Description of Work: Partially stripped roofs on 3 different levels on an industrial building. Re-roofed all 3 three roofs, including around new A/C unit platforms that were installed by an A/C contractor at at the same time. Also removed old A/C platforms and other obsolete items and repaired the roof in those areas. J. Salvatore was very helpful, on time every day, met all promises and finished as promised. He worked around the A/C contractor who failed to complete their work on schedule. I recommend J. Salvatore and would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: Complete re-roofing down to and including new underlayment. Most soffits replaced. Gutter and down spouts replaced. Copper flashing around two chimneys and cement repairs to one chimney.

Description of Work: Salvatore and Sons replaced our roof and some of our gutters. The workers were professional, kind, and worked cleanly. They even cleaned up the debris that fell into our full attic. |The only problem we had was a miscommunication about price of replacing old gutters and the front flashings. The person who looked at them while the roof was being replaced, quoted us a price verbally and we went ahead with the extra work. He was mistaken about the cost and we did not find this out until they did the work and charged us much more than we had intended. They did reduce the final price a little bit, but we ended up spending quite a bit more for that part of the job than intended. We were happy with the work and the gentlemen who were at our house, only disappointed in the communication between the people giving estimates and the office.

Description of Work: Roof replacement. They were fired 2 days into the job. Rain was forecast for the 3rd day. They left without putting tarp on roof. It rained in and ruined new window installation. They were called as soon as the heavy rain started but girl in office could not locate anyone. Said she would find some one to come in a few hours. They showed up a number of hours later put small plastic on roof and left. We fired them the next day. They would not return one cent we paid. They quoted that they worked 8.000 of the 30,000 we paid for the job and they were keeping the rest for loss of profit. We had a lawyer call them and they then said they would meet with him and us but to this date we have not heard from them.

Description of Work: I contacted this company upon receiving a significant amount of storm damage to my home a couple years back. They were fantastic and very responsive at the time. This included sending a couple guys over right after the storm subsided to place a temporary cover on my roof to prevent further damage. Then within a week's time the same crew came back and fixed my roof seamlessly. Great job all around. So good that I referred them to my neighbor who wound up hiring them for over $40k worth of restorations on their home as well and this was recently in 2013. At the same time I asked them to come by and review some additional work I was interested in having done. They promptly came over and viewed the work and let me know they would follow up with someone else who needed to review the job. Well that person never came. I called the office and requested a follow up twice in the following weeks and never got a call back after leaving two messages. Next time at least have the courtesy to give me a call back and let me know your not interested after I handed you $40,000 job. Approximate cost of service $3,000.00.

Description of Work: What a relief! I had a great experience with Nick Salvatore and his diligent workers-they even showed up on Saturday morning to complete the job. I had a rush job for them, and they totally accommodated me, and performed beautifully. They had to replace some soffits and shingles on my roof, damaged in a storm, and did a great job. Nick was very professional and true to his word, they did great work and I am completely satisfied. They left everything in great shape, and were in and out in record time.I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone who needed work. Thanks, Nick!
