I was very disappointed in the outcome of this transaction. I always try to be fair. The positives were that Steamaster was very good about communication and sticking to the tight time frame that i gave them to clean the carpet. So for that I appreciate their work. Prior to sending them off with the carpet I took pictures of the rug to see whether there was a marked difference in cleanliness when I got it back. Much to my concern, when the delivery men arrived with the carpet after it was cleaned I could tell from the moment they put it down that the job was not done properly. The carpet was clean on the fringes which I was very happy about, but the main carpet was in no way, shape or form, nearly as clean or vibrant as I expected it to be when I got it back. I called Joe to voice my concerns and although willing to discuss it found him to be defensive> He suggested that I look at the carpet in better light and brush the carpet at different angles to see the difference. I put the carpet directly next to the window and brush the carpet several different ways, but the carpet still did not look right. I expressed my disappointment and to Joe's credit, he offered to come to the house to do a once over, but hinted that there probably would be no difference. I chose not to take Joe up on his offer because I felt the job wasn't done right in the first place and felt it would have been more professional to take the carpet back and try it again with specific instructions on how the carpet should look. I in no way was expecting perfection, but as a customer, I found it unfortunate that Joe did not really hear what I had to say, understand that I had before and after pictures and was not there to criticize but rather to ask for the job to be done correctly. Due to these events, I had a less than stellar experience with Steammaster.

They were late but called to say they were running late and called again to say they were on their way. I was quite annoyed; they apologized for their lateness when they arrived. They got to work quickly and did a good job of cleaning all 3 area rugs. They even managed to remove a red wine stain from the wool carpet in the living room; the stain had been there for a few years and had resisted all attempts at removal. They also cleaned a couple of rug runners. All in all, I was pleased with their work.

Two young men arrived, earlier thanI thought possible, performed their cleaning procedure quickly and with no fuss. They then helped me put the two armchairs in the room for which i had purchased them. I was extremely happy with them, their attitude, politeness and good humor.The lady who answered the phone in the office was courteous and helpful. In all an excellent exerience. I will definitely recommend them to anyone else.

THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB. I HAVE NO COMPLANTS. THE JOB TOOK ABOUT TWICE THE TIME THEY HAD ESTIMATED.......CLOSER TO 4 WEEKS THAN TWO, BUT THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME.

Technician arrived, explained the process, cleaned the rugs, told me when he was finished, answered my questions honestly, completed paperwork and payment, said goodbye, left me with business cards.

I ordered Angie's List big deal to clean my grout in my bathrooms. They were on time. They were helpful in educating me with cleaning the grout myself. The grout came out great. I would recommend them in the future.

The furniture looks great, like new. They were flexible in the pieces cleaned in that we purchased a coupon for a sofa and loveseat cleaning but needed a sofa and 3 small upholstered side chairs cleaned instead. They obliged us with no problem.

I took advantage of a special. The men were very nice and efficient. They cleaned 3 carpets. One had two small stains on it but I didn't point them out to the men. A month or so later I noticed the stains were still there and I called Steamaster. He said I had waited too long and that the stains could have come after they cleaned. I said that they had not and would they please come and treat them. He said no. The main reason I used them was because of those stains so I wasn't happy even though I should have shown them the stains - they weren't that bad and I thought would come out with a normal cleaning. The rest of the rug was pretty clean to start with.

They were great from start to finish. We have a townhouse and they didn't scoff at going up or down stairs. Hard working, careful around furniture. Positive day all around!

Representative arrived to price out the job. After offering a fair price, started work immediately. Carpets were cleaned as a two-man job. Worked in a timely fashion but work was not hurried. Carpets were left looking ten times better than when the work was started.

The services were arranged to be carried out on 6/27/12 between 9 am and 12 pm. The company called at about 11 am to say that its employees were on their way. At 12.45 pm the company's receptionist called to say that its employees had had to make a stop and would arrive soon. I then spoke to the manager who said that the employees had mixed up their orders and offered to reschedule the services and also offered a discount. I prefer not to deal with unreliable contractors and so will not be using this company.

Easy to make appointment. Office even gave me a heads up on the day of service, as I requested, as to the exact time of arrival so that I could sedate my dog (very territorial) prior to their arrival. George and Carl came right on time. They explained what they were going to do and what I could expect after they finished. They measured the areas to be cleaned, and called their office for an exact price. It was a little more than the estimate I was given when I set up the appointment. That estimate was based on my measures which were approximate. The workers were very professional, yet friendly. The job took a little over 2 hours. My sofa and rugs are still wet, so I have not yet enjoyed the benefit of a cleaner house. However, they showed me the difference in appearance of my rug when it was half done,and it was so much better than the untreated portion! I rated this company a B for price, but really have no idea what a fair price for this service is, since I have not had this stuff cleaned in years. I used my Angies List coupon without any hassle. The workers were honest, polite and competent and I would definitely use this company again.

Steamaster did a great job. They are really professional. I've never had anything cleaned before. I researched others and their price seemed reasonable. I asked them a lot of questions and they were very polite. He answered my questions. He told me exactly what he was doing. He also squeezed me in on short notice. He said he was booked but would try to get me in.
