My gripes: I would have liked to have seen Gino show up with his crew on the first morning and at one point I had to call him to get his crew to adhere to contracted work (which was a miscommunication). I was not on site the one time he did show up (again he can't be faulted for that.) In the end I got a good roof at a good price and the yard was returned from 9th ward back to pre-Katrina. I called to follow up with gutters and eventually had them done by someone else mostly due to my impatience. I might be a difficult client.

Very professional throughout, from the first meeting for an estimate to responsivess to questions, and ability to reach office staff for follow-up. The work was done in a timely & professional manner.

They were excellent, as was the price. They were good from all aspects.

The promised date for work was February 15, 2010. The work was done 5/21/2010. The color was nicely matched with the rest of the house and seems to be very well installed. I would like to ask them back for more services but waiting over three months without contact makes me think twice. Work: Excellent, Punctuality: Bad.

Received estimate, chose products. Workmen were fast and good. After installation there was less than perfect function of front door latch which required 2 re-visits to fix, but now it's perfect. We chose higher priced windows for one room and lower priced windows for all the othr rooms. If I had t do it over I would order higher priced, better quality windows all around. A few of the screens on the lower priced windows slip down when you don't want them to.

I thought they were great. They did a lot of little extra things, which I really appreciated. The owner Gino and Ron were very charming and great to work with. Ron is the best asset they have. They did a good job with the work and had a fair price. I was a little disappointed because paid extra to have no seems in the front and there is one seem that bugs me. They also left some debris behind. I found a few areas where they missed the caulking and Gino and Ron actually came over and caulked it themselves. They provide great customer service. Overall, I am very glad that I found them and had them do the work. The windows and the siding look great.

Vincent and his crew were great; Vincent was very conscientious and diligent about making sure the job was done correctly. The roof was repaired properly and quickly and you couldn't tell where the patch was located when they were done. The flashing work was also great. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after they were finished. We will use them again and recommend them.

We just moved into our house about 2 weeks ago and knew that we needed to get our roof replaced. We may have gotten another year or two out of the current roof but the patio and garage were badly in need of a new roof right away. Also we are planning to do some painting and wanted to have the roof completed before we did any major painting jobs (so we don't get any new stress cracks). Ron responded quickly to my request for an estimate and he was on site the next week to take a look at our roof. The following day I received an email with the estimate which was half the price of a major roofing company that had been on site the day before. Once we gave Ron the green light they put us on the schedule for the following week, only 5 days later. They showed up on time and were finished in one day instead of the 2 days Ron said it might take. They did a great job and the new roof looks great. Ron even offered to include a few panels of siding and a few leaders on our gutters at no charge (his way of saying welcome to the neighborhood). Once the job was done I noticed that on one side of the roof the shingles stuck out a little more and Ron said he would have a guy come by to trim it up. These guys are extremely responsive, gave us a great price and did a great job. We'll probably be using them to widen our driveway in a few weeks.

A windy storm blew a handful of tiles off of our roof. One phone call had a team at my house within 2 days and the repair was done in under 30 minutes. The team was professional and careful and exceeded my expectations.

We called their office for an estimate and spoke to Ron who told us he would come right over to give us an estimate. Ron arrived at the time arranged, looked at the work to be done, and promptly gave us an estimate. The price was very competitive. On the day the work was to start they arrived to do the work at the appointed time with all the tools and material necessary to do the work. The work was done professionally and exactly as we had asked for it to be done. There were no surprises or hidden costs or extras. We would definitely use them again.

It was awesome. Gino was on top of everything from the start. We had some critical date issues which they met. We have what we feel is a brand new home. From start to finish, we were kept in the loop by phone and Gino's presence. I cannot speak highly enough of the integrity, professionalism and personal treatment we received. Neighbors walking by our home, stop and comment as to how beautiful it looks. The stone of the fireplace chimney was artistic and has brought a whole new image to the house.

It was the Saturday morning before Christmas and I noticed water damage and cracks on my living room ceiling and it looked like it was just about to cave in. Went on "Angie's List" and found "Prime Home Improvements" at the top of the list and in my area. Called and spoke with a very polite and helpful young lady...she told me she would get in touch with the owner immediately...I was called back within 10 minutes by owner Gino Ciuffetelli. He was able to come within 2 hours..(on his wife's birthday!) and just before the snowstorm hit...he was very cheerful and courteous...(he even took off his shoes before coming in!)..he sealed the dormers and we haven't had a problem since...even after the most recent torrential rain storm...as a matter of fact...he left a message for me this morning to make sure everything was ok...now that's service!!!

The entire experience was excellent. The estimator gave us a couple of options for materials in various price ranges, and the estimate was quite reasonable in comparison to another one we got. The two man work crew got started right away, and paid a lot of attention to details such as keeping the front of the wall flush and visually appealing. Each measurement seemed to be done very carefully, and while progress seemed a little slow, it was well worth the time. We are so pleased with the end result and will use this company again in the future.

The job went smoothly and Prime was extremely professional. After receiving a number of quotes, all above $30,000, I called Prime based on the recommendations on Angie's List. The owner of the company Gino, made an appt., showed up as scheduled and gave me a price($17,900) that was dramatically below the competition. He explained how they worked, showed me the color choices, gave me samples of the product (which is manufactured by Cranes) a reputable siding manufacturer, and was very reasonable on terms of payment. Gino came by a few additional times to answer questions and give me quotes on special moldings at the front entrance and a Bilco basement door in the rear. On the additional jobs charged a low price for the carpentry and the invoice cost of the door and moldings. Gino called a few days before the actual work was scheduled, was there on time with a crew of 20 and within a couple of days transformed my old stucco house into a gleaming vinyl sided house with white trim window and doors. Wow, what a difference. Workers were extremely professional, all nails and debris were picked up each day and the follow-up details were handled quickly and seamlessly. This was a difficult job as the vertical wood strips need to be nailed into the hard stucco. But they had the tools and nailing to get the job done. I have a comfort level with Prime based on how they worked, liked their responsiveness to my many phone calls and will call them again for other jobs in the future

The original work was performed 12/08 and was a nightmare of incompetence by Frank, the supervisor, though the final result was OK. However, the screening on the gutter in the front of the house is now protruding up, allowing debris from a large tree into the gutter. We noticed it on 11/1/09 and I called Prime to report the problem on 11/2, 11/4, 11/6, etc. I have mostly spoken to Barbara who assured me she was notifying Vincent about it but so far nothing has been done. At one point 2 workmen did show up while we were out but apparently had no idea what needed to be done. They spoke to our tenant and a neighbor but no one thought to call my husband or myself although Prime has all our phone numbers. Anyone standing on the sidewalk just has to look up, the protruding screen is clearly visible. We have a 2 year labor warranty although this seems to be meaningless. On 11/30/09 I informed Barbara that if the problem was not repaired by 12/4/09 I would report them to various agencies including this list.

Our roof was originally done by a company that claimed to be affiliated with Prime, and was not done well. We hired Prime to correct some of the problems left by the other company, which they happily did. It's obvious that we should have used this company originally, and we will definitely use this company for all of our roofing needs in the future.

No services performed - returned a phone call and promised to follow-up with an on-site estimate - no one called / no one ever showed-up to provide an estimate

Gino from Prime was excellent and explained every detail of the project. He came on Friday June 12th, 2009 to give us an estimate and was very patient with all our questions. He stated he would begin in approximately one week. On June 15, 2009 he contacted me and stated he would begin on June 16th. June 17th the job was completed and looked amazing. Neighbors commented on the great job done by the contractors. We have already contracted with Gino again to do some work on our garage, I would highly recommend PRIME!

Made an appointment for him to come give us an estimate. He called about 15 min before the scheduled time to say he had car trouble and would try to call and come the next day. He never called back.

Contractor/Owner Gino Ciuffetelli was exceptional and very professional in all aspects of the job from start to finish and his workers were proficient in every task assigned, as well as performing with an efficient use of time and all traces of work debris were immediately removed and with a thorough clean-up. I would gladly retain Gino's services again for any future work for myself, as well as referring him to future customers.

Everything went very well. The company was very responsive to all questions and concerns.

They were nice and fair. I didn't end up using them but my experience was great.

I called and left a message in regards to roofing. I waited a few days and called back leaving another message. I have never received a call back.

He was very nice, but he told me that job was only going to take one day when in reality it might take longer. He was trying to help me save money, but I wasn't sure if we saw eye to eye on what I wanted to have done.

After reading Perry Hayes response on Angie's List, I decided to call them and apologize for not calling them on the morning they did not show up. He apologized profusely, saying they were a family owned business and all of the contacting is done by them, and there was just a slip up. I told him I would amend my report. They offered their services again whenever I would need them. So, they acted professionally after all, and slip ups do happen. I will consider working with them in the future.
