Description of Work: A service provider came out and assessed a situation I was having with my washing machine. He was unable to find anything wrong with my appliance, and offered to come out for free for 30 days if I ran into any other issues with my machine. No problems since then, and I should point out that the service charge is much less expensive than any competitors I researched. Great experience overall, especially since someone came to my home within 48 hours of my initial phone call.

Description of Work: Ace came to fix the dishwasher. It didn't act up for him so he charged a reasonable service call fee that would be good for 30 days if the dishwasher ended up misbehaving. It didn't, but I know who to call if it does.

Description of Work: "We were very happy with the quick return call from Scott. He arrived on time and was very nice. Our dryer is 19 years old and making load noises. Scott ordered a blower back and said that might be worth a try. |( My husband tried a new belt before we called ACE WASHER.) When Scott was unable to get the old part off without possibly breaking it... He didn't even charge us for the return visit. |We will call Scott next time we need service."

Description of Work: He was very professional and helpful. He tried very hard to find and fix the problem with my washer. He made two visits, and he ordered several parts. Much to his frustration he could not locate the problem. As a result, there was no charge for the service. I would use this service again.

Description of Work: The dishwasher didn't drain, so Scott drained the water out by hand and then started looking for the reason for the blockage. He removed a number of components to see the drainage hole and found it basically clean. He next worked his way up the connections under the sink and found a blockage due to poor original installation. He put a temporary fix on it for the day and returned early the next morning to add a new hose. Now it drains fine! When he announced the bill of $66 we were totally surprised, expecting a much higher bill. When we asked wasn't it too low, he insisted it was very reasonable! Will use him again and highly recommend his services.

Description of Work: I called Scott and he promptly returned my call. Before he came to the house, he offered suggestions for me to try before he came out. I tried these and they did not work. Scott promptly scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, and showed up at 7:30 am the next morning to complete the repair. Fair, honest, prompt, courteous, showed up on time, and completed the repair in a professional manner. I recommend him highly and will use him again. in fact, my freezer is on the fritz and I am going to call him again tomorrow morning!

Description of Work: Scott did an OUTSTANDING job! My refrigerator water supply line for the ice maker was disconnected to the valve and water was pouring all over my hardwood floors...and I was panicking....I called Scott and he knew just what to do. He told me to shut off the water for the house and this saved my hardwood floors. He was out within two hours and he worked on the refrigerator. Usually he doesn't work on refrigerators but he knew how to do it. He found that the leak was coming from the refrigerator as opposed to the water line and replaced a compression nut. He only charged me $50.58 to come out to fix it. He is extraordinarily honest and trustworthy! Also, he has fixed my dryer and was extremely reasonably priced also. He is fast and gets the job done right. He also cleans up after the job. He vacuumed the water out of the back of the refrigerator and cleaned the dust. I highly recommend him because he knows how to fix just about anything and handles the job efficiently and expertly.

Description of Work: Hubby and I were attempting to set up our daughters washer and dryer. Hubby called me and said the washer wasn't hooking up right, when he turned it on, it just made a humming sound. I called this wonderful gentleman at Ace, without missing a beat he said you dont have the water on. He went on to say it may be a tight belt from being in storage etc, but he felt it was the water issue. I went over to the house and sure enough the main water valve was not on, the washer kicked right in. Now you might think this is no big deal, but I do!!! This guy could have charged me a service call to "check it out" instead he was honest enough to trouble shoot over the phone- I called him excited as a school girl to tell him, I thanked him profusely, but he just said - "Glad everything worked out". Will I use this company in the future, you bet, I have given his name around to friends, and we are keeping a list "Jans list" of the wonderful contacts from Angie's List. Thank you!!!
