I contacted Pro Mechanical Plumbing in the morning and was greeted by Howard, the owner, who promised to come by same day though possibly into the evening as they work late. Howard called in the early afternoon to let me know they would arrive shortly, which they did. The problem was identified and repaired quickly and professionally in surprisingly very little time. I managed to get an estimate on the replacement of the supply valve to a toilet while they were at my home (which was corroded and an eyesore, but otherwise worked fine) and agreed to have it replaced as well at that time which also went very quickly. Altogether very satisfied with the experience and will use Pro Mechanical again in the future.

I had a high efficiency boiler/hot water heater (Navien) system installed a few years ago by a different plumber. The unit was installed improperly, after 100s of hours speaking with the company, 1000s of dollars additional to the 2nd plumber trying to fix it, and a flood in my brand new basement, a 3rd plumber finally got the unit to work properly (the unit was fine, just an installation error no one could figure out.) Since then, I have some small leaks around the unit and corrosion. I have asked the 3rd plumber to come back and have had at least 4 other plumbers in my house (for other issues - toilet clogged, washing machine back up) who have looked at the leaks, and no one was willing to help. They would tell me what a mess the installation was and to call someone else. I am SO grateful for Howard Linzer - the owner of this company. We scheduled an appointment, he himself came over, went over the issues he saw and gave me a price. About a week later, he came back with one of his partners. They were amazing. They went above and beyond what I expected. My initial concern was one leaky pipe cap and he pointed out multiple safety issues and fixed them. This unit is in a basement closet - which is our playroom/guestroom. I've had nightmares about it bursting again while my kids are in the room. It's a huge relief to know the issues have been taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone, and will be giving his number to my family for their plumbing issues in the future.

called for a estimate to replace main shut off value and kitchen sink faucet on Tuesday feb 16 2016.said he call me back in a few minutes called me back in 2 hours and said he would come by late afternoon early evening I said make sure you call me before you come over he said ok.never show up or calls show up at my house 2 days later after 7pm at night with out calling me my wife said have to speak to me said could not wait not very professional at all

Howard was very prompt and professional. I usually use another company but after checking Angies List Howard was hands down the crowd favorite and I can see why. He was very thorough in inspecting my problem before and after the job was complete. Even though the job seemed simple enough i would NEVER mess with a gas line and having a pro like howard take care of it for a very reasonable price was a no brainer. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Howie installed our new Hansgrohe kitchen faucet in an efficient, professional manner. He also tightened up a loose handle on the faucet (which was beyond the scope of the job) at no extra charge. Howie is pleasant and knowledgeable, and we would definitely use him again in the future.

He is very responsive and works late into the evening. Previous plumbers we have used would make appointments and then not show. Howard is very reliable, and comes when WE are available. Since we both work, this means late afternoon into evening. What I learned from him is that a well maintained steam heating system very rarely bangs. Now we keep the system flushed and no longer have to try to sleep with a loudly banging radiator. The expensive repair was Nov 2014. The service call in Oct 2015 was for a flushing of the steam heating system.

While most plumbing companies don't give you any kind of estimate over the phone, all they want is to get in your house then try to up-charge their work, Howard was the furthest from that. I originally thought I needed a new water heater after being told that by another company, which wanted to charge me almost $1,000 for the same work. I decided to get a second opinion, and I am so glad that I called Howard. He arrived within the hour and told me that although my water heater was on the older side, that there was nothing wrong with the unit itself. I was so relieved. Howard was honest and straight forward. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, another company wanted to charge me over $200 just to flush out the unit. Howard simply turned one knob and flushed the entire thing! I will definitely be calling Pro Mechanical in the future for any water heater, or boiler needs. The price included the parts as well as labor

Plumber was very nice and professional. The work was done in a timely manner, and efficiently. His worker was very nice and knowledgable. There were time where I tried to contact him, even for opportunity to do more work, but was unable to reach him. I believe he may have been traveling. However, we were very happy with the job and would certainly call him again.

Howard is extremely professional, personable and a real pleasure to work with. Very responsive and attentive. Found my new go to plumber for future work.

I called the provider this morning and he gave me an ETA. He called me prior to arriving. He left the get the new tank and along with another worker the tank was installed along with the valves and removal of pipes. they capped old pipes and completed the job. He explained how to use the valves and pointed out where to get information on the unit which was pasted on the tank. They also provided the telephone number of the manufacturer and explained warranty on the unit, parts and labor. All debris and and packaging was removed and the area was left as clean as they found it.

Work never happened and still haven't heard back. Called on a Monday, got his cell phone, the guy said he was away until Thurs and I could please call back so answering service could log call and he would get back to me upon return. I said ok to both. On Thurs answering service actually returns my call, I call back and get proprietor on cell again, he says he's tied up and will call me back. I said please come to job if you have time to evaluate. Wasted the entire week.

It went very well. Howard answered my call promptly, was very patient with me on the phone allowing me to explain all the particulars of the situation and then had one of his employees take all of my information. He was on-site within a short period of time, confirmed the assessment made over the phone and then went through all of the options I had. After settling on the option that made the most sense, he prepped the tank in advance to save his team some time and then scheduled the team to come by a few hours later. The team came within the window promised and got right to work. They were done in not long a time at all and had drained and removed the old leaking hot water heater and replaced with a new one and changed the gas connection as the heights of the units were different. Additionally, they added a shut-off valve on the hot water outlet pipe. Howard and his team were very professional and punctual. They answered all my questions and worked diligently. I would recommend them to others.

I discovered a large water leak in my basement on a Saturday morning. Howard came within the time he promised and diagnosed the problem. He had the parts on his truck and the problem was fixed quickly. Howard too the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong with the boiler. He was very professional and courteous.

They did a great job. They were very professional. He was on time and the work was performed wonderfully. I thought it was a good job.

In order to gain access to the area of the cracked pipe which was located in the laundry room, they had to remove the dryer and all the connections including the gas line. They capped the gas so as to be safe and removed the door to the laundry room to be able to remove the dryer from the room completely. Based on their recommendation, they left the dryer outside the room so we can bring in a contractor to determine the level of damage. The cracked water pipe was fixed very quickly. We were able to turn the water main on in less than two hours of Pro Mech arriving. Although the water main was turned off very quickly after we identified the water leak, there was still minimal damage. The contractor (who was recommended by Pro Mech) stopped by in two days time and was able to inform us of what was involved to determine the damage. Pro Mech did recommend to purchase a dehumidifier to try to remove some of the water, but it did little good due to the amount that was later identified. Still, we are using the dehumidifier in our basement to remove excess moisture there. Howie and Tony were also very professional as they were careful not to dirty the floors as they were coming in and out of the house. They removed their shoes and put paper down so as to not cause dirt and excess snow from outside to enter the house. Overall, I was very pleased with the work that was done, especially since it was in the middle of a snowstorm over the weekend and late at night!

THE PHONE WAS ANSWERED PROMPTLY BY THE OWNER, WHO CALLED BACK WITHIN MINUTES TO SAY THEY COULD BE THERE BETWEEN 12:00 AND1:00 P.M. BOTH THE TECH AND THE OWNER CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY WERE ACTUALLY ON THEIR WAY, AND THEY ARRIVED PROMPTLY. SINCE THE PIPES HAD FROZEN AND COME APART, THEN THAWED BEFORE THE WATER COULD BE TURNED OFF, EVERYTHING WAS WET IN THE BOILER ROOM, WHICH IS A SEPARATE ROOM OUTSIDE, ATTACHED TO THE HOUSE, SO IT WAS COLD. THEY SHOWED ME EXACTLY WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THEY GAVE GOOD PRACTICAL ADVICE ON HOW TO AVOID HAVING THE PIPES FREEZE AGAIN AND CALLED THE NEXT DAY TO CHECK AND MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS STILL FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. THEY GAVE ME CONTACT INFORMATION SO I COULD GET IN TOUCH WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.
