M & R ROOFING & REPAIRS, LLC

We had used this company earlier for a repair over our garage that they were able to locate and fix. Joe Rhoden came out promptly to look at the job, give an estimate and returned with his son and did a good repair. He took photos of the area and also took photos of my chimney and pointed out corrections I may need to do. Excellent. When we needed more work done, we called again. They replaced old worn flashing on our 15 year old roof and inspected our shingles. (Again took photos of the areas to show me exactly what needed to be done prior to the job) We also had them replace two skylights that were 30 years old and foggy. This time Joes brother Ruben was incharge of the job. They again were neat and on time, and with their crew did an excellent job.

Called to make an appt on Friday and they booked me right away for Monday (holiday). Joe showed up right on time. Very friendly and polite-looked in the attic crawl space and got on top of the roof. Cleared out a bunch of debris that accumulated over the years and suggested we wait and see if that solves the problem before we do more extensive work. Didn’t charge for the visit even though it was on a holiday weekend. That sort of honesty and service is extremely appreciated. I’d recommend to anyone and would call them again if required.

They came right out and gave me a me an estimate (which was at least $500 less than the next lowest bid), added another minor job at the last minute at a fair price. The second day the one worker worked all day by himself, as his partner didn't show up for work that day, but he stayed right with it and got it done, and came back the next morning for the additional piece I asked the. To do and clean up. Very nice guy. I would definitely contact them first next time I need something.

I could not have asked for a better company to work with. Matt was so patient with me and all my questions. I thank Matt, Reuben, and all the crew so much for all they did and the extra help that was given. You do not find to many companies that do not take advantage of you. I was so pleased with everything they did so thank you again.

I used M & R Roofing to repair some leaks in the metal roof on my home. I originally scheduled it for 01/13/2016. I was told that if they were able, they would provide an estimate and complete the work the same day. We had some snowy weather and the day before I recieved an email asking to reschedule as their roofers would be out working on existing customers roofs. This was understandable, and I was fine with the roof being rescheduled. I responded that 01/22/2016 would be fine to complete the work. I received an email response advising that they would be out between 9 and 10 AM, and that they would send a reminder a day or so before to remind me of the appointment.I did receive a text message around 7:30 AM the day of 01/22/2016, but I did not receive any email reminder the day or two prior as directed. The text message asked if today was still good for the repair, and I did not see the text message until 10:15 AM. As no one had shown up yet, I responded via text, email and left a voice mail at their office as no one was available to answer the phone. So I ended up rescheduling the estimate again for 01/27/2016. I text and emailed them the day of advising that anytime that day would be fine to come out and complete the estimate, to ensure the miscommunication did not happen again. They came out and completed the estimate, but did not have the materials to complete the repair that day. I received an email with the estimate on 02/01/2016. I agreed to the cost and estimate, and stated whenever they could come out and complete the work would be fine. On 02/02/2016 I received an email advising that they aren't sure exactly when their roofers will be available, but she will let me know of a tentative date once she knows when they can come out. From there, I did not receive any further communication as to when they would come out. On 02/08/2016, the roofers showed up at the home. I was unaware they would be coming, but was happy that they were finally there to repair the roof. I would estimate the repair took 30-60 minutes all said and done. We haven't had much rain since the repair, and I can't say I would know what the repair would look like if I were to climb onto the roof. I can say I haven't had any water leak into the home since the repair. The majority of my communication was with Haley Rhoden. She was very professional but the communication at times was lacking. Outside of this concern, the rest of the experience was friendly and professional.

Matt and Rubin were very professional, timely with quality workmanship. Realtor told me to put new roof before house sale but I did not want a shoddy junk roof so got 8 estimates. Matt gave most detailed estimate and was in the middle of all estimates. With only 2 weeks to get roof on before sale these guys made me their priority. Haley did great job keeping me updated during those weeks until Rubin and crew arrived. His entire crew worked like soldier ants. Everyone knew their job and they knocked it all out in one day. Even rained at noon but they kept watch and had everything covered. Cleaned everything up without a single scrap or nail anywhere.

I cannot rave enough about this company. Matt and Reuben have helped me over the years at more than one residence. They are always polite, prompt, hard working, and honest. They do what they say and are extremely dependable. There has been more than one incidence where I needed almost immediate help. They work very hard to try to accommodate 'hair-on-fire' customers, like myself. Kudos to Haley in the office as well. She does an excellent job of relaying messages to the guys and scheduling work at the customer's convenience. She is super courteous and conscientious. Her pleasant, sincere demeanor is such a plus. Simply put, an excellent company.

Originally scheduled for late June, due to weather work was delayed. I was kept informed of the delays. As in the past the work quality is excellent. Matt and his staff are very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended the company and will call them again when I need this type of service.

I wasn't here when he performed the service but I was in constant email contact with their office manager. They were very prompt and I would recommend them. I'm planning to use them again.

I had a great experience with M&R Roofing. Matt came to the house and inspect my roof. He was the only estimate I got that did not ask how much my insurance said they would pay to replace my roof. This made me feel like his quote was honest. I had reservations about replacing my roof in the middle of winter, and Matt did not pressure me to move forward with the roof replacement until I was comfortable. I waited until the weather was warmer. Matt provided me with a list of references and shingle samples. I also wanted a portion of the roof done in metal instead of shingles, and they did an excellent job with both roof types. The roof was replaced and finished over a two day period and the clean up was excellent. Even my neighbor commented about how professional the crew was in terms of their workmanship and staying on task. My roof looks great. The entire process was so easy. Matt and Haley were very responsive when I had questions. I would highly recommend his company.

They did very good. We were happy with them. They did a fantastic job for gutter cleaning. They also did a roof inspection with that. They didn't do a re-roofing but I'm going to have them do one if it warms up a little bit here. He was overbooked and so the owner of the company is the one who came and did it and he did a fantastic job. He didn't pressure me at all. He just explained that they do this to introduce the customer to the company. I was impressed. He showed me some things that had been done wrong by the previous roofer. They did exactly what they offered and was not pressuring at all, enough so that I'm going to go back to them to do a roofing job.

It went great! I called in initially and spoke with Haley who was very helpful and responsive to our situation. She had a crew out (Matt & Brother) to remove the ice dam within 1 hour of our initial call. They got the ice dam and snow removed very quickly and then told us about some potential ideas for preventing the problem in the future. Overall we couldn't be happier with how quickly they responded to our request for service and how nice and courteous everyone was to deal with at M & R. We will definitely use them again in the future.

The provider was very professional and had shoe covers when entering my house. Our house was treated with respect. He inspected the roof and climbed into the attic to look for signs of leaking or damage. The roof was found to be ok and the attic was clear. The only source of moisture found was a bathroom vent routed into the soffit. He prepared an estimate for me to have that vent routed to the other side of the house. He was honest that that vent reroute was not absolutely necessary. No charge was done for the inspection and estimate. I would definitely use them again for any roof problems.

We scheduled. The contractor arrived as scheduled and began work in a professional manner. Contractor kept me appraised of progress throughout the project (1 full day) and showed the product before application. Upon completion, the contractor cleaned up and removed all debris. Nice job, very professional and personable people. Fair price.

Right now all is going well, but it is too early in this project to give a detailed description of the service.

This is a response to the review dated 3/30/14 regarding M and R not following through with a request for services. M and R has responded to us regarding the review. They were very apologetic to us. It was explained to us how the mistake was made. We feel they do hold high standards of their integrity and made amends to us. We thank M and R for contacting us. This mistake should not reflect badly on past services to others and future services.

We noticed that water was leaking into our bedroom window at 130 in the morning. We used Angies List to find M and R and the issue was resolved by the following afternoon. The men were pleasant and professional and the price was very reasonable. We will need work done on our gutters this Spring and have no doubt that we will use M and R again. We've even referred our parents to them for snow removal.

They did a fine job. We had to redo our roof because the prior roofing company didn't use any felt. The job didn't take long at all - it may have only taken 2 days and the roof has held up well.

I called several other companies for quotes. Quotes went from, " you need a new roof " to getting quotes and never getting a call back for service. M&R answered the phone, made appts they kept, communicated during storm weather and when they showed up for initial inspection, completed the repair for minimal dollars ! Will definitely call back.

It went very well. They were absolutely on time. He was very good and honest. I was shocked that I had hail damage. He met with my insurance and they both confirmed that the roof needed to be replaced.

Matt climbed up on the roof on a cold day to check for the cause of a wet spot in our bedroom ceiling. He explained a possible cause might be an ice dam. He said the leak has stopped and is unlikely to re-occur. He offered to come back when the snow melted to re-check the roofing, but there were no signs of damage to the shingles. He explained the recommended use of rubber membranes in the valleys to prevent ice dam leakage. Matt was very friendly and professional. Since the roof is less than two days old, we will wait for the builder to offer a remedy. The builder finally responded a few days later- climbed into the attic and found that snow had blown into the ridge vent and melted above the bedroom ceiling. We will have the contractor correct the ridge vent.

I paid the deposit for the work in August and never heard from the firm again. I made multiple calls to their office to find out when they were coming and kept being told that they were really busy. I understand that, but they could have called. That did not happen. After several more calls, I was given a date, but no one came on that date and I did not receive a call saying they weren't coming. After another call or two, I was finally given a date, and a week AFTER the date given, the work was finally done. I am pleased with the work itself, but I was not pleased with the hassle of finally getting the workers here and with the lack of cleanup that was promised in the contract. Old roof pieces and strips of paper were left all over my deck. This company has a real problem with communication with customers.

We originally purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" during the summer for a roof inspection by M & R Roofing, and after the inspection, we were informed that a new roof was badly needed. After receiving M&R's estimate, we spent a couple months getting other estimates as well. M&R's estimate was, by far, the lowest, so we hired them to complete the job. During the process, there were a couple larger issues that arose because of how poorly our roof was built, but our expenses never exceeded what was stated in our original agreement. Work began on 10/4 and was completed on 10/9 - we couldn't be happier with our new roof! Oliver and the whole team were very nice and down to earth, and extremely easy to talk to.

Aside from a bit of a delay to get the work done, all went well. M&R roofing took before and after pics so we could see what was actually done. The fee was very fair. They replaced wood and painted. Great job! Would definitely recommend.
