Went amazingly well. In addition to the superior job done, including the fact that the gutters are actually made on the spot, I must say that Mel Orellana is a very knowledgeable and charming fellow.

This is a great company, great people to work with. They didn't hound us, like many other companies...they gave ustheir price, told us about their product, and filled us in on some information we should know...then let us make up our mind. Their matter-of-fact way of dealing with sales was partly what sold us on this company. Also, every call was answered, we had multiple ways of contacting our representative, and never felt "left out to dry" with any issues. There were a couple of miscommunications within the company on timing and work to do...but these were immediately resolved, to our complete satisfaction. Would DEFINITELY use this company again, and recommend to others for their window replacement.

We dealt with Gino and he was very good; he took a lot of time and attention to spec the job out and to follow up. The workers were fast and thorough, and we are very pleased with the work. We would use them again.

Mel and his crew were very responsive to the fact that we needed somebody right away in the house to fix the skylight so that the painters could keep going in the inside. He got us an estimate right away, and fit us in his schedule right away. He called us a couple of times back after some heavy rains to make sure that everything was still OK and there were no more leaks. They were very professional.

We recently moved into a classic 1905 farmhouse. The home is meticulously maintained yet needed an interior paint job to brighten it up. I called Prime - as I had been referred by a friend - and they came over immediately - assessed the size and scope of the job, made notes to the quality and condition of the home, floors etc and gave me an estimate the next morning. We chose them and could not have been happier. The crew of painters - 5 men - came into our home at the time arranged, brought all cleaned and well maintained equipment, did a careful preperation of the walls and surfaces all while maintaining the highest degree of respect and professionalism. They finished the job on time and on schedule and left the home as spotless as it was when they arrived. The men and the service were efficient, timely, respectful, neat, clean and overall outstanding. I would recommend Prime Home Improvement to anyone - no matter what the renovation job. The owners were knowledgable, confident and respectful of our time and property. They get a five star ratiing from us.

I called Prime When I noticed water stains in the Living room, Kitchen and Bathroom after a heavy rain storm. I got a return call in with in a couple of minutes. Ron came out to give us an estimate and told us that he could have someone at the house the same day. With in a Few hours the workman showed up and worked on the Roof. It took 2 days for them to finish the work. The workers were clean and very polite. I am very pleased with the service and the price. I would recommend them to everyone.

This is as good as it gets. Gino provided a thorough inspection of the roof, explained the work thoroughly and returned a second time to explain the job in detail with my wife. Due to an illness in the family, we requested that the team start work after 10:30am and they accepted immediately, arranging to split a crew between two jobs. Needless to say we were very grateful for their flexibility. The proposal was the least expensive by several thousand dollars but we also felt the most comfortable with the competence and experience of Gino and his brother (the original proposal was for $19,500 but we decided to use Energy Star shingles which added about $4,000 to the material cost). The work was performed perfectly in about 6 days by a very professional crew, and Gino visited the site almost every day. The roof looks great and we were so satisfied that we've asked Gino to submit a proposal for additional work on our deck.

About two weeks after our first appointment we received a phone call from Prime letting us know that the windows where in and that they would be installing them right on schedule. Two days later several trucks from prime showed up to my house to take out the old windows and install the new ones. This was a surprise to me because when some places say that it would take two weeks to get something in, it usually means a month. The windows where installed in one day, the old windows where removed and taken away and after it was all done my house never looked so nice.

The work was actually done in October of 2009, but since we signed up to this website we figured why not ad our opinion about this company. The overall work was done in a timely manner and when it was all finished it looked great and so far not complaints. My husband and I loved their work so much, especially their prices, that we are having them install replacement windows for our entire home.

The work was excellent. I had concern about the layout of the new steps after the first day of the job, I discussed this with Manuel. He acknowledged each of my points, agreed with them, and adjusted the design. The remainder of the work was completed rapidly. Manuel displayed initiative and craftsmanship in creating a beautiful look for the finished job, including a really cool platform at the top of the steps using the leftover bluestone, that I was not expecting.

Initial work seemed fine. However, workmen damaged part of house fascia during repairs. Call back required because of leaking. Workman claimed he had run out correct sealant, apologized and stated he had repaired problem. Repairs only created an even larger leak. This time, it took me several weeks to get a response from manager, workmen failed to show up on time for two appointments, then finally showed up an hour and a half late for last appointed. Repairman offered no explanation from problem. Roof is still leaking after three attempts to repair. Workmen have never returned to fix damaged to house.

Contractor's workmen did not appear to be competent. First problem was that they decided to try throwing away debris in a corner of my yard without permission. They then agreed to cart away all the debris generated by project. Second, after a small section had been completed, it was clear that contractor was using poor quality cement and extremely sloppy workmanship : stones were not laid evenly, they often used cracked stones, resulting in water pooling, poor drainage, and other problems. After repeated attempts to get them to install the stones correctly, I agreed to partial payment if they removed their debris and left site in clean condition. Although they did remove most of the debris and cleaned up part of the worksite, they used leaves to hide the debris piles they created earlier in my yard, did not repair damage they caused during project, and left parts of the worksite strewn with garbage from their lunches and construction debris. Manager has refused to return calls or follow up.

I was impressed. The owner of the company actually came out for the estimate and a few times afterwards. We have decided to use this company for the project.

I was pleasantly surprised by the rapid response and attention given to our small job. My past experience with repair companies was if the job was small you would be ignored for weeks. Mel , the manager, immediately gave as an appointment , unfortunately nothing could be done because of the rain. The following day they showed up very early and took advantage of the dry morning to do the job. They worked quickly and well . The proof was that very later in the afternoon we had a terrible storm and roof has not leaked again.

Overall, I was very pleased with Prime's performance from the first call to the end of the job. Gino responded to my initial call promptly. He was friendly, warm and demonstrated a knowledge of roofing and roofing options. He took the time to answer my questions and make suggestions to resolve issues I had with a couple of gutters. After getting a couple of other estimates, I asked Gino to return to provide a very detailed summary of all work so that I could compare prices more accurately. He responded quickly and reworked his estimate to add every detail I requested. He could not have been more accommodating. I was unable to move ahead with the job initially and had to wait about 6 weeks. Again when I called, Gino responded promptly and within a day he came over, reviewed the work and confirmed the estimate was still correct. I signed the contract, Gino left. An hour later I realized I had forgotten about the $500 dollar discount Prime offered Angie's list customers. I called Gino who put my mind at rest - telling me they would honor the discount. The next day the building materials arrived and the following day his crew. I was impressed with the crew. They worked long days in the extreme heat of the very hot summer. They were friendly and professional and unrelenting. The supervisor kept me informed on the progress and any surprises that came up. He always made himself available to answer questions. When they had to replace more plywood than we had estimated, he showed me the old plywood and gained agreement that it needed replacing. My biggest surprise came when Gino decided to replace one gutter and added a downspout along one section of a roof to protect the side wall of the addition - both at no charge. He just thought it was the right thing to do. Due to the amount of extra plywood and flashing that was needed, the job took more time than estimated. The last day was very long for the scaled down crew yet they took the time to make some minor adjustments when I asked them to redo a piece of flashing that was not quite vertical. The only time hiccup was when my wife approved final payment on my Amex without being told what the final charge was. I quickly called Gino who assured me it was what we agreed upon and in fact, sent a refund check for work that was estimated but not needed. My only very minor complaint was that the final cleanup was done in darkness, and the next day I found a couple of scatter pieces of building materials around the house hidden in the shrubs. I would not hesitate to suggest them based on my experience.

This chimney had a leak that two previous contractors were unable to fix. Water had been dripping through our bedroom ceiling every time it rained hard since we bought the house five years ago. It was not looking that great anyway so I opted to take more drastic measures. The guys at Prime Home Improvement did an excellent job rebuilding it and Ron was an absolute pleasure to deal with. As for the leak, so far it seems to be fixed after testing with a hose. If it stays that way I'll be ecstatic, and will definitely hire them again for other home improvements, starting with my bedroom ceiling.

They were very professional and did what they said they were going to do.

It is relatively rare to have a contractor do precisely what they had agreed to do ahead of time. I had a discussion about that with Mel and Gino when they came to give me the estimate. Gino said that he was going to restore my faith in contractors. And so he did. The crew was on-time, professional, polite, and competent. They worked efficiently and tirelessly to complete the job in just a couple of days. I know something about construction, and so I also know that the work was done without taking shortcuts. The foreman, Marcel, was responsive to adjustments to the job that I requested during the process. Fabio, who came for the venting, had the roof open and completely re-sealed within three hours. I am hiring Prime again to do some masonry, and will update this review next month. I anticipate another job well done.

Contractor arrived promptly. I provided shingles. After the job was completed, I was told by the workman that the shingles weren't the same color so they used their own shingles which were even a different color. (I think that the shingles were from the original batch purchased when the roof was redone 12 years ago, but shingles on the roof had weathered). I had not been consulted about using the different shingles.

Outstanding work is done by every single employee. Gino and his team gave a million dollar makeover to my tired-looking 1962 home and made it look easy. Watching the rhythm to these guys work was like watching a symphony. Everyone knew what to do and they all worked together to get the job done. These guys are the "needle in the haystack" of contractors because you don't come by them too often. 5-star company. You should call them!

Many of us Home owners, have either hired or heard of the contractor from h***. Well Rest easy I found one that?s from heaven. PRIME HOME IMPROVEMENTS. I have to say they are fabulous. From the minute I met Gino the owner who came out to give me an estimate I felt he knew what he was talking about and the price was great. The next week the work started, They were on time! Marcel and his team of men are the hardest workers I have seen. These men didn?t stop, there was no beer drinking and no swearing, An hour for lunch and the rest was hard work from 7:30am to 7:30pm. At the end of each day They cleaned up. On the final day of my siding being installed Gino Came by to check on the job and to see if I was happy. I spoke with Mel who was very pleasant and informative.His cost estimates were very competitive and included capping the fascia with aluminum coil to prevent future wood damage something the others did not offer or mention. The crew was extremely professional.They showed up on time and all debris was cleared up at the end of the day.

It went very smoothly. There was no problem. Any kind of problem was resolved.

Ron was great. He was very responsive to our needs, working with the insurance adjuster, spending time with us to make sure everything was repaired correctly. The work was done professionally and neatly.

Took approximately 1 week from initial contact with Gino to completion of work. Came with three crews - one for the chimney, one for the front of the house, and one for the back. Masons worked all day until the job was finished. Roofers did 95% of the work on the first day, completed the rest in a few hours on the 2nd day. Excellent, efficient job by high quality workers. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
