Steamaster Carpet Cleaning

They were great. I originally scheduled the appointment on a Saturday, but due to work rules in the building, the super denied them entry. They graciously rescheduled for the following Friday. Knowing I was time sensitive because I was missing work, they showed up on time, did a thorough job, and finished within 2 hours. They moved furniture as necessary and were respectful of my belongings. They were understanding about the building's rules and didn't attempt to charge me for the missed appointment.

I was attracted to Steamaster by an Angie's List Mother's Day Special $ 99.00 for 3 rooms up to 250 sg total. I was given a convenient Saturday appointment and contacted prior to the crews arrival. Upon arrival Carl provided the cost for the addional rooms I also wanted done and then he and Mike went to work. Their steam equipment is direct from the truck so within an hour they had my carpets cleaner than I expected. Sadly, our spoiled little dog had to mark his spot the very next rainy morning. In any event I am glad to join the other A recommendations shown for Steamaster,. Job well done! y

They were good. Very respectful and on time.

The technicians were able to perform the whole job in the time the company said it would take. This was especially important to me , since I had to go back to work myself.They were also there at the time I needed them to be there(actually a little early!!) The price that was quoted , and agreed to , based on my measurements ,was actually considerably higher than what I was charged.How many companies would do that!!!!!!!!!! Overall, I am extremely pleased with Steamasters .They bent over backwards to fit my schedule . The technicians were friendly and knowledeable. And the price was better than fair , beating one competeter by almost 1/2 the price. There will be no other Carpet Cleaner Company that I will ever consider again!!!!!!!!!!!

The Steamaster personnel arrived early, were courteous and did an excellent job cleaning my area rugs.

The rugs looked great and clean. I wish I didn't wait so long to get it done. I was given an appt pretty quickly within the week I called. My appt was for a monday between 12-4. By 1:30pm they called to say they were on their way. They were in and out out of my in under 30 minutes. I am very happy with the professionalism of Chris and the other person and didn't feel uncomfortable with having them around the house. Chris explained everything along the way and was patient with all my questions and curiosity. I will definitely have them come back to redo the same rugs.

Fast job! I called and they happened to have someone in the area that day and were able to come over the same afternoon. Fantastic job, after years of one construction after another I was never able to clean my sofas since we were starting a new job as soon as the last one was finished. I can see the true color of my sofas again! the only thing is that I pay for the sofas to be deodorized and the girl told me there would be an "apple/cinnamon" smell for a couple of days, however, I was not able to smell anything at all so I don't know if it was done or not, but at least I'm happy that they look like new. Would definetely hire them again, I will just pass on the deodorizing option since I did not notice any difference on that.

A couple of major stains were removed and stayed pretty much removed in the following weeks. I was pleased that the carpet dried fairly quickly, and didn't create a lot of water on the floor. I had a couple of false starts - where two appointments were cancelled, and had to be re-scheduled; but, they were apologetic and went out of their way to come on Saturday to make up for the mishaps. They were fair with the price; I had over-estimated my square footage, and when they came and measured they lowered the original estimate. I was impressed that they were honest.

I had 3 oriental-style rugs steam cleaned, 2 dark colored runners and a light colored 9X12. The two men who came were professional and punctual. They contacted me just before they came so that I knew when they would arrive. They worked quickly and did a fine job. Of course, the light colored rug had to dry for a number of hours before I could see how it came out. When it finally dried, I was not so pleased with the result. In all fairness, I had spot-cleaned the rug myself a number of times (which I do not recommend for anyone to do) - but the coloring appeared to be uneven. The next day I received a call from Steamaster to see how I liked the job. I was impressed with the follow-up. I told them what happened and the head of the company, Joe Gulotta, told me that he would send people the next day to re-clean the rug. They came as promised and re-steamed the rug. It's slightly better.

I had bought a special deal thorugh Angie's list to have $200 square feet of carpet cleand by Steamaster for $89.00. I called and made an appointment for April 5 between 9:00 am and Noon. I waited for them and called to find out that they had put down Friday April 6. I knew they had made the mistake because I had other appointments on Friday. After talking to Joe and he promised they would be at my place at 9:30 am on Friday, I agreed to have them do the carpets o Friday morning. I wanted the carpet done for the holiday. At 9:30 am sharp the next morning, my doorbell rang. The two men who cane were very professional. They measured the rooms and when I mentioned I was going to be getting wood floors, they went back to give me exact measurements that I could use when I went to see about the floors. They dd an excellent job. They moved what was necessary, put protectors under other items, and gave me clear instructions. I would absolutely recommend this company to others. My husband and I were very pleased with the way the carpets looked after they dried.

I use them twice a year. They are excellent and professional. They are very good. Their responsiveness was fine. They are coming on Tuesday again.

They worked quickly. I think the techs were here for only 15 mins but the job included a 5x8 and 8x10 rug. I felt the price could have been better but what are ya going do? Now I have to clean rugs! Oh, and the drying time for the 8x10 rug was longer than expected - more like overnight than 6 hours.

I should have been told aboiut the $25. extra charge for apt. buildings but I can see where apt. buildings are a pain (special entrances, time restrictions, parking) also I feel that if they had spent a little more time on some of the stains it would have been a better job, just one quick washing wasn't going to do it and they didn't spend any extra time on the problem areas nor did they warn me that it was going to take some extra visits to het the job really done. They did give a 'free stain removal' sample which I thought was great, but found myself on the floor trying to get to the stains out last night. I wish they had warned me that the stains would still be there and needed more work but this morning the stains do look less (maybe it was the lighting) but I do want them back for a more cleaning. Overall everyone I worked with, appointment from the office, they called before they came, they were all very friendly, professional, nothing high pressured. Like I said I booked the again on today's special.

They promptly returned calls and showed up on time. very polite. They did a wonderful job. I had never had upholstery done and was very pleased. I have 4 dogs, 3 are small , and a longhair cat. I clean regularly but hair can be a problem. they did an amazing job getting the hair off the furniture and carpets. I had no idea it could be embedded that much. I am a big fan of steam cleaning for carpets and used Stanley Steamer for years. Nothing wrong with Stanley Steamer but they have gotten more expensive. Stanley Steamer uses your water which is not a problem for me. This company comes with its own tank of water and tank for removal. I highly recommend them.

These guy did a great job. They were prompt and very professional. Carpet came out in excellent condition and smelling great. I paid for service and realized afterward that Angie's offered a 10% discount. I called Steamaster and they said they will call me back and cut me a check for the difference. That was on a Saturday. On Tuesday I recieved a check in the mail for the 10% discount. No hassle like some other companies would do since you didnt mention the discount at the time of purchase..Overall I had a great experience and would use them again

so I will use them in futuure as the carpet cleaner I had used in the past is out of business, and wasn't as good.

The team arrived punctually and immediately got to work. they cleaned the tile and grout well. a small chip to the tile was dealt with by carefully sanding it.

Excellent work -- very professional and courteous. My only disappointment was my off-white wall to wall carpeting. The pet stain could not be removed. They explained that with the light colored rug, stains are almost impossible to get out. However they did try their best and left me a bottle of stain removal to continue to try.

They were fabulous and I loved them. Their price was excellent. They came very quickly.

They cleanup of the tile in the bathroom was good; the dining room and the kitchen wasn’t. They only spent an hour and a half here. So I think they need more time. They used a scrub brush on the tile. I think it requires more than the time they took. They had given some discounts from Angie’s list. I would use them for carpets and not tiles as that’s their specialty.

Arrived on time. Cleaned each piece separately including reverse sides. Could not remove discoloration on one cushion caused by denim dyes.

They were very courteous and professional. The did a wonderful job on cleaning the grout and tile.

The technicians arrived on time, they were extremely professional - they did a great job and were in and out in under an hour.
