Description of Work: I'm happy with Windows, one was the wrong size and had to be reordered, waiting for install, not all my phone calls were returned promptly.

Description of Work: Call center didn't call back for almost 2 hours although they said it would take less than 20 minutes. When they did, they claimed they don't do roof repairs, only new roofs. The website ("services") section said they do repairs and related carpentry and masonsry. I'm very disappointed, and they should take down their website.

Description of Work: They did the work and once u call them for service, they take there time responding or jerk u around cause they have there money. I'm still waiting!

Description of Work: Angie's list description did not say they only do major jobs and complete roof replacement. I needed repair work done. So problem was not with Giant, it was with Angie's List.

Description of Work: after 10 minute phone call giving them name, location, email , multiple phone #s never a call back. Guess it slipped through the cracks . It would have beem a $ 12,000 job.

Description of Work: I needed siding for my 70 year old home, but I didn't want the usual vinyl siding. I sent an email to Giant Siding and Windows via Angie's list and received a phone call within minutes. Perry Hayes, the owner of the company arrived as scheduled and was personable and easily understood what I wanted. I was impressed with the history of his family business and he just seemed to be an honest person. So I didn't feel I needed to get a second estimate. The price he quoted was what I expected to pay for full house siding. I had to wait a few weeks for a permit to be obtained but Perry took care of it. On the day the work was scheduled to begin Alphonso the foreman arrived early with his crew, he introduced himself and the guys who were all polite and friendly. The job is impeccable, my house looks brand new. People are knocking on my door to tell me how great it looks and inquiring about the company that did the work.

Description of Work: These guys were awesome. They are everything a contractor should be and everything I would have expected. I probably had 5 other bids and their pricing was very competitive. They showed up on time and worked through the whole job at a good pace. They didn't leave us hanging at the end, for example. Our house was not easy because it's old and not all the surfaces are even. They were professional and pleasant to deal with. Perry was there frequently. We had previously had all our windows replaced, except one, because it was an odd shape. But it so happened that they had a similar window in their office and so they sold that to us (simulated divided light, octagonal).

Description of Work: We just needed some repairs to an old roof. One was causing a leak into a bedroom. They got the job done and we've had no problems since then.
