so I would suggest calling them the night before to confirm.
