Steamaster Carpet Cleaning

We had just had new carpeting installed in the bedrooms which made us realize how dirty the carpeting in the rest of the apartment was, so we had started researching companies and prices. Coincidentally, we received an offer from Angie's List for 3 rooms of carpeting at $199.00 and we went ahead and took advantage of the "Big Deal." We are so glad that we did. (It cost a tiny bit more than the offer price as they cleaned a little bit more than the deal covered.) They were easy to make an appointment with. They were also prompt and efficient and did an excellent job. We would definitely use them again.

I bought the $199 Angie's List deal and girded myself for battle - frenzied staff, no appointments for months, the usual Groupon hassles. But I got none of that, perhaps because I called quickly or perhaps because these are just good people. They were efficient and clear on the phone, and the 2 guys who came on time could not have been nicer. There was no showing up and "discovering" that it would cost more than we discussed; in fact, it ended up being a bit less (there was some question as to what the surcharge would be beyond $199, if any, for the bed or whether there would be any surcharge for the big sofa or the ottoman). 2 of the 3 rugs look like new and the sofa and chair are in much better shape than before. Ditto for the bed. And the guys were so sweet to my six year-old daughter, who followed them around like a puppy dog, likely getting in their way. Just one request: I'm in an elevator building that's probably easier to access and service than many homes. I think they should waive their $25 apartment surcharge on the spot if it's not a walkup and getting in is not a problem. (For what it's worth, we'd been quoted $450 for this job by somebody else, so this really is a minor complaint, as we ended up spending $275 total plus $20 each in tips for the guys.)

I called a bunch of companies and asked for pricing. They were not as good as another company I had used before but I would use them again.

These guys were great. Chris and Matt showed up on time and they didn't try and upsell us. We had a really bad purple paint stain right in the middle of of one of the smaller bedrooms and they got most of it out. We actually forgot the original color of the carpet and they just brought it back to life. We are extremely pleased. The low price was a special on "Angie's List Big Deal" and we are glad we took advantage of it. It was $99 for three rooms and we added the stairs for $50. Would use them again and recommend them highly.

From beginning to end my experience with this company have been excellent. They called to confirm my appointment, came on time and performed the serviced promised. The technicians sent were professional and exceeded my expectations. They even did a bedroom for me for the same price, no questions asked. In this day and age its hard to find a company that goes above and beyond to please a customer. My carpets look great. Thank You!

I spent about $500 to $700 for their services. They were very professional, came on time and did a good job. Their price was reasonable. I would use their services in the future too.

The cleaning was done well and I was satisfied with the results. The workmen parked a truck out front and ran a hose through the front door, which worked quite well. I was somewhat disappointed by a miscommunication with the office about scheduling the work. I had some old carpets that were buckling and saw from their website that one of the serviced they offer is stretching carpets. I had asked that they do that at the time of the cleaning. The woman I spoke to first said that they would come back another day to do the stretching. But the house was empty for the cleaning and we were planning to move the following day, which would make it much more difficult. I asked if it could be done the same day and she told me it could. When the workmen arrived, however, they told me that was not possible. The carpets had to dry before they could be stretched. So I had to go without that service, which was unfortunate.

They came promptly at the appointed time and were very cooperative and easy to talk to. Although they reminded me that it would cost much less if the rug were cleaned in my house, having it done "off premises" was my preference. They rolled and removed my 8' X10' dining room rug to be cleaned at their facility. The rug was returned and re-laid about a week later. I was very pleased with the experience and with the results. I would certainly use them again.

After measuring they went over the price with me since I only got a phone estimate based on my estimated room sizes. They got right to work, moving the few smaller furniture pieces I had in the way and quickly finishing the whole job. They put the furniture back with paper to protect the wet carpet, took my credit card info and gave me free spot remover and instructions on how to use it. The carpet was damp for about 24hrs but it felt like it was brand new. I will definitely call them back in the future since it was such and easy process. I recommended their service to my brother and will use them in the future for my office carpet cleaning needs.

They clean my rugs and upholstery about 2-3 times a year. They are really good and prompt. I am not sure how good their pricing is, but I like their service. I trust their service. It works for me. They did a great job with the kitchen flooring. They were affordable. It was acceptable to me; I did not check whether it was high or low. I will continue to use their services in the future.

This company was very responsive, customer service friendly, easy to make an appointment and fair. Our combined carpet size was too little and barely met their minimum charge so they offered to spray a protective coating on the carpet free of charge or clean some other upholstered item. My only 2 concerns were about the quality of the machine and thoroughness of one of the two guys that came to clean. (1) the machine used to clean the carpet looked quite old and didn't have the features that higher cleaning machines have (I am on the board of directors of my building and we recently bought a very nice carpet cleaner with drying and multi cleaning mechanisms). (2) I had to watch the younger guy clean the carpet and he didn't even move the coffee table to clean under it...it was when I asked if they moved it, they then did it (as they were cleaning up to leave). Otherwise, I would use them again.

The price was more than I expected but they were very good. The upholstery consisted of some couches, foam rubber pillows and a designer chair I have which was quite soiled; they did a good job on them. I will use them again in the future.

The service itself was excellent. The guys were in and out in about an hour and the couch and rug don't smell any more!! The scheduling was a problem. They were supposed to come on Wednesday from 9-12 and hadn't come by 1. When I called, I was told that they'd put it n the computer for Thursday, but they would try to get them right out Wednesday. They didn't make it, and I had to call them back at 2 and reschedule because they didn't arrive. Then they were scheduled for Thursday from 11-2, and they called at 10 to say they were about to arrive; again "an error in the computer," placing my appt from 9-12 instead of 11-2. They blamed it on the person who'd been working there for only a week, but still I wasted the whole day Wednesday waiting for the men to arrive. I'm glad I hired them, and I would do it again, but I'd surely check three times on the scheduling!

I purchased a Big Deal with them. They did a good job. They were very responsive and efficient. They came the day after I called them. Their price was very fair. The quality of their work was excellent. Their professionalism and punctuality was very good. I would use them again in the future; in fact, they gave me a price estimate for additional work because I am going to have them do the lower level.

They were very good. If there was something they felt they could not do, they explained it to me. They did a good job.

They arrived within the time period specified. I was given a call to let me know they were on their way. Two men arrived to do the job. THey were polite and professional. They performed a thorough cleaning job, and my sofa looks and feels clean again. I would definitely use this service again. THey also honored their Angie's list coupon.

The company responded promptly to my phone message requesting an estimate. They gave me an estimate over the phone based on my measurements. They set up an appointment promptly-- the next business day!-- and when they came gave me a revised estimate based on their more accurate measurements which was only $20 more than the original. They set up a window of 3 hours in which to expect them, and arrived near the beginning of that window. The company called to let me know when they were on the way and would arrive within an hour. They did. The 2 men were professional and pleasant. The work was very good and the carpets are much cleaner than when done by the last company I used. They did the worst carpet twice and I am amazed at how much better it looks. I would definitely use this company again.

My sectional is almost white and it had some dog urine stains on it. They told me right off the bat , they would not be able to get it off completely. I decided to go ahead anyway. They did such a good job, you can only see it if you are looking for it. I appreciated their honesty, their efficiency, and furthermore, I got a call from them today inquiring if I was OK with how everything had turned out. This is not a fly-by-night company (and I have had experiences with those). I will definitely use them again! Thanks guys!

They did a fantastic job and were reasonably priced. They were very neat and efficient. They re-arranged the furniture back after cleaning the carpet and also placed a foil under the furniture, so that it doesn’t stain the carpet. They also cleaned the carpets on the stairway and did a great job. I have used them for several years and will use the same in future.

All of the furniture is light colored and to be fair, was way overdue for a cleaning. My two chairs have a nubbed fabric that is difficult to clean. They managed to remove most of the dirt and it was great improvement.

I chose this company because of the reviews on Angie's List...I emailed three companies with A ratings on the list but this is the only company that responded to my email. I got an email from Joe, the owner and called to set up a time for an estimate. His technician John, arrived the next day and measured and gave me an estimate. The job was for the (very dirty) public hallways and stairs in our five story condominium. John, and George arrived today, on time. They were very professional, and friendly, even winning the approval of my very tempermental Jack Russell Terrier!. The job was very well done, I'm pleased and frankly surprised with the results, there was a renovation going on in the building for over a year and the carpet had taken a beating. I will be sure to hire this company again to maintain the carpet. Highly recommended!

I don't recall how much I spent but it was a fair price compared with other companies. They come in and work on the spots. They are quick and did their job. It was easy. I will use this company again in the future.
