Description of Work: Repaired roof leak over family room ceiling where second story flashing had failed. As of this date, even with some hefty winds and rain since, no more leaks. Second time I had used them for a leak, first time in 2010 also repaired successfully. Both times they worked with me on scheduling and followup.

Description of Work: We had a small leak in our 5-year-old roof (they did NOT do the original roof that was leaking.) They came out to assess/give an estimate right away. I called them that evening to schedule. They told me it would be about 4-6 weeks to schedule the work, and they would call me when our job would be coming up. I called them at 7 weeks, and they said they were just about ready to call me. They came the next day and did the work quickly and cleanly. It looks fine, but won't know until the conditions are "just right" if it fixed the leak since it would only leak with the right combination of heavy rain AND strong wind in the right direction.

Description of Work: I cancelled my order as I was able to get repair of my roof performed prior to the scheduled date of service on August 6, 2013. Therefore, I have no need for this service. Everyone I spoke to at M & R was courteous and professional.

Description of Work: I used a Groupon to get a general inspection of my roof and discuss some concerns. The owner himself came out and sealed the chimney, exposed nail heads and pipe flashings. He recommended the chimney cap be repaired and we discussed a leak I have in my living room. He emailed me an estimate the next day and specs on what needed to be done to fix the problem. He will be doing the additional repair work shortly. He was very courteous and worked around my hectic schedule. I would highly recommend M & R roofing. Thanks for taking care of me!

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List coupon for the inspection of my roof and minor repairs. The office support for making the appointment went smoothly. He came on time and inspected my roof, making two repairs. He was honest in assessing my roof currently had no additional work needed and to plan for a new roof in about 5 years. This all fits my expectations.

Description of Work: Excellent work ethic - good people to deal with. Fixed a problem immediately that other roofers did not. When we decided to put on a new roof, they did a beautiful job.

Description of Work: I called M and R roofing to give an estimate on repairing damage from an ice dam in Oct. 2011. I identified myself as being a member of Angie's List and that is what prompted me to call them. Oliver, the owner's father came out on time and informed me as to what he thought needed to be done to rectify the situation. He was professional and sounded like he was solving the problem with as minimal expense as reasonably possible. He did not quote me a price but told me his son would email an estimate by Sat. (this was a Tues.) I did not get an email response as promised. I waited a week and 1/2--then called. Oliver's wife, Darla, answers the phone, and she apologized for the lack of response. I did receive the estimate--seemed like a reasonable price. I then called back to receive referrals from people that they had done roof repairs for. Most of the reviews on Angie's List were roof replacements, so I wanted to speak with people directly that had repairs. The owner said "I thought you found us on Angie's List--isn't that enough?" I requested the referrals which he said he would email me. None arrived--I called a week later and Darla assured me she would have them sent. None arrived. I exhausted my efforts there.

Description of Work: I received an estimate to replace my roof. They came out to my rural home soon after I called and inspected the roof. They gave a very fair estimate in a timely manner. I received three estimates and decided to use another roofer. I feel they would have done a good job though. Before they left they gave me advice about my roof which turned out to be very helpful.

Description of Work: I received an estimate from Matt to replace the roof on my home. He was very punctual and provided a very thorough estimate which he explained in detail. In the end I narrowed my search down to M & R and another company, who I was equally impressed with. I ended up going with the other company, but felt that I would have received a quality job from M & R had i went with them.
