Jason and his crew are fantastic to work with. They are experts at painting and installing wallpaper, as well as refinishing all other surfaces and floors. We have worked together on over a dozen projects and he always delivers above and beyond what was asked for. Prompt, fairly priced, and a nice group of workers to be around.

Jason was great to work with, starting with the initial appointment and throughout the process of getting my daughter's room painted. Jason and his men arrived promptly on both days, and were very professional throughout the entire job. I am very happy with the job that they have done, they had to scrape off old wallpaper that was covered up from the previous owners of the house, skim coat the entire room, and put 2 coats of paint. I would definitely use him again if we ever need painting done in the house.

Jason and his crew did a great job from beginning to end. They arrived punctually each morning. They worked quickly and cleanly (They use a sander/vacuum machine that minimizes dust). They did absolutely everything that they said they would do (even more) based on the quote they provided before the job started. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. My old house looks like it has new walls! Jason also helped me decide on colors (I'm not so good at that). His crew was respectful and friendly. I will definitely call Fresh Start when I decide to paint more of my house.

Jason is unreliable and takes short cuts whenever he can. Instead of sanding down the trim that has oil based paint he simply painted over it now everything is peeling. He doesn't listen to instructions. He left holes in the walls. He took down expensive window treatments, broke them then threw them in the garage (they are now not salvageable). Took shelving out of the closets and didn't put it back. Only did one coat of paint in most places yet charged me for two. All trim was either not done at all or done sloppily with paint all over it. Ceilings are lumpy. He wrote in blue pen on the doors to remind himself of the colors. He assured me everything would be done by June 27 and he lied. It is not done and we were obligated to scramble to hire a different painter to fix his numerous mistakes and to finish the job he was supposed to do. He and his workers are sloppy and leave garbage everywhere. My contractor had told him the water was off in the house one day yet his workers decided to ignore this and defecate in the toilet anyway. More than once. My contractor was obligated to clean up their feces. Jason and his crew are disgusting individuals and I would never use him again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone use him. He ripped me off and took money for work that was not performed. He was supposed to come back this past Tuesday, July 5, to fix his mistakes and finish the job. The day before he informed me that he is booked and can't finish the job until the end of the summer/early fall. We decided that we had had enough of him and that it was better to cut our losses and move on. We had 2 different licensed painters come in here for estimates and they each pointed out all of his many errors and omissions. Run don't walk away from this guy. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. They were extraordinarily responsive to all requests. The work was absolutely first rate. The price was fair anf all estimates were honored. Jason and his team exceeded all our expectations. We could not be happier.

The work required 2 days of effort. They were prompt, polite and meticulous. When they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves so that one wouldn't know that they had been there. I could not have asked for better work.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2 bedroom co op in Queens and the walls were horrible, there were multiple layers of old disgusting paint on the walls. Thank god we did our research and found Fresh Start!!! Jason and crew came in and applied multiple layers of skim coating throughout the entire apartment before he even began the priming and painting process. The entire job took about a week and we were completely blown away with the results. Our entire apartment looks brand new and I can now brag to my friends that I have the nicest walls ever. Jason is absolutely the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. He was on time everyday, his crew always clean up after themselves and Jason always kept me updated throughout the entire process. I never felt like I needed to watch over him or double check what they were doing. I would be remiss not to mention that Jason and his crew did all this in a construction zone. I had other contactors working on replacing hardwood floors amongst other fixtures and I was amazed by how patient Jason and his crew remain through the whole process. Thank you Jason for all your help.

Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jason helped us pick out a paint color for our Kitchen and installed grass cloth wall covering in our home office. We are planning on doing more work and can not wait to work with Jason again.

We had a wonderful experience once again! It was the second time we used fresh start interior painting, they are hands down the best painters I've experienced and we plan to continue to contact them with any and all paint jobs! Always such a pleasure to work with. They are super punctual, Jason always gives me an exact time that he will be arriving and comes exactly at that time. Jason is a great communicator and has expert knowledge and gave me tools to figure out and decide what would be best for our home. The painters are respectful, hardworkers, and really great at what they do. They prep the home and cleaned up everything afterwards. I love how my home feels, a fresh coat of paint really does wonders...I can't say enough good things about fresh start interior painting and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a paint job done well.

Jason and his crew worked on my home for two days. Overall, they did an excellent job. They came on time each day and worked very efficiently. Jason was very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us decide which paint color to use and best method of staining the wooden frames. He even offered us to come back later to do some touch up work after our kitchen renovation was fully completed. They are the best!!!

Jason came in when he said he would come in. Gave me a phenomenally fair estimate. He banged the job out in 1 day. My wife is happy. Need I say more????? Would ABSOLUTELY use Jason and his team again.

The overall experience was terrific. From the first phone call to the on-site planning meeting to the actual execution. They were very prompt over email, text message and on arrival. They worked very efficiently over 3 people and got things done much faster than expected. They put tarp over the furniture and floors and moved things as needed. The paint work was amazing with the straight lines and painting in the smallest cracks. They are serious at their job and are committed in a fast and satisfactory finish. Highly recommended.

From my initial phone calls and there were many down to color selections every detail was covered. I could not me more happy about my paint jobs but my master bedroom is exceptional. I dreamt about this space for years and my fear was it not coming out perfectly and that didn't happe. Both my master bathroom and bedroom is to die for. I don't think anyone else could have giving me these results, so I am eager I went with fresh start and more exited I was able to receive the level of professionalism I did.

It was very smooth. He requested that we clear out the area before he arrived which we did. He showed up at 8am sharp to get started. He had two other guys with him. They began immediately and were done 6 hours later.

Jason (owner) and Alex did a great job. They were prompt and reliable. Jason was easy to work with. He was obliging, calm and patient. He offered advice when asked.

Don't look any further!!! Jason and his team are nothing but the best. Jason is professional and really knows what he is talking about. He worked very closely with me to choose colors and finishes for an awkward bathroom and it turned out perfect. We are first time home owners so I really wanted this paint job to look great. I could not have asked for a better outcome. When we buy our next place, Im calling Jason again!!!
