The pack and move went well except for the following: * Arrived 1 - 1.5 hours late due to traffic. * Didn't bring Masonite even though I told them to bring it via email * Got a parking ticket that I had to cover (probably not their fault)

They were very professional and movers were so nice!

I"d been using their storage facility for six months after a cross country move. When the time came to move to my new apartment, it was a simple decision to use them. They are consistently helpful and responsive. And my move came to less than the quoted amount! Would definitely recommend them.

All went smoothly. Came in right around estimate. One of the things that sold me was the follow up by the sales person. It was never overbearing. The guys who did the move were professional. The only thing that was a surprise was the I was asked to pay for a parking ticket (they didn't renew the parking in NY on time). It seems this is a custom in NYC, however it was new to me.

They were big guys, and capable of doing the move, but they had bad attitudes. I asked them to set up the TV, but they didn’t hook up the cables. They took the rotating plate from my microwave and put it in a box, but I have no idea where it is now. They also used my restroom and did not flush the toilet while they were here.

The men came on time and moved the item without issue in no time. Since I had taken an hour, they asked if I needed anything else shifted around, but I w3asd just happy to get the unit moved.

They were pleasant and in fact one of the men is going to come back to help me put a bed together. They were very reasonable.

Although I had provided this company with a detailed listing of the items to be moved, the men who came to do the work seemed not to have received the information. I had also told the company that there was no elevator in either place and that the living quarters were one level up, accessible by stairs. The actual movers apparently had not been told this information either. My daughter had contracted with the company and paid the higher amount for insurance so that all her property would be covered. However, when the men came, the contract indicated that Men On The Move would only be responsible for the items which they actually packed. I think that I should have been told that ahead of time. There was no such disclaimer in any of the online materials which had been sent to me. My daughters and I had done most of the packing, but there were also a number of items which needed to be packed by the movers (which I had told my contact with the company.) Three men came to do the move; two worked very hard. However, when the delivery was made, there were a number of items which the movers had packed which were ruined. Also, in carrying the furniture in to the apartment, damage was done to pieces of furniture as well. The final charge was based on actual number of pieces moved and their weight. The movers placed stickers on each item to be moved as a way of knowing the count of items. After the day of the move, I found stickers on a number of items in the house which had not been moved (and were not supposed to have been moved). My husband and I were at the house with the movers, had clearly shown them what had to be moved, and were easily accessible to them if they had any questions. There was a lot of paper and tape which the movers had brought into the house with them, did not need, and left thrown around on the floors and counters.

OK - was suprised at the extra hidden costs that were never disclosed in the deal or on the phone . several hundred dollars that were not budgted for such as paying toll s and so on ... they damaged a few pieces and were surly about it but overall not bad at that price . The movers themselves were good and pleasant guys

From the initial contact with Dimitry, my moving consultant, to working with Joe, the crew foreman on the day of the move, the entire move was terrific! On a miserable, rainy, windy, raw fall day, Joe and his 3 men crew from Men on the Move arrived promptly to move my daughter's 2 bedroom apartment from Astoria, Queens, to Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY. They were an efficient, courteous, hard working and honest group of professionals. They not only completed the move in a timely manner but finished an hour sooner than originally estimated. Not one item was misplaced or broken. In addition, the final cost was $200 LESS than the original estimate. Men on the Move turned a very stressful event into a smooth, worry-free process. Out of 5 stars, I give them 10!! Will definitely use them in the future if the need arises.

They were right on schedule. Rob and Charlie did an excellent job. One of the big pieces, a cedar wardrobe, that went down the basement was a challenge for them, but not much of one. They got it down without any problem and set it up exactly where I wanted it. They also had a desk with a glass top. They wrapped the glass in a double blanket for protection. They were very professional and pleasant. I have used Men On The Move in the passed and was satisfied then so I called them again. All the furniture was wrapped carefully and nothing was damaged or scratched in any way. I would use them again any time.

The whole process went very well. I called Men on the Move to obtain estimates approximately 2 months before my expected move. Demetri came at an agreed time, explained the process and provided on-site preliminary estimates. During the next several weeks Demetri kept in touch and about 2 weeks prior to my moving date he came back to my home to give me updated on-site estimates. After I scheduled my move I received an email detailing the process, furniture to be moved, approx. number of boxes, price and payment terms. The move was scheduled for 8:30am on a Sunday. At 8:20am the movers were at my door. They worked efficiently, handling my belongings with care and were finished within two and a half hours. During the week I was contacted and told that my shipment should get to Charlotte on that Saturday giving me a four hour window. Later they brought forward the window by two hours, but on that Saturday morning they called and reverted to the original times. Again, the delivery crew worked efficiently, completing the job in a timely manner. One small issue was with their outdated debit/credit card processing equipment and their inability to accept card payments over the phone. However I would definitely recommend their services. .

I called Men on the Move on Monday, 9/22, shortly after 9am, for a move on Sunday, 10/5. I spoke to Lorraine, who was very nice, but who told me that she didn't think they could complete this move in one day - she thought they might have to pick up on Sunday and not deliver until Monday, as it might be too long a day to schedule for the men. She gave me a rough estimate for the move, but said she would have to speak with her boss and would call me in ten minutes. I told her I would be on a call, and she said she would call me at 11AM that day. The next call I received from them was on Friday, 10/3, when Lorraine told me she had a note in my file that we were moving on Sunday, 10/5, and was that correct? I told her it was - and asked if she also had a note that she was supposed to call me back ten days earlier, as we definitely were moving on Sunday, but not with their company. Lorraine was friendly and professional, but not calling when promised gives them a giant F in my book.

It went extremely well despite the size and difficulty of moving some of the pieces down a narrow, curved staircase. The two movers took care not to cause any damage to either the furniture or walls and used their experience to guide them with this near impossible task.

I was very impressed with the first move in June, 2013, Phil was the lead mover. He could not make this , August 2014,move, . , the 3 men that came were very polite but kind of sloppy. One fellow spent most of the time talking about his vacation trip (he's just returned) so the younger college student ran around doing most of the work. I asked them to pack up some kitchen dishes and what a fiasco when I unwrapped them yesterday, someone did not tear the bubble wrap into individual pieces, just kept folding it around the dishes so unwrapping I lost the first plate. The tape they use is real cheap , it stretches and tears with any pressure, so beware of the boxes they assemble. This was not a big job and it wasvery obvious what and how the remaining furniture pieces needed to be loaded but vacationer just kept on talking while the clock was ticking. The driver is professional and handles the truck with obvious experience. Do check the math if they use tolls etc, The rate the driver gave me did not accurately reflect the 'one-way' cost of using I- 95. He was simply not aware of the truck size and the current toll rates( I had it on my mobile) I would use men on the move again but be up front about what your expectations are, they appear eager to please and are very polite.

I called to get a quote. they asked for a lot of details and gave me a very accurate price. Two movers arrived on time. I was emailing back and front with Nicolas and he was very responsive. The movers packed everything with a lot of care. They were great. My things arrived exactly in 2 weeks. Nothing was damaged. I'm moving back soon already and I plan on using them again.

Moved us from Floral Park to Rye Brook 5 amazing movers and 2 trucks later.... Total time was the entire day but was never a chore with their awesome help

When my husband got a new job we were faced with having to move in 30 days. We got estimates from several companies, and decided to go with Men on the Move because they were not only least expensive, but also the most thorough in their estimate and flexible on the details. The estimator, Dmitry, took time to explain how he was arriving at the numbers he provided (sometimes a little too thoroughly, since we are both seasoned at moving!), and provided a full written estimate with options. One option was that they bring 2 trucks and they would move everything, and the other for one truck and we would handle moving the boxes and smaller items. We opted for the one truck and spent a couple weekends with a rental truck. The crew showed up on time, and were friendly and professional. They were careful with delicate items. The truck was loaded moved and unloaded in the amount of time they estimated and they came in within $100 of the estimate (on the low side.) Our cashier's check was for too much, and we received a refund check within 5 days. I would definitely use them again. My only "complaint" is that they only take cash or cashier's checks, but, as this was the case with nearly every mover we contacted, I think it is standard for the industry. Just very inconvenient.

It went great! They handled our furniture gently and worked efficiently to get it done fast.

It went great. They arrived early but that was fine. They packed my pictures into 7 picture boxes and took these plus 30 boxes and placed them in my storage unit which was approx.1 mile from my mother's house. Rob and Shawn were professional and pleasant.

Extremely meticulous. Very friendly and respectful about your needs. They took care of everything very nicely. I didn't have anything broken and furniture was disassembled and put together properly. Reberto and Ted were very good. In the middle of the move my husband had an emergency and I had to go with him. I left them there to do their work, everything turned out nicely and they are very trustworthy.

My movers Mike and Stanley were professional, helpful, friendly and prompt. The whole staff at Men on the Move alleviated my worries and made my move a very smooth process. I highly recommend the company and Mike and Stanley!

This company was the best!!! The estimate was very close to the actual final cost along with having the lowest hourly rate. They were on time, very careful & did not damage anything. The 3 men they sent were polite, very accommodating & professionals. I will definitely use them again & go out of my way to recommend them to friends & family.

the movers arrived a bit late but they stuck around until everything was done even in the rain. the price was very reasonable and they moved my things with lots of care.

They were good, they would lift heavy furniture very well. They minimumly banged things and they didn't break anything. They were timely. I had some scratches on my furniture though, i think they should gently place furniture down. They were responsive. ,
