f Carlita arrived on time. She clearly knew about the appliances that needed repair and understood the problems we were having. She was very patient in trying to problem solve various less than clear electrical and gas cut off systems. In the end she was able to fix the problem(s) and more. I am waiting for estimates on possible future restoration work on the stove that I had been told could not be done

I called Belgrove Appliance yesterday in the late afternoon and by 12 noon today the problem was resolved. The response and custormer service was outstanding. Because I live out of the country (6 hour time difference) and have tenants in the apartment where the stove is, I particularly appreciated the excellent service, flexibility and sincere willingness to help. There's an additional level of anxiety when something goes wrong and you aren't phisically there or nearby to deal with it. Carlita kept me informed all thoughout the process and made several accommodations to make this a VERY easy repair for me, anticipating what would be needed and what would be the be most efficient and cost efficient resolution to the problem.She provided me with all the information I needed along the way to decide whether repairing the stove or replacing it was the best option. I will definitely call Belgrove Appliance again if I have another problem. I'm a very satisfied customer. Thank you!!

Carlita recommended a vendor and the prices were better than the big box stores or the internet. She coordinated deinstallation and installation of new appliances. I did not need to take any time off from work - an added bonus. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Carlita Belgrove was on the phone and monitoring the condition of my non-functioning refrigerator, virtually from the time of my initial phone call. She kept me informed as to the time of the repairman's expected arrival, and made suggestions as to how I could save my refrigerated and frozen food. Even while on the road, and attending to other business, she kept in touch. She spoke with the technician while he looked at my machine, and analyzed the problem. When it became clear that my refrigerator could not be saved, she offered me both a replacement "loaner", and to sell me a new model as well. Carlita was very gracious in not charging for any of her services. Though a technician was sent to my home I was not charged, because the machine could not be repaired due to the broken part that was no longer manufactured. I found her to be sincere in her efforts, and a person of great integrity, and honesty. I would not hesitate to use her services again, and found her to be completely reliable and trust worthy.

Over the phone, I got some practical diagnostic advice that led me to scrap the refrigerator. The advice seemed very credible and balanced.

Overall, I would say that Belgrove is very prompt, has great follow through and is very fair.

It is an indoor barbeque and it is such an old unit. She feels she has to replace some items. She has been very responsive. We like that she calls back and she sends us the bills and receipts on line and we just like her, we don't have any complaints. The problems are with the grill it is almost 40 years old. We will continue to use her services in the future.

They were here the same day I called. The person they sent out was very reliable. They were very courteous. I had no problem with them.

I got the impression that rather than providing a solution to my problem in doing repairs, she was pushing me towards buying new appliances. The two appliances in question were about ten years old, and she recommended I purchase new ones from her store. To be fair, I did end up buying one new appliance since I got a super deal. Instead of sinking money into the repair, I bought a new one from a different provider. I'm sure she is knowledgeable, I just was turned off that she was so quick to jump to recommending me buying new ones. She may have been correct, but it was just the sense I got.

I wish to tell you about the most exciting stove repair ever performed. Exciting? Exactly! The skill of the "The Stove Lady" namely, Carlita, owner of Belgrove Appliance, Inc. is unmatched in my book! I don't know if this is the proper way to report a company but I want everyone in the Tri-State Area to know what excellence is available to them. I have a 25 to 30 year old "Crown Stove" and it needed to be repaired for more than 18 months. On my fixed income, I could not get my stove to Yonkers because I live in Buffalo, NY. Carlita decided to come to my house via telephone on January 21st of this year. In a 90 minute phone call, she taught me how to break down my stove screw by screw, wire by wire, fix it and put it back together again! I called Carlita based on the recommendations on this site about my dryer. She answered the phone herself, asked me what the issue was, and immediately asked me if I had looked at the vent connection. Since I hadn't, she said to call her back, as she could come today, but might not need to. I saw that it was something I could fix myself, and immediately called her back to thank her - I had called other places, who all offered to come out for a service charge, she is the only one who helped me solve it on my own without even knowing me! I will definitely call her with any other appliance concerns, as she is clearly responsive, competent, and incredibly honest and responsible, even though she didn't come out to my place.

We called her and she very efficiently told us how to identify the serial number on the stove, told us how to schedule and communicate via her website and email. Really very efficient, smart, reliable. Great service provider!

Overall the service was quick and Ms. Belgrove was friendly and professional.

I was extremely satisfied with Carlita. She always responded to my emails incredibly quickly- even late at night! She was so helpful in suggesting what work I have done and what I should skip. She was very honest and even told me that the value of my stove was probably not worth what the cost would be to restore it (I loved it, so I had the work done anyway). When I went to her warehouse to view the finished stove, she offered to leave with me so I could find my way back to the highway. When she lost sight of me, she even called my cell to make sure I hadn't made a wrong turn! My stove is beautiful and I couldn't be happier.

This was a very positive experience. Ms. Belgrove did excellent work, completed the job in a very short time, came on time, called if delayed, kept us informed at every step, was most efficient, courteous, and pleasant. I highly recommend the company.

We have a 40 year old Norge gas stove. It is a great stove and when it broke we looked for a replacement. We were unhappy with everything in the store that could fit in the same 30" space. Everything that size was made with light gauge metal. There were professional stoves that were made well, but they cost more than $2000 and were all larger than 30". No one else was willing to fix our stove except Carlita. She got our stove working like new. The total repair cost was much less than a new stove would cost us and we are very happy to have our Norge working again.

I have a 40 inch gas range which are no longer made. When I was unable to buy a new one, the appliance store suggested I contact Belgrove Appliances. The "stove lady" was very pleasant and helpful. She arrived on time and fixed the two burners after checking out the entire stove. She looked very comfortable taking portions of the stove apart - like she had done it many times before.

I cannot say enough good things about Carlita. She was professional, prompt and pleasant. She confirmed the appointment and called to let me know she'd be a few minutes late due to parking issues (not her fault). She explained the problem in a way I could understand, answered my questions and outlined my options. I elected to have her make the necessary repair, which she did on the spot. My only regret is that she is based in Yonkers, which (due to travel time, etc.) made her services more expensive than those of her local counterparts. Despite the premium, I recommend her strongly and would absolutely use her services again.

She was very courteous, knew what she was doing and was able to repair a very old stove that belonged to my aunt. The service was outstanding and the repair complete. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Carlita gave me great advice regarding a compressor replacement on a wine fridge. Although Belgrove doesn't perform this service, Carlita took the time to help me understand the nature of the repair and the evaluate the replace versus repair decision on our current wine fridge (which is more than I can say about the previous contractor who was condescending and impatient with me when I questioned the repair, and then quoted a very high repair cost). She also recommended another professional who would be able to help with the repair if we decide to proceed with it. I would definitely use Belgrove in the future!

Carlita was fabulous, responsive, and VERY informed! I was completely impressed. I am a stickler for have someone who knows their business and knows how to treat their clients and she gets high marks across the board! AND it was right before Thanksgiving so I really needed my fridge to work! Carlita came to the rescue! (Sorry the report is so late!) I feel it wasn't cheap, but not overpriced either and totally worth it!
