We called Brian at 9:00 A.M. and he came to our house at 1:00 P.M. the same day. He arrived promptly as scheduled. After looking at our refrigerator, he determined that we needed a new compressor. He checked and found that the compressor was still under warranty, but the labor would not be covered. Since it was an LG and under warranty, the repair had to be made by a LG repair specialist to keep the warranty. So I needed to call LG to set up a repair schedule. His service call fee was very fair, and after paying him I asked him to look at my garbage disposal because it was making a strange noise. He found a piece of rubber caught in the blade, removed it, and did not charge me for this. He was friendly and very professional, and we will certainly call upon him again when needed. It's refreshing to deal with someone who is dependable, fair, and very knowledgeable.

Bryan returned my call in less than an hour, scheduled the same day and showed up on time. He was knowledgable, courteous and very professional. Before arriving, he called to confirm the model and serial numbers on the appliance to do some homework ahead of time. He disassembled the microwave, diagnosed the electrical problem and reassembled it in less than 30 minutes. He also ordered a small part and instructed my mother on how to install it at no cost. My entire family will be using Akron Appliance in the future.

After viewing Angie's List's reviews of companies that repair appliances, I called Bryan with Akron Appliance Repair since his reviews were excellent. He promptly arrived at my home and determined my dishwasher needed a new control board (he showed me why it was unrepairable). He installed a new control board in an efficient manner and at a reasonable price, and my dishwasher is a good as new. He is very professional, pleasant to talk to, and very knowledgeable about most appliances. I highly recommend him for any appliance repair.

Bryan came to my mother's home spot on the time we had set up for this work. He found that the problem with the stove was indeed a bad heating element. Had to leave for a brief time to get this part. Returned and installed the new element quickly. Problem solved! He was very professional and courteous and we both felt the price was very fair.

The service technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He determined what was needed, was able to get the parts the same morning, and returned to fix the dryer. We would definitely call them again for any appliance repairs.

Bryan was such an awesome repairman. Our refrigerator was not cooling and ice had built up behind the panel on the inside. He had to come back 3 times in one day until it had thawed and the last time was almost 6 at night. He did not charge extra was extremely kind and his prices are very fair. I would recommend him to anyone needing appliance repair!

Each visit, Bryan quickly diagnosed the problem, and promptly fixed the appliance.

Awesome! Bryan repaired the control board and the refrigerator was back in business. A lesser repairman would have simply replaced the board, but Bryan spotted the issue and fixed it on the spot.

As I suspected, he said that it would need a new circuit board. He was very honest. He said that with the cost of the board and labor, it would be about one third the same charge as buying a new dryer. He also added that with the appliance's age, it was likely that other things would go soon after.

Made service call on Tuesday 10/25/16. Dryer started while repairman was here. hard to repair anything which actually works. Paid for service call. Repairman said if problem continued they would return without charge for service call and do repairs. Next two loads problem returned. Repairman returned 10/28/16 and made repairs. Only charged for parts and labor. All works well. Good service.

Great! Got the part in as soon as he could and came out right away! Seems pricey but the part was more than the service!

Fixed washer and when asked if they installed ice makers he said he did and had one in his truck. He then installed the ice maker and only charged for the part. I later had problems with the ice maker and he came out and found the refrigerator needed a water supply valve. he order it and completed the repair. All services were performed in a very timely manner.

Brian is a solo operator and works very hard to please his customers. Very professional and knows his stuff. He struck me as honest and fair, his prices are very reasonable. He returns phone calls! What a concept. He came out the next day to inspect and was back the next day, as promised, to do the repair. He was done in less than an hour and the washer works like new. Highly recommend and will call again.

The repair person was prompt and responsive. I recommend him and would use him again.

When my Dryer quit it was panic time since I have 4 grandchildren that their cloths are done at my house. I called Akron Appliance as I have done before, instead of taking my money for a service call which most repairmen would do he advised me on the problem and I was able to solve the problem, which was a grandsons sock that had somehow fell down into the motor. This could have been a big dollar service and repair bill and I would not have known, but I dealt with an honest, knowledgeable person who took care of the problem. I will never use any other.

He was very good and it was my second time to use him. His charge was very reasonable. He was there when he said he was going to be. I called him that day and he was here that day.

I found them on Angie's List and they did real well. He figured out what it was and replaced it. I liked everything every about it. I called them, they were out, like, the next day and they told me what the problem was. They came back the next day and finished. They were very informative, explained what happened and resolved the problem. I plan on calling them again within the next couple of days.

I called Akron Appliance Repair (after finding him in Angie's List) around 9am and he was at my house by 1pm (although he said that was unusual that he was available so fast in the summer, he was so nice and honest that I feel like he responds as fast as possible). The and quot;repairand quot; turned out only to be reattach/move a spring which popped loose under the drum of my very old washing machine. Even though the problem was due to an older machine, rusty grommet, he reattached the spring in a different spot to get the drum balanced again, explained the problem, and stood there with me while I tested the washer in spin cycle. Because the washer is old and he attached the spring to a different hole than it was in previously, he told me to call him if it had any trouble and he would come back by and look at it. I really appreciate Ray's speed and honesty - he could have charged me a lot of money to replace something. I will definitely call Ray again if I need any appliances repair and will definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Any repairman you get you look for some basic qualities competency, honesty, knowledge in his trade, dependability, value(cost of service), Ray has all this. I have used others before and ask the cost before hand and then had some surprise extra charge onto normal fee. Not with Ray he is straight forward, I will certainly use him for any more needs in this area.

We will definitely call company again.
