Jason is true professional. As a working couple, he was very accommodating. He arrived at our house in the evening so we wouldn't have to lose any time at work. After our initial meeting, he told us he would follow-up that same evening with a detailed work order and estimate, which he did. After hiring Jason, he told us he would arrive to start the job before we left for work, which he did as well. As for his work product, Jason did an outstanding job. Clean lines between wall and trim. He works very clean and precise. The sanding and staining work on our new staircase and French doors was great. Jason even pointed out a few flaws in the contracting work that was previously done which allowed us to quickly fix the problem. Jason even offered to come back after the job to do touch-up painting if any of the walls were damaged from the follow-up work. Jason is smart, trusting and has a great personality. He is very detail-oriented and I found him very easy to work with. Will use him again for future projects.

Jason came to the house for the quote on time. He looked at the bedrooms and we discussed exactly what needed to be done, including whether I wanted the insides of the closets painted (I didn't), and the colors. When he came to do the job, he made sure to cover the floors, including up the steps and down the hallway, and cleaned up really well when he was done. The paint job itself is excellent.

The original painters for this house did a really superb job and we were very hesitant bringing in a new painter to paint a few interior rooms in the home (while also changing color). The lines needed to be very crisp and there was a lot of prep and taping involved. We were extremely pleased with the work the Jason from Fresh start performed. He was extremely timely, professional and courteous. We have a lot of wood furniture and custom cabinetry and Jason was very careful to do a thorough job in covering everything to protect against any paint getting on our furnishings. We felt the pricing was fair given the high level of workmanship. We are very grateful to Angie List for referring Fresh Start painters to us and I would certainly recommend him to any serious or discerning person looking for quality workmanship.P

My wife and I are very particular and generally aggravated by household service providers. We were immediately impressed by Jason's attention to detail and offer to remove his shoes when he arrived to review our job and provide a quote. Our house is 93 years old with delicate plaster walls and original wood molding. Jason had the knowledge and easily spent twice the amount of time preparing the walls and molding prior to painting. Equally important to my wife and I was Jason's cleanliness and care with proper protection - including plastic runners across our carpet leading to our daughter's bedroom. Jason completed the entire job in 1 1/2 days which was almost exactly what he had planned. I would highly recommend Jason and we will certainly use Jason for our future painting needs.

It went great!! Jason is a great painter and knows what he is doing! Jason was respectful of my home. Not only was his painting meticulous, but there were always drop clothes over my rugs and wood floors. It was a very big job and he was always on time, and worked steadily through the day. I highly recommend his work and he was also just a nice guy. I was lucky to find him on recommendation of a friend and his work lived up to my high standards.

Came in with a fair price (not cheap) but worth every penny. He was meticulous and responsible and incredibly clean.
