Very good experience overall. Roof of the house was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Since roof was marginal in other areas, we decided to do a complete replacement. Prime tarped the exposed area until the weather improved. Would grade them as follows: A - Price B - Responsiveness A - Professionalism A - Punctuality I give kudos to the crew that did the actual work. They worked quickly in rugged conditions. The only negative in my opinion was that the sales guy was difficult to get a hold of at times. I had to to call into the main office several times to get the scoop on what was going on as far as schedule, etc. He was helpful when I eventually got a hold of him, but he was a little too detached from the job, in my opinion. This is an area for improvement. Would use them again/recommend them for roofing work.

We needed to replace the roof on our large garage which is a separate building next to the house. The rep visited us on the weekend as requested, gave us a good price and we accepted on the spot. We had done our homework and the price was very competitive. They started the job within days and just days later it was completely finished. And this was just before Superstorm Sandy was due to come roaring through. The roof was completely stripped by an amazing, hard working, efficient team and then the new roof was installed by that same crew. All old tiles and materials were taken away and everything left tidy. Three of the crew were kind enough to help me with the assembly of a large trampoline for the children!. Now that is going above and beyond expectations! I would recommend their work, their crew and their staff. We will be using them again.

I have tried to get in contact with them 3 times, and never received a phone call back.

An offer should not be made and then changed because of location.

On time, delivered what was promised

The guys were hard working and very nice but my standards are higher than the work I received.

Getting in contact with the company, after we purchased the deal, was difficult. Many phone calls were placed, very few were returned. We had to chase the company down, and we got one excuse after another as to why. When we finally did get them to commit to a date, there were some additional delays getting the proper paperwork done. That was not their fault, but had they let us know from the beginning, what was required, it could have been taken care of. When they finally arrived to do the work, we couldn't have been more pleased. They came on time, and were very thorough as they took off the existing two layers of roofing, and laid down a new base before installing the new tiles. The workers were very careful to keep the job site as clean as possible. There were a few extraneous nails we found after the job was completed, but all in all, their desire to do a first rate job was very impressive. My only hesitation in using them again would be based on the difficulty we had in getting in touch with them, and getting them to commit to an install date. If that is not a big concern, I would recommend them, in that the quality of the work was top notch.

Started the day agreed; removed old roof and replaced with new roof; excellent clean up!

This was the winter before last, where we had about 13 major snowfalls (16 inches or more) in two months time. The winter was cold and icy also, so the snow didn't melt off the roof. I was afraid that my house and or garage roof would collapse under the weight of all that snow. i bought your great deal for a very reasonable price. Three men showed up in a very timely fashion, put up their tall ladders, climbed up there and worked until nightfall to remove all that icy snow. I should mention I have a cape colonial. They were very prompt, courteous, and hardworking. I was very appreciative of their efforts.

We have used Prime in the past and were pleased with their quality, price and responsiveness. We had a few estimates done and decided to go with Prime's. After the official measurements had been taken, Prime placed the order with the window manufacturer (Alside) and got back to us nearly two weeks later saying that the windows were going to be about 40% more than originally quoted. It's still not clear to me whether it was the manufacturer's fault, or the estimator's fault, but there was definitely a miscommunication. Because we had a good experience with the company before and had our heart set on replacing all the windows in our house, we decided to go ahead despite the price difference. They did work with us to make it affordable, by providing a couple of different financing options. Once the windows were ordered, it was about two weeks before we were notified that they would be delivered. However we were not notified that they would be delivered to our house. The delivery guy asked my husband for help unloading the truck (he just happened to be home that day), and they put all 20+ windows et al into our garage. This was right before Thanksgiving, and they were supposed to come out the following Tuesday, so we would have to give up half of our garage until the job was done. The day the job was supposed to happen, there was a snowstorm, so Mel called early to reschedule for the following day. The following day I waited until about 9 am and no one showed, so I called Mel. Turns out they couldn't make it that day, but no one had notified me. Now they would come on Friday, two days later. Mel promised that they would finish the job once they started so it might go into Saturday. They showed up on Friday and started work, worked all day and did not finish. The workers told me they would not be back the next day so I called Mel to follow up. A few pieces of glass that were being picked up at another location were broken (not Prime's fault) and had to be cut again, so they wanted to wait until they could finish the job to come back. I pushed them to come back Saturday because I wanted to be able to put my house back together as much as possible. They came on Saturday and finished all but one window and the side lights that had been broken. When I asked about the one window, I was told that it had not been delivered. I immediately called Mel and was told that it was a mistake, but again I am not clear on whose mistake. The window would be rushed, but would still be another two weeks. Mel assured me that when the final window was ready they would also have the glass and would finish up everything at the same time. At this point, my garage was full of the old windows and packaging, so I still couldn't use it. Just today, they came to install the last window and the four side lights, but they still have to come back to get the rest of the garbage since it wouldn't fit in the van they sent today. Everything looks good, from what I can tell so far, and the windows are a huge improvement over the old ones. The workers were very neat and seem to have done good work. So, overall, I would say that it was not a smooth process but it was a big job and there were bound to be hiccups. I could've paid twice as much and potentially had an easier experience, but I wouldn't have been able to afford it at twice the price. I think Prime has the potential to be a great company if they can work out some of their process management problems. Scheduling, making sure the ordering process/delivery process goes smoothly, and communicating with the us about expectations for using our garage would be my major complaints. But despite the issues, I'm a fairly happy customer.

Great. VERY professional!

We had a little trouble connecting with the firm and setting a date, but that was the only problem we encountered. When the painters showed up, they did everything we asked and more, scraping, painting, and even repairing some fascia boards on the second floor roof line. They worked very hard, and we were really thrilled with the work.

It went very well, the painters arrived at the scheduled time and worked the contracted hours. I would recommend them to others and hire them again.

Overall, I was dissatisfied in the 5-6 times that they did not showup, including the time when one of the owners failed to appear after installing the wrong gutters and leaders. He said that he wanted to measure the job (which was measured by his brother the first time giving the estimate) but, measured someone elses home. I waited for him to appear but, he never did and then came up with this story. I found it hard to believe as he used to live on the street as I do and his daughter played soccer with mine on the school team.That is how I originally had him do the siding 10 years ago. Overall, I would like to say that this is ongoing for 2 months or more. Anyway, I'm still waiting and hoping that they show up to correct the issues but, hope is fading and will probably have to pay someone else to repair the problems. Last ditch call this morning and they say they will appear on Friday. Today is Tuesday. We'll see?

Prime did a great job. I got 3 quotes and Prime was the cheapest. I knew their work was good from previous experience getting my roof replaced. The windows look great. They even came back to touch up the paint on the outside and inside of the house. Gino and Prime were great. I will give them more opportunities in the future.

Mel responded the next day and I had told him that I would wait for the tree that was on my house from Hurricane Sandy to be removed first. I called the afternoon the tree was removed and he called me shortly afterwards. We set a time and date for the estimate. The worker never showed and never called. I called and left a message for Mel to find out what the situation was and he didn't call back. I had taken half a day off from work, losing pay for that time. I will never work with this company again as it is indicative of their work ethic to blow off a potential client that was going to need several thousands of dollars work.

This is the second time I took advantage of "the big deal". The men arrived punctually and did a very good job painting 3 small rooms with the paint I provided. They were polite and friendly, painted and cleaned up very well. I was delighted with the whole experience.

2 painters came to my house and were very pleasant. I showed them the work to be done and was very pleased with their work. My only issue was that given the direction and amount of time they had, I didn't want extensive prep work that would leave no time for painting. I left them to do the job and came back to find one of them was holding the ladder for the other one while he did a bit too much prep work up high. I felt that it was a waste of time in that only one painter was essentially working. But after clarifying that I didn't want them to worry about some of the details no one would see, they set about working. In general, I felt they were very good and I definitely will have them back. I'm not sure the "deal" was quite as amazing as it sounded, as they left me with a brochure of what they normally charge and it wasn't all the much different from the coupon I purchased. There was also a question that arose as the deal stated 2 painters for 8 hours but the owner told me it was for 7 hours. That's not what it said on Angie's List. But as stated, I was happy with the work they did. They cleaned up quite nicely and actually did end up spending basically 8 hours between getting set up and cleaning up. The head painter was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend them. Very professional.

Our experience with the paint work was very good, and the men were courteous and prompt and very nice. We did have an issue that for some reason was difficult to resolve with the company, so our overall experience was not as good as we had hoped. We were so grateful to have Angie's List help us reach a satisfactory resolution with the company.

I found via an Angie's List Big Deal. Painters were courteous, worked very hard, and got a large section of the house painted. There was a very high area that I wasn't sure if they'd reach, and they went overboard to get up there and get it painted. A lot done in a day, and quality was overall quite good.

The experience was absolutely wonderful. They were able to paint the windows with no tape. They really are pros. They were professional, kind, and did an excellent job. They were easy to have around and I felt comfortable having them in my home. I did have to change the time in order to accommodate my needs. However, the owner was very pleasant and made it convenient for me. They were polite, competent, and well mannered. We are planning to use them again. We supplied the paint and they supplied everything else. They cleaned up very well and worked efficiently. The work looks beautiful!

I bought a coupon online, called for an appointment. The men came on the agreed-upon date and power washed my house. I tried to schedule another appointment right away but had to wait a bit. Once I did, they returned and did more work. I left another message to schedule another appointmwent as soon as possible and was told that and never heard back.would work. But, the men did not come and I never got another call back.

Courtesy, quality and professionalism - excellent. After 14 months - no problem with repaired site, only general impression that service was immaculate. Price may seem high if considered as per-hour rate, but probably the best we could get around. Will recommend or use again with a pleasure. Thank you!
