It went very well. They came and the installer was very nice. He really did a good job and it looks and works great. He was very professional and very accommodating. They even gave me a discount for the extra length that I needed.

one skylight was measured wrong (twice!) so it took several months (with a roof tarp during Sandy) to complete the job. Started late August and completed early December. Interior drywall work after replacing skylights was not included in the job, I hired a separate contractor after losing confidence in Prime. Be aware of this when comparing estimates.

i called couple times after sandy storm for a siding repiar. said will call me back but never did.

They were very good and very careful. They cleaned up after themselves. They are good service provider when they come out and actually do the work, but they just weren't that responsive over the phone. I did finally get through, but I had to call back multiple times.

It went very well. Although the day was dark and dreary, they had their own drop lights and completed the living room, dining room, foyer, and hallway. They did two coats on the ceilings and walls. They covered areas that we overlooked and were professional and experienced as they completed the job around 5:00 p.m.

It went terrifically. Work crew was respectful, professional did an excellent job, throughout including cleaning, up afterwards. Gino (the boss) was totally responsive to all our needs.

They did a good job - they sanded, primed, painted the trim outside the house. I paid for one day at $ 650- but it took them two days. We had to pay for an extra day to get the job done. But the overall product was good. However, I wouldn't do 2 painters for a day deal again since it didn't take just one day, and I would've wanted to know that going in...

The bedroom work was good; the bathroom work was sloppy and the walls were not prepped and sanded before painting.

It went well overall. However, they placed the siding in large plastic bags. They had these in my yard and did not remove them until after Mothers' Day. They used the excuse that there was rain but there were other days prior to Mothers' Day when it was not raining.

Went great. Price was for 8 hours of painting service. They did that and more. Really got a lot done. Saved me many weekends.

Don't really know what to say about this install, it just happened. Nothing special. They did the work, installed the cable and left. Nothing happened to talk about.

They were very good. The work met my expectations, they did a good job.

Overall, the experience was near perfect. The clean up was pretty good, but could have been better. There were some cigarette butts around and some some plastic wrappers etc. Also, apparently the banging on the roof, loosened a large amount of debris from the underside of the roof/attic ceiling which coated quite a bit of personal belongings. It might be a good idea to warn customers so that they can cover their belongings Otherwise, I really have no complaints and will gladly use them for future work and highly recommend them as roofers:)

Could not arrange appointments in a reasonable time period. Not responsive to phone calls.

Gino came to our house, went up to the roof, told me the roof is in decent shape, advised me how to care about the roof, recommended few products. Did not charge me anything for the visit. Will likely use their services for masonry work later this spring.

Office and painters were reliable and punctual, job was well done, but I would ask for an estimate next time before I secure any coupon so as not to be so surprised.

I ordered the one day painting from Angie's List and received the contact information and control number. My wife called and set the date for the work to be done. We decided on the colors, bought the paint and prepped the walls. The painters arrived on time and commenced imediately. The only break they took was for lunch. They did an excellant job and not a misplace stroke was to be found. Clean up was well done.

They were extremely courteous. I look forward to working with them if I win the foreclosure auction.

It was late September and my roof, which was now over 25 years old, was in need of replacement. I knew this would be a bit of a logistical challenge since it is a 3-story brick house, 15 steps above street level, with a 4-foot walkway and an 8-foot walkway on either side, separating us from our neighbors. And these walkways were the only access to the backyard. Not a lot of room to maneuver here. I called Mel, the contact person at PRIME HOME IMPROVEMENTS, and asked if Gino could stop by so I could get an estimate for the replacement. I had read some good things about Gino in Angie's List reviews. He did stop by at the agreed-upon time, checked out the roofs, and took his measurements. I found Gino to be both knowledgeable and personable. We discussed the minimum that would have to be done, along with a few possible add-ons. About a week later, I received a detailed 4-page contract from Mel via email. Over the next couple of weeks, we finalized the contract with the add-ons, and agreed on the start date of Monday, November 5th. Mel was very responsive to me by phone/email throughout the job. Hurricane Sandy hit this area the week before November 5th and, despite all the difficulties, PRIME kept their commitment and started work on the date agreed to. The crew that showed up on Monday morning was led by a fellow named Danilo. He and his 3 workers placed tarp on either side of the house and started the hard work of removing the old shingles and gutters. They worked all day with temperatures in the 35-50 degree range. The next day, the truckload of new materials arrived, and they worked all day putting on the new roofs. This included replacing some rotted wood, installing the ice and water barrier on all roof edges, installing the perimeter drip edge, applying the 15 lb. felt paper, and installing the shingles. Also, for the main roof, a ridge vent and ridge caps were installed. This work continued into Wednesday, when they also performed the clean-up by loading all the old roofing debris that had piled up on both sides of the house, into a big truck to be carted away. They did a good job with the cleanup. Unfortunately, they had to leave early on Wednesday afternoon, after 'buttoning' things up, because we were hit by a Nor'easter winter storm that left about 5" of snow on the ground by nightfall. On Thursday morning, I was very pleased when they showed up to complete the roofing job. I have to say that I found Danilo to be a very good crew leader. His team worked very hard and very well together. While following the contract specs, Danilo did do me some small favors on the side. He also reacted quickly when I identified a problem that one of my neighbors pointed out that a vent on the side of their house was damaged by the work. On Friday, a separate crew showed up to finish the job with the gutter/leader work. This work seems to have been done well also. Overall, my experience with PRME HOME IMPROVEMENTS was a very good one. There is one thing that I would do better next time. Over-and-above the agreed-upon price quote, PRIME charges $70 per 4'x8' plywood sheet to replace rotten wood, per the contract. I expected some of this but did not pay close attention. Next time, I would let the crew leader know from the start that I want to know about and keep track of the sheets as they are used...just common sense. The final price was $10,740 minus a $500 discount for Angie's List customers, for a total due of $10,240.

Went OK. Price cheap. Did not instal cable in gutter itself or downspouts, which I found out is preferred procedure. Partly my fault for not reuse searching more and questioning what would be included. Have not had a problem with icing so far, but should have spent more for cabling gutter itself and downspouts.

Mr. Garcia arrived on time and listened to how I wanted the livingroom painted. He spoke fluent english and informed me of how my painting request would be fulfilled. I was delighted with the paint job and would request Edgar Garcia again in the near future because of his pleasant and professional manner.

One painter for 8hrs. was very professional and made sure he understood how I wanted the paint job done for 1 1/2 rooms. He was courteous and spoke very good english. I would definately use Prime Home Improvement again in the near future because the painter explained everything he was doing from start to finish.
