We had a problem with a leak and weren't even completely sure whether it was a roofing problem or coming from somewhere else, since it was an intermittent problem in an odd location. We called the company and they took a look, and immediately said it was a relatively flat section of our roof. They sent an immediate estimate which was less than we expected. I asked about other options, including some that would have cost more and they explained that those options would not be appropriate for our roof. The job was done quickly, professionally and neatly. Can't comment on how long the new roof will last, but we have not had any leaks since the new installation and I have no reason to suspect that the job was anything but perfect.

They've been around for a long time and that's why I called them. They are very responsive, I called them just recently and they responded the same day or the next day and that's how it always is. When they say they are going to come at a certain time they are there. The work has held up fine and I don't have any complaints about it.

Salvatore had done a small job for me last year and I was very pleased with the results, so I had no hesitation calling them again. I had lost some shingles from a front porch roof during recent storms, and had actually had leakage on the porch a year earlier, so I knew a new roof was needed. I approved the estimate they sent for $1800 and they called ahead the day before to say they would be coming. The crew was very courteous. They removed the old shingles and found that the plywood underneath had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. The foreman did not tell me that there would be an extra charge, and this added $800 to the job. However I was not surprized because the house is old and this had not been done in decades and when I saw them putting in new plywood I anticipated an extra charge, When I had questions the foreman answered them for me, however the other workers had very limited English.. They did a great job cleaning up. I can hardly tell that they were here. The roof looks great and no leak when the next storm came. I might have been able to get a lower price if I had shopped around more, but I have developed confidence in Salvatore and do not want to fool around with the roof.

They were quick and very efficient. They were very reasonably priced and extremely neat. I would definitely use them again.

Kevin came to our home to give us an estimate for windows and siding replacement- days later we never received anything- several phone calls and never a response or written estimate. Big disappointment.

I called them and they came and gave me an estimate. I had to send it to the insurance company. When I got confirmation that they would pay it, I had them come back to replace the siding. I didn't have any problems with them. The siding looks great! I thought the price was pretty expensive. They got the job done on time. They didn't show up the first day that they were scheduled because it was pretty windy, but they didn't call and tell me they weren't coming.

I thought they would call the day before coming, but Julio called in the morning to see if he could stop by later. Fortunately there was someone home to meet him. He caulked the areas in need and apparently saw some other issues not in the original discussion. I appreciated the opportunity to try this less expensive solution before considering a much more costly job. One drawback, the workman left a dirty hand print on the light colored siding of the house. Update, 8-21-11: It is now two years later and the problem has not returned.

Salvatore sent someone out within 24 hours of my call to examine it and they gave me an estimate that same day. Once I decided to use them they had me mail a check for 40% of the estimate and said it would be scheduled within two weeks. Joe Salvatore called me on Wednesday before Thanksgiving asking if they could repair it on Friday (which was about a week after I sent the check), but I didn't get the call until Friday morning. I called him at 10 a.m. and he said his guys were already there and it was being replaced. They came, replaced the hatch and I didn't even realize they had come & gone. The work is excellent, the hatch is as requested and there was no dirt or debris left anywhere. My only qualm was that I wasn't home when the work was done (they accessed from the outside), but when I got home it was perfect and you would never know that work had been done.

We had a serious leak that we had attempted to repair several times-unsuccessfully. This had resulted in damage to the ceiling in the basement as the water had traveled throughout the house. Nick from Salvatore and Sons returned our call promptly, made an appointment convenient for us and was on time. Unlike several other companies, he made a thorough investigation which included climbing around in the attic and down in the basement. He even invited me to climb out the bathroom window to join him on the roof while he explained what he believed the problem to be and how he would fix it. I had a written estimate within 48 hours and an appointment within 2 weeks. His crew was on time every day, extraordinarily neat and courteous. The work was completed within the agreed upon time line. And the best news is that we have now been through a couple of severe storms with no leaks. It feels like a miracle. Despite being slightly more expensive than other companies it seems that you definitely get what you pay for. We would highly recommend them.

The estimate he sent me was the around the same amount of as the company I ended up going with. Based on my experience with him, I would call him in the future and recommend him as someone to seriously consider.

We were quite pleased, very satisfied. I thought they were very professional. We had anticipated a higher price, but we thought theirs was quite reasonable. They mailed the bill for the deposit and didn't come running for money. Very nice and professional. Had to work around the weather and they were out in 4 days. I found them to be quite good.

We were pleased with the work. The job cost what they estimated it to be, the work was done fairly quickly, the workmen were very friendly and kept the area neat while doing the work. It went a lot more easily than I expected.

The men were polite and efficient. And price was reasonable.

WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE, AND THEY WERE HAPPY ALSO. I HAD ORIGINALLY PLANNED ON GOING WITH SOMEONE ELSE, BUT HE DISAGREED AND SHOWED ME WHAT HE WOULD DO AND WE LIKED THAT BETTER. IN THE END, IT WAS A BIT MORE PRICEY, BUT OTHER PEOPLE WE HAVE TALKED TO HAD TO HAVE IT REDONE. WITH THIS COMPANY WE DID NOT HAVE TO HAVE ANYTHING REDONE.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT AND RETURNED CALLS IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE RETURNED CALLS WHEN I NEEDED HIM. THE ESTIMATE HE GAVE US WAS GOOD. WE PAID A LITTLE LESS, AND HE WORKED ON A PAYMENT PLAN WITH US.
