There is a reason why Perry has earned a "Super Service" award over the past few years. He and his team were fantastic from start to finish. He promptly answered all emails, helped me place an order for our front doors (provided by a different vendor), and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with the job. His crew was courteous and professional--no loud music, clean, and helped me resolve a power and cable issue when we blew a fuse. I even had a neighbor comment about how hard they worked throughout the day. Siding is not cheap, but Perry came in on quote, and given the quality of the work, it was money well spent. Our roof needs to be replaced in the next few years, and Perry is the first person that I will be calling. I have already recommended him to two friends.

Perry and team are amazing. When I spend a good amount of money and still feel compelled to thank and praise the person I am paying...well, to me that means I feel like I received great value and it was money well spent. My house looks beautiful, so many people in the neighborhood have stopped by to compliment it! Perry was easy to work with, responsive and responsible. He had a broad product offering for me to choose from so that I could achieve exactly the look I was seeking. He is also very knowledgeable about the product lines and was able to discuss pros and cons of different options. To my delight, the information Perry shared matched everything I was reading online so I did not feel like I was being "sold" to. The team worked hard and cleaned up after themselves daily. My yard is fully and lushly landscaped, they worked around the plants and there was far less damage then I had expected. They also did fabulous clean up when the job was done. I will definitely recommend Giant Siding & Windows and in fact already have.

Fantastic! I always felt comfortable having them over to discuss plans. I never felt pressured. When it came time to do the work, it went smoothly.

Everything seem to go fine. After the job was done everything seemed fine. After a heavy rain storm , I had a leak and called Perry Hayes and he did send a man to look at the leak. The man did caulk around the skylight. The next time I had a heavy rain the roof leaked in the same place. I called Perry Hayes back again and he told me he would call me back. After waiting 3 days for his call back ,I called and left messages.( appox 4 times) I went on the roof myself and found that part of the siding was loose where the new ice shield was installed. I fixed the siding myself and after the next heavy rain the leak did stop. I did not think it was my job to follow up on work that I paid to have done. Because of this I recommended another roofing contracter on Angie to three friends of mine that had their roof replaced.

We have a 1921 Colonial and decided to replace all 20 windows which were original and not really functioning. Perry came in and discussed our options and the pros and cons of each. We initially were thinking of going with vinyl windows but wound up spending more for wood. Perry was great at providing reviews of different manufactures and helped us decide on windows we are ultimately very happy with. I asked a ton of questions along the way and was probably a hassle to deal with , but Perry was very gracious and made sure all my questions were answered and really provided an educational experience. The installation took two days as described. Unfortunately, we had some wet weather which I am sure was not ideal for Perry's team of installers, but they did a good job of keeping things clean. Perry was there a few times to answer questions and make sure we were pleased with the job. Overall, a great experience,

The estimate cost was way off the charts and very high. The company was hard to get a hold of. If they didn't want the job, they could have just told me so. There was some follow up after the estimate but they were challenging toreach.

The company was interested & attentive, even though the job was relatively small for a roofing job. We called on a thursday to arrange an estimate, the estimate was done the next day on friday, and the work was finished the following day on saturday (i.e. the day before Hurricane Sandy hit our area with a vengeance). The final price was lower than the initial estimate, because they worked with us to find some ways to get the job done at a price that was reasonable considering the highest quality materials and our specifications. We had gotten some estimates, and while the price we paid was a bit higher than the lowest bids, the company did try to meet us somewhere in the middle and we feel that the extra cost was worth it. Not really sure if we would have wanted the lowest bidders to work on our house. The workers arrived on time, and didn't waste any time during the single long day it took to complete the job. They were polite, accommodating (like when they stopped working so we could take some photos of the damaged area for insurance and have a look at the joists for any signs of mold, for instance), and only stopped working to eat and take bathroom breaks. One minor hiccup during the job (mistakenly began installing the new ply over the old wood instead of completely removing the old) was resolved by the workers themselves without any complaint or discussion as soon as it was mentioned, and when the company was informed of what had happened, they sent the senior foreman over within 30 mins. To be fair to the workers, we probably could have gotten away with replacing only about 10-20% of the old wood (it was our request to replace all), and it only took a few minutes for the crew to remove all of it, so we really have the impression that it was a misunderstanding rather than any attempt by the crew to take a shortcut. The cleanup was fast and thorough, and the brand new roof completely withstood Hurricane Sandy the next day. It took a few days to reconnect with the company after Sandy, and they made a punch list of the few little things that we wanted to have cleaned up a bit such as adjusting the gutter pitch and reworking some of the copper flashing. The punch list was completed the next business day while we were at work, and everything was done to our satisfaction. Lifetime warranty on materials and 5 years on labor. A pleasant experience - We are very pleased with this company, and happy that we don't have to worry about finding a roofer for future jobs as long as the price is right.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish; from the in home demonstration of the product to the installation. Everything promised was delivered and now my house is nice and warm instead of cold and drafty.

We feel so fortunate to have found Giant Siding & Windows this fall 2012. This business is a last hold out of the ?family-owned? company that provides honest estimates and superb workmanship. We interviewed several contractors for windows & siding, and roofing. Having purchased a home that needed a lot of help, including windows, siding, doors, and gutters and leaders, we were entirely without resources and just started from square one looking for contractors. We searched the Internet, asked around, and literally took phone numbers from trucks parked at local jobs in the neighborhood. We spoke with many providers, met with all and the choice was clear when we met Perry, third-generation owner of family-run Giant. Our decision was made after hearing about Perry?s proposal and his meeting with us. Initially my wife did not meet Perry, as she had done with all other contractors (she was on a business trip when we met), and she agreed he was our guy after that one phone conversation. Perry?s 24/7 availability is one of the great benefits of working with this family-owned business. While we didn't want to spend too much time on these decisions we wanted to have some direction in the area of color choice and window sizes as, for us, this was unchartered territory. With lots of more neutral siding colors available to us we were drawn to a less common choice. At our request, Perry chimed in with his suggestions and the results were fantastic. Plus, when we created a new back door Perry offered that his team select and install it for us, keeping in mind the direction we were going with the style of our house, and our only preference re hardware. The end result ? a back door we LOVE and no time and effort on our part to find. It has an elegant ?Frank Lloyd Wright? window design that couldn't?t be more fitting. This may sound silly but these details meant a great deal and just made us happy. In a business where the cost of jobs can become easily inflated and where honest advice is scarce, Perry was a standout. He just came across as completely honest. That?s the only way we can really sum it up. No pressure, no up-charging, no chasing us down, no mysterious items on the estimate and no ?last-minute sales? to get us to sign on. We came up against all of this with other potential providers. Perry just listened to us, gave us his honest feedback, seemed to care, and stood by. The result is amazing. The house has been transformed (in a very quick, as-promised turnaround time.) We have gone from simple brick ranch home in need of loving care to a home full of light provided by high-quality windows with the U-factor of 0.19. The siding itself is beautiful. We took a bit of a risk in choosing an earthy cypress color because it is different from more standard offerings, and we couldn't be happier. Behind the siding is a double layer of Styrofoam insulation providing an R-value of approximately 10. Basically, Perry and Giant Siding & Windows rescued us from being ripped off, and delivered on their promise, providing a great end-result on time. We started out in the abyss of low-budget, overly expensive or pushy salespeople! Giant Siding & Windows is one-of-a-kind and, we can?t imagine a better choice for this kind of job. While Giant was neither the least nor most costly, we felt so good about Perry and Giant that we did not even negotiate when we received their quote. Given our dealings with Perry and the proposed contract we knew we had a very reasonable quote. We had confidence and Giant exceeded all expectations in terms of quality of materials, turnaround time, honesty and the end result. We feel we couldn't have gotten luckier and are so glad we found Perry.

Their price was very high to make the upgrades. But they did seem like they would be able to do a good job with the project, because of how thorough they were in their inspection. Because of the price, we held off on starting the project. We are now ready to move ahead and so we called them today. However, when we called back to get the report about the structural engineering, the receptionist hung up on us. When we called them right back, the call went straight to voicemail.

Perry was involved from day one. He came for the estimate, the final decisions, and several times during the project. The whole project took about 6 days. A few things that came up along the way were addressed and taken care of. He came by for the final inspection and we were very happy with the job. He also recommended someone to replace our double garage doors which worked out very well also. I am thrilled with the quality of the siding and windows, love the color selections, and love all the nice comments from the neighbors!

What a great experience beginning to end. Perry was great, he educated us through the process but was not pedantic or overbearing, he just wanted to ensure that we were informed consumers and comfortable with the choices we were making. Perry was responsive to every request and very patient. His crew were terrific and they worked hard. No long breaks or screwing around, they were down to business. They did a great job on the roof and a great job cleaning up my yard after. Tony followed the crew and installed new gutters and attached the duct work to exterior vents. He was also great, efficient, professional and clean...... one of the things that made my experience with Tony so great was because some of the work he had to do was from inside our attic, well we had just had the wood floors refinished and they were not fully cured. Without me asking, he took of his shoes, it was so surprisingly considerate that it is notable. I'm so happy with my beautiful new roof, gutters and my experience that I can't wait to have Giant back in the spring to put new siding on our house.

They were one time, hey cleaned up and the roof still exists in good condition.

The entire process went very well, from estimate to completion. Perry is personable and professional, and knows his business well. He responded quickly to questions and concerns. The crew arrived on time, did great work, and cleaned up thoroughly each day and at the end of the project. During the removal of old aluminum siding, the cable box was damaged; Giant took care of the problem quickly and accepted responsibility. We had one minor issue with window installation; Perry sent someone out the next day and it was fixed immediately. Our house looks so much better than before--neighbors stop us to tell us how great it looks.

Perry was recommended to us by a mutual friend. We called him and set an appointment. He was on time and very professional. I have to admit, this was my first time purchasing siding on a house and I didn't know what to expect. Perry came in and asked some basic questions, but mostly listened to what our expectations were. After discussing our reasons for wanting siding and getting an understanding for our desired outcome, Perry asked if he could walk around the property to assess the potential project. After his walk through he spent time explaining what our options would be. He took the time to explain the differences in materials (low medium and high) and an "all included" price versus ala-cart pricing. From the onset we were considering windows as well. Perry provided a sample of his recommended window for us and explained the differences and choices out there. He provided us with a fair amount of information that helped us to understand what we could expect. Needless to say, he was more than patient with us and we felt comfortable enough to award Giant Siding the job. We trusted Perry from the onset, but his crew was just as trustworthy. The Giant crew has worked together for many years. Tony the foreman has been with Giant almost 20 years. These guys were top notch. Efficient, productive and just plain nice. They were always willing to answer questions, and didn't mind when I gawked at them. They work together as a well oiled machine. We have two dogs and were very concerned about the materials that would be left behind. Every evening before the crew left, they made sure they went around the house cleaning up after themselves and cared enough to use their magnetic sweep to pick up nails and any small pieces of metal so that our dogs wouldn't step on anything and get hurt. The crew is made up of four very skilled men. They are nothing short of amazing. Four days from start to finish! They are fast, efficient, courteous, meticulous, and trustworthy. If you are in the market for a vendor to purchase and hang your siding, install new replacement windows, look no further. Giant Siding should be your final choice.

I don't recommend them to anyone. I had a bad experience with them. They messed up a skylight and then we got a leak. They told me that they would fix it but it would be an extra $900. Then they told me to find someone else to fix it. They told us they would only cover the roof not the skylight. They were a little pricey. The quality of the work they did was good. They weren't upfront.

Called a couple weeks in advance to set up a consultation. We needed approx. 6 new windows in our townhouse. Alfonse arrived on time, even a little early, and was wonderful. In the process of remodeling our home, we've had dozens of different contractors, sales reps, etc. in and out. Alfonse was, without question, one of the best we've had. He took us step by step through everything involving our new windows, and explained the different options we had. He also made suggestions based on what might work best, based on the type of space we had in each different room. (Including a basement window w/ AC that we had no idea what to do with.) The price he gave us was extremely competitive. He was also great about being in touch in the following days. He sent us the specs for us to forward to our Board, just a few hours after he left. And the following Monday, sent us a bunch of other information and photos we may need in order to get Board approval. It's rare that someone follows up with you that much, not pressuring you to buy, but just making sure you fully understand your options. If we were to pick a company based solely on the rep they sent, we'd go with Giant in a second. They do have really great prices, and discounts for AL members. The only reason we went with another company, was their price for a particular window that we decided we wanted to go with, was a bit lower. We really beat ourselves up over it, because we liked Alfonse so much, but we had to go with the slightly more affordable option. Still, would recommend Giant to anyone. Seems to be a very well-run company, and they are very confident in their work and workers. Also, got a call from Perry, the owner, even after we had decided to go with another company. He was very friendly.

It went very well from start to finish. I ordered 6 additional windows and plan to have them do all the windows eventually.

Perry of Giant Windows was very knowledgeable and great to work with, and so were his workers. Perry was very quick to understand what we wanted, the rapid timetable that our job required, and the price point that would deliver good value for us. There was also a sense throughout the job that he could see things from our perspective, such as when he structured the roofing estimate to let us know what it would cost to do the roof if no plywood were needed, and how much it would cost if plywood turned out to be necessary. He was very responsive to calls about the job as it progressed, and he helped us in ways that weren't specific to the job for which we had hired him. For example, one day when he was on-site regarding the windows and roof, he generously shared his time and knowledge to help us sort out what was likely to lay beneath our vinyl siding and whether or not to proceed with its removal. Perry's workers, by the way, were polite, hard-working, skilled at their jobs, and careful to clean up the site at the end of each day. They too went above and beyond what was necessary. For example, when the window supplier delivered windows with the wrong color (and highly visible) weatherstripping, Alfonso and Gendersen, who were putting in the windows, graciously delayed installation and then, before work the next day, sought out the weatherstripping needed at a window factory with which they were familiar. They then patiently replaced 5 strips per window before proceeding with the rest of the job.

They responded to my initial phone call so promptly, I was speaking directly to the owner of the company right away. Really nice guy. He came to our house the next morning with a partner, and both were so friendly. Immediately felt like we were in good hands. They replaced our windows within 3 weeks (estimated time was 2, but the installer was sick on our only day off from work.) The installation only took about 1 hour 45 minutes. We couldn't believe it! So happy we found Giant Siding and Windows! We will be using them for any other window replacement in our old house.

Top notch job from start to finish. Alphonse came by and gave a very competitive quote. Communication and punctuality were excellent -- windows were ready exactly when they said they would be, and the installation by Andrei was fast (less than a full day) and very clean.

Our experience with Giant was excellent, from their initial thorough estimate to the final follow-up. We changed our start dates several times, and Giant was completely flexible. I would absolutely recommend Giant to anyone investing in a new roof!
