Very good -- work performed quickly -- under estimate -- Chip was very friendly.

He solved a problem nobody else could. Others wanted to tear up the floor. The drain works better now than it ever has.

They did what we asked and the price was as quoted.

We had remodeled our bathroom, and installed the new toilet ourselves. It started leaking several months later (it was over the unfinished part of our basement, so I found the leak from below.) The technician, Matt, explained that this is a common problem when homeowners put down a new floor. He advised the the best solution would be to raise the flange, but that would be a much more expensive job, and he might be able to fix it by just reinstalling the wax seal. That's what I had him do. That was 3 months ago, and so far, it has not leaked. He did note that the work was not guaranteed because the flange was too low, and I understand that. He was done quickly (almost too quickly, given I had to pay for the hour minimum!), and cleaned up reasonably well (but not perfectly.)

He is polite and prompt and efficient. The work has held up so far.

Not good. Jeff's was called three times to fix this small leak. I don't think the tech knew what he was doing, as he would just replace some parts and a few weeks later the problem would return. The fourth time I called because it was leaking again, after Jeff's had repaired it in the spring, the dispatcher said I would only be responsible for the parts, not the labor. When the tech arrived yesterday, he said I would be charged for both parts and labor and this having been the forth time I had the fix the same problem didn't mean anything. Jeff's does not stand behind their work.

We called Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and had a plumber at the house by 11:00 a.m. The work was completed during the afternoon.

This is a 50 year old house, and he thinks the only way to fix it long term is to replace the 2 inch pipe connecting the kitchen sink to the main sewer line.

The plumber was able to come the same day the company was contacted. He was professional, efficient and completed the required work with in a reasonable time.

The plumber came on time, explained what could be done, and the ramifications of what might happen, considering the damage I may have caused with the "self-help" I tried (adding toxic acid drain cleaner to a tub drain's galvanized pipes). I tabled the tub repair because of the risk (snaking might break a weakened pipe filled with acid). The kitchen faucet had a plastic piece that is worn out - I will seek a new faucet set; the toilets are the only repairs that were done, new parts were installed in the tanks.

The cheerful lady who answered the phone told me that they could send someone out the next day at 8:30am. She said that the plumber would call me 1/2 hour prior to arrival in order to discuss what needed to be done, so that he can bring the proper parts with him. That next day, the plumber, Chris, called promptly at 8:00am. On the phone, he was very polite and professional and at the end of the conversation, he said he'd be here at 8:30am. He arrived right on time driving a clearly marked red work van with a large Jeff the Plumber logo on it. Wasting no time, Chris got right down to work, and he worked very diligently for the entire three hours and six minutes he was here. It was readily apparent that Chris is a highly skilled and experienced plumber. He clearly explained what he was doing and why. He was happy to answer my many questions. When it came time to settle up, the price was fair. I have no complaints. This is how it s supposed to be done!

The plumber was in and out in around 1/2 hour. So far, I am extremely pleased with the work.

They did excellent work, were timely, professional, and knowledgeable. They made a mistake but corrected promptly.

I have an old house which always has unusual issues whenever there is a repair, but the plumber was able to find the handle I needed and took care of the sink drain that I had two other plumbers look at that were unable to repair. This is my first time using the list and I will look for all my repair needs from the list members.

It went very well. No big job but nice to know you have somebody you can call on.

They informed me that they would be here between 11am-1pm, and it is 1:30pm and I have received not phone call nor have they showed up to fix the problem.

Chip the plumber came out for our first appointment. He did not know how big the job was going to be, he thougt he was just hooking up gas appliances. He was very nice, gave me an estimate for the work and scheduled an appointment for the end of the week. Chip called me personally the night before that appointment to make sure I remembered he was coming. He arrived right on time, did the work as he explained, cleaned up after himself, and the estimated price was the price it cost me. He explained all the work he did, and told me to call with any questions or concerns. I was VERY pleased and will use this company again. Chip also gave me an estimate to replace my very old hot water heater. I appreciated it since I know we will be looking at that cost in the next year or so. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Akron area!

Prompt, courteous, and neatly done.

Good work. I have used them before and have had different plumbers each time. This was one of the better ones. He was informative about the new units. He also worked quickly and effectively. The one issue is that I wasted a lot of time using the on-line request for service. I did it twice and each time, I waited for weeks with no call back. I don't know why they even provide that if they're not going to follow up; it's very misleading. I finally called one day, it was 4:45 and the office was closed, though supposedly the closing time is 5:00. I persevered and called the next day and then things moved very efficiently, and they scheduled me right away. They need to fix that part of their process, as they are very helpful otherwise, and reasonably priced.

They didn't return the phone call (note that I always leave my name and phone number twice, once at the beginning of the message and once at the end).

Plumber was on time, very polite, and although a little expensive, I would use again.

The people who answer the phone are very nice and assure you someone will call you back soon to make an appointment. A month later and a few call backs from me saying no one ever called, and I have yet to hear from them. It was for a fairly large job as well. I would avoid this company at all costs.

CHIP ARRIVED ON TIME (SERVICEMAN ALWAYS CALLS APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES AHEAD OF TIME TO ALERT YOU THEY'RE ON THEIR WAY) AND HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, VERY QUICK AND VERY METICULOUS. THIS IS MY 3RD EXPERIENCE WITH JEFF THE PLUMBER ... I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WITHOUT HESITATION!!
