Carlita Belgrove is the best! I have been a homeowner for almost 30 years and have never had a service provider respond so quickly to my request. My refrigerator/freezer broke and all my food was starting to spoil. I called Belgrove early in the morning before business hours just intending to leave a message and Carlita answered the phone herself! She was so understanding of my situation of a freezer and refrigerator full of food having to be thrown out she arranged her schedule so that she could make my home a priority. Unfortunately, I needed a new refrigerator which was more difficult than usual because it had to be one that could fit into a customized cabinet area. Carlita worked literally all day until well into the evening and found a supplier that had one to fit my space. Her delivery men picked it up the next morning, delivered the new one and removed my broken one. Carlita went out of her way by researching each brand of refrigerator and their dimensions to find what I needed. This was way beyond the "call of duty". She even phoned me that evening to make sure all went smoothly. If you ever need an appliance repair make sure to call Carlita at Belgrove Appliance!

Carlita is extremely professional and she fixed the dryer. They arrived on time and she called prior to arrival as I requested. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend to anyone in need of an appliance repair.

I was told by many other "can't fix, won't fix it r it will cost a lot." Carlita came and she fixed two ovens and six stove burners and it cost a 1/3 of her estimate. Would highly recommend her.

Arrived early in the day as promised. Were neat and thorough and the price was the lower of the two. Emergency visit was deducted form balance due. The same company made a different unrelated repair around 5 years before and this is why I returned to them.

We are thrilled! Carlita Belgrove, president of Belgrove Appliance, Inc and her assistant arrived exactly as scheduled, worked to figure out what problems the fire caused and fixed EVERYTHING in a matter of minutes. She explained what she was doing and taught us how to operate the pilot light ignition system should it ever be damaged again. Our entire experience was a most pleasant and informative one. We cannot recommend Belgrove Appliance, Inc. higly enough. They are wonderfully effecient and pleasant as well as being extremely knowledgeable and completely professional. I wasn't able to set up an appointment because the person who answered the phone cut me off wanting to know if it was an emergency because the office was closed. There was a reason why I called their office Sunday Morning and it wasn't to chat about the weather. It was the person's tone of voice that prompted me to write this negative review.

It's in perfect condition. First she is incredibly knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. It is very hard to find people who are knowledgeable about Crown Stoves. We baked with the oven last night it was perfect.

LEAK WAS NOT EASY TO FIND BUT THEY STUCK WITH IT UNTIL IT WAS FIXED.

Both my tenants advised that their ovens were not warm and one stove did not light at all but had gas so the tenant lit it with a match. After inspecting the situation that was indeed the case. Both magic chef stoves around 12-13 years old near end of life. But I wanted to make sure before buying new stoves by calling the stove lady for a diagnosis. After describing the situation Carlita replied within hours. After several correspondences even over labor day weekend a diagnosis day was scheduled. Before the day arrived Carlita asked for additional information on the stoves serial number and model number were asked so they can do preparation research. Upon arrival within 30 minutes both stoves diagnosed and issues identified. Good news was that the stoves do not need to be replaced. Parts were required but since she was prepared it did not take long to get the parts. She gave me a phone and explained everything before work was to be done including e complete cost and waited for my confirmation to continue the fix. On her 2nd trip back same day she managed to replace both oven ignitor bars new module box and one new right front burner. Confirmed working. She wrote the invoice at the end of the day. One other thing she mentioned was that typically one service call is $95 but since both stoves were in the same building and since I was the landlord theservice for both stoves were $150. That I did not know and would have paid $190 regardless, but she told me their policy. Both my tenants are happy with the service and resolution. All through the process we were in communication via email and phone as I could not be on site. And she also mentioned the stoves were in very good condition and barring an unforeseen issues and maintenance neglect, the stoves should last several more years.

We bought our washer/dryer combo from Sears 7 years ago, and the 5 yr extended warranty was expired. Sears wanted too much money to extend the coverage, and when the dryer started malfunctioning I thought I'd rather support a local business for the repairs. I was very impressed with the reviews on Belgrove and just as impressed when they came. Carlita, the owner, was highly personable and courteous, as was her employee Randy and the work was done fast and clean.

This is a wonderful company. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful, truthful, prompt and generous, skilled and pleasant.

Phone calls back and forth referring to the photos I emailed her from my cell phone. final decision was to buy new, not repair because of flaw in gasline in my wall.

Great experience! Thorough, pleasant, totally professional. I'd asked for a reminder call the day before, and a call when the technician was on his/her way. Both done. Carlita introduced herself, shook my hand and said what a pleasure it was ti meet me after our extended email correspondence. She carefully looked over the stove, reviewing on her smart phone our earlier correspondence, in which I had detailed the stove's infirmities, so nothing would be forgotten. Then she videoed the problem areas and dictated descriptions of what she was seeing. We discussed two options: (1) having the stove removed for major servicing (including re-plating the top); (2) in-home servicing that would fix all the problems except one, plus replacing some parts, and thorough cleaning. Carlita recommended the second option. She explained that this work was a meticulous business and would take the technicians between half a day and a full day to complete. She said I would receive a full estimate within 5 business days, and then we could schedule the work. I have complete confidence that everything will be done to my satisfaction, and would .

Our dishwasher had slowly developed a leak over the course of a month from a drop or two to filling a bath towel. They took apart the door, found the likely location of the leak and fixed it. A week later, the dishwasher was making a big mess again. A tech came almost immediately and spent a couple of hours trying to find the leak, to no avail. After a conversation with Carlita, the owner, it appeared that the dishwasher was at the end of its useful life. The next morning, I got word from Carlita that she had searched through all the repair manuals that night and had a new theory. They came that day and found a simple problem and fixed it--a loose screw in the spray assembly. There were no charges for the 2nd or 3rd trip. This experience is sadly rare--someone who stands behind their work and does what it takes to make it right.

Carlita showed up during the window of time that she gave me. She found the problem and had to order a replacement part which she did and she came back within two hours and replaced the defective part. She was prompt and professional and I would use her again should the need arise.

Belgrove Appliance (aka the StoveLady) did a great job. They were prompt, thorough, and taught me about how to better maintain my stove. I would hire Carlita and her company again in a minute. She was prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with. She kept me appraised of the progress on the vintage stove she was refurbishing for me. Great job Stove Lady!!!

I called Carlita on the phone to tell her what my problem was and she told me to try something first and if that didn't work contact her again. I really liked that she did that. It didn't fix the problem. So I contacted her again. She was on time, neat and friendly. She replaced the ignitor and gave me some helpful hints about maintaining my stove. I like that her service and the part is under warranty. I gave a B on price because I don't have a reference point if the price was fair, I assume it was, but who doesn't want things to be a little cheaper. I would recommend her to others. In fact I am going to drop off her card to a co-worker today.

Carlita and Randy were great. They researched the model and potential problems before coming, and came with the part needed to repair the most common problem. They were prompt, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me dryer care tips as well.

It went incredibly well. I contacted Carlita Belgrove, aka The Stove Lady, while she was out on another call on a Friday afternoon. She finished that job late but went out of her way to make it to our home before the weekend. Turns out a part had worn out but she had it in her truck. She came in and knew exactly what to do, did it quickly and cleaned up so nicely that it looked better than before she came. I am impressed. I am thrilled to know that there is someone out there who can help us maintain our great oven. Highly recommend. This experience was my first on Angie's List but I will return.

The company was very responsive, but was not able to come out to my area. Gave me some helpful possible solutions on the phone.

I sent an email to Belgrove late afternoon on Oct. 8th and Carlita expediently replied to my email and called as well even though her company was closed for Columbus Day. She was able to contact an independent service person she uses when she can't make it to the residence herself. I greatly appreciated that she made such an effort to get me an evening service call same day. You pay extra but I had wet clothes waiting and wanted to get this issue dealt with that day. She gets an A+ in books for professionalism and going the extra mile to provide good customer service.

f Carlita arrived on time. She clearly knew about the appliances that needed repair and understood the problems we were having. She was very patient in trying to problem solve various less than clear electrical and gas cut off systems. In the end she was able to fix the problem(s) and more. I am waiting for estimates on possible future restoration work on the stove that I had been told could not be done
